My minivan was leaking fluid, so I took it to Speed Lube 2. They diagnosed the problem within a few minutes that I had a cracked radiator. The tech showed me the crack and then, after going inside they used their price sheet in their computer to give me a price for the repair based on the make and model of my vehicle, the replacement parts and the time it would take for the repair. Estimated time was three hours and they said they'd have it all done before the end of the day. (It was after 11 am at the time.) I got a call around 4 pm that the car was done. Nice. Great. They treated me well and I felt they were honest with me about everything and finished the work well before the end of the day. I have used Speed Lube several times and I've had no issues - they have been great. However, this time seemed to take unusually longer than expected. I was on the fence of whether to get the oil changed or not because I was kind of on a time crunch, however, I had to drive the car significant distance so I determined if there was no wait then I would do it. I pulled up and was able to get right into the bay for service. About 30 min into waiting, I had noticed four cars leave the bay next to mine and my car was still not finished. I asked as to why it was taking so long and I was told that they did not have the oil filter in stock and had to "rush order" it in. The oil change was then completed, and I went on my way, but it would be really nice to have someone step out and explain that there will be a delay or an estimated time or something along those lines. It took about 45 min, which isn't terrible I guess, but probably at least twice as long as I was expecting, which seems even longer when on a time crunch. read more

These guys are literally charging you for less oil at full price. They will tell you they put less oil due to expansion of the oil. There is a reason why there is a full line and a low line on the oil stick. But they will lie to your face. Both locations over the years have done shady business. Don't get ripped off or told somethings wrong or need to be changed out on your vehicle. This place will rob you and take your money while sleeping good at night. I want to share an experience that really shook me, in hopes it prevents someone else from being taken advantage of. Recently, I met potential buyers at Speed Lube so they could inspect my vehicle. I've owned this car for over five years and it has been extremely reliable. In fact, I had it fully checked just three days earlier, and it was confirmed to be in excellent condition with no issues. During the inspection, however, the buyers suddenly claimed the car had multiple problems -- including a supposed check-engine light -- and then offered me a price far below Blue Book value. None of what they claimed lined up with the recent inspection or my long-term ownership experience. What raised serious concern afterward was learning that a family member of the buyers works as a mechanic at that same location. That connection made the situation feel less like a coincidence and more like a coordinated attempt to devalue my car. I can't prove intent, but the experience was unsettling enough that I feel strongly compelled to warn others: If you're having a vehicle inspected for a sale, be cautious about where you go and who is involved. Always get a second opinion, trust documentation from a reputable and independent shop, and don't let anyone pressure you into accepting a deal that doesn't make sense. Fell for the upscale on oil quality (Mobile One) but they put in the cheap stuff. Caught them on it and asked to see a manager. They refused. Would not even offer a discount after being caught red handed on the bait and switch. read more

Sooo Happy with Speed Lubes service!! They live up To their mission statement. "... offer First Class service" . The manager and lead mechanic really are amazing. My exhaust had a leak from a broken bolt in a hard place and no one in town could or wanted to help me.. after contacting 10 shops, SPEED LUBE was able to fit me in as they helped other customers at the same time. I think a large reason they could fit me in was how organized they were. They fixed the leak, went the extra mile and topped off fluids and aired my tires with no extra cost. Wonderful company. Needed an oil change and to get a screw removed from my tire. I called ahead to make sure the place checked out and I noticed right off the bat that the customer service was great. When I got to the shop I was greeted warmly and was taken care of immediately. They couldn't remove my screw because they don't do tire services but reccomend someone for the job. I used to go there but after several visits for small items and them trying to "up sell" me on big ticket items that were not needed I stopped going. This was my 1st time here and I really enjoyed the service I received. My car dealer was doing a promo that gives us free oil changes through Speed Lube, which is the reason for my visit here. The service tech greeted me promptly and helped me figure out what I needed. I wanted to upgrade and pay the difference for the BEST oil change available. He took my keys and had it done in like 20 minutes! It was hot outside and they had the ac on full blast in the waiting area which was a huge plus! They had a tv built into the counter which looked cool. My only gripe would be that the waiting area was kind of small. Other then that, everything was great! I stopped by on a road trip to have the oil changed in my van. The place down the street from my old house in Vegas charged me $60; Speed Lube was $36. The staff were nice and the waiting room was comfy enough to work on my taxes. I didn't test it out, but noticed that they have guest wi-fi.
