I went in to grease monkey for some advice after my car overheated the other day. I talked to them and they told me it could either be my oil needed changed or my coolant was leaking. After they looked at my car, Matt topped off my coolant, reset my oil change sensor (I got my oil changed at walmart and they didn't reset the sensor ) and sent me on my way, no charge at all! Very trustworthy people, definitely coming to them next time for my oil change! read more

I continue to be impressed with Grease Monkey first in Colorado and now visiting Utah. I needed to have my oil topled off, and Marcos showed me how to check the oil level. I asked about tire pressure (I had an indicator tell me my tire(s) were undeflated. Marcis didn't hesitate for a minute in checking the pressure that saved me a trip elsewhere. I went to grease monkey today told him what kind of oil I use in my vehicles. I've been going there for the last 14 years. They use the wrong oil then I asked to talk to a manager. They told me the manager wasn't available so I asked for a manager's card so I could call him. They said that they didn't have one so then I asked for the manager's number and they said they couldn't give it to me. Worst company ever I will be changing oil companies places will never go back there again. read more

I've used Grease Monkey a couple of times in the past and had no complaints. However, this time they really annoyed me. They tried to sell me on differential and transfer case fluid changes when I don't have a transfer case nor a front differential. Then they told me that they recommend changing differential fluid every 15,000 miles. That is ridiculous for a highway driven vehicle. They then pointed out that my power steering fluid was over full and that this would cause seals to burst. That is absolutely incorrect. The most it will do is come out the air vent in the cap and drip to the ground. When it came time to pay, I had to wait...wait...wait... because somebody didn't know how to switch from "fleet" to "customer" mode on the computer. They need better trained employees. And NOT trained to push unnecessary services but to know and understand automobiles. read more

I witnessed the craziest thing at this location today! They are sooo busy short staffed and are doing everything they can to help there customers. The sweet girl that came from the Washington location to help today was amazing and she got screamed at by a man for forgetting his 7 dollar coupon. It was outrageous and so unnecessary. People are human and make mistakes. Please remember to be kind and not so damn aggressive towards people who are just trying to do their jobs. My experience here was great read more

All oil change shops are equal? No sir!! A great bunch of guys, super fast, no hard pressure tactics and a happy little carnation in my dash air vent upon hopping back in my beloved Xterra. SUPER GREAT VALUE too!! Waiting room has WiFi, Keurig coffee; popcorn, soda and a coloring table for kiddos. Super thoughtful. recently bought a car and brought it in to be serviced and fluids flushed and drained, they ended up breaking my oil pan bolt, and instead of replacing it in the first place they tried putting silicone around it, ive had to refill my oil, and my coolant 2 days after going in and having it serviced, they ended up replacing my oil pan plug and refilling it for free, but instead of doing that in the first place they knowingly Jimmy rigged it, if i hadn't noticed a puddle of oil i would've never known or just went and checked it out till i needed to, they always have new employees and seems like they hire people without any knowledge of their job in the first place... i do not recommend this place. they have literal 'monkeys' working there. read more

Do not use grease monkey. I brought my car here and a day later catastrophic engine failure. Turns out they forgot to put oil back in after they drained it. I went back in to ask if I could watch the video feed from there cameras and they told me NO! What the hell are the cameras there for!! I called to the head grease monkey office and talked to the manager and he told me that they are there for employee safety. What about MY safety. What they did could have caused my car to catch fire or worse. In the end of all this they wouldn't compensate for the $9,000 repair and they acted like assholes the whole time. I notice that lots of the good reviews are pretty old. We have had good experiences in the past but our oil change last time was a problem. My husband noticed oil in our driveway and when we returned to Grease Monkey it was discovered that the bolt holding it shut was dangling! We were very low on oil. They did fix it quickly and added more oil, for free of course. We go out of state a lot and through "nowhere." It could have been a very serious problem. Just be aware.... read more

Avoid the drive thru car wash Nov 6, 2020. I used the $8 wash and a oily film covered my car. Went back the next day and was given a free wash--same results. They didn't want to address the issue. Last response was yea that's what it's doing. Drove to the touchless was by Costco and had good normal results. Done with the Sunset touchless wash and the poor response when informing the 'monkeys' working there. read more

We took our jeep in for service while on vacation because the oil light came on. Never had any issues with grease monkey. This time it leaked after and we were super worried. Called and spoke with Chris who told us to bring it in right away. He said it was just excess that was dripping, still replaces the new oil filter with another new oil filter just in case, topped off the oil and even offered to go clean the driveway of the house we were staying at. I usually take my car to the dealership but last time I was in the dealer recommended a lot of $ repairs. I took my car to Grease Monkey for second opinion and they were honest and upfront.
