It happened at a very difficult time and place, about 150 miles east of St. George and in a snow storm. We stopped in Kanab for an engine test and were told that the transmission had developed a problem that would disable the All-Wheel-Drive. We were told that driving to St. George would not cause further damage to the transmission but the snow storm, without all-wheel-drive, resulted in a very cautious drive to St. George. We called ahead to St. George Transmission and they were familiar with that particular Subaru problem and they had the parts in stock. We decided that our other car, a Ford Transit 350 van handled even worse than the Subaru so while St. George Transmission fixed the Subaru, we had Snow tires put on the van. We have fond memories of St. George and, especially of St. George Transmission. They made our Forester safe to drive, even though the snow storm got worse as we drove on to Seattle. Great company and staff is very knowledgeable in Subaru transmission problems.

The tech showed me the crack and then, after going inside they used their price sheet in their computer to give me a price for the repair based on the make and model of my vehicle, the replacement parts and the time it would take for the repair. Estimated time was three hours and they said they'd have it all done before the end of the day. (It was after 11 am at the time.) I got a call around 4 pm that the car was done. Nice. Great. They treated me well and I felt they were honest with me about everything and finished the work well before the end of the day. I'd definitely recommend taking your car here to be repaired.

These guys are literally charging you for less oil at full price. They will tell you they put less…read moreoil due to expansion of the oil. There is a reason why there is a full line and a low line on the oil stick. But they will lie to your face. Both locations over the years have done shady business. Don't get ripped off or told somethings wrong or need to be changed out on your vehicle. This place will rob you and take your money while sleeping good at night. No integrity at both locations.

However, I was apparently hired here at some recent date because I had to remain in the drivers seat and follow directions this time. Not a huge problem. After finding this business on Yelp I decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. When…read moreI arrived they were quite busy with three cars in each of their two lanes. I was concerned about having to wait a long time and asked the attendant if I should come back when it was less busy. He assured me that they were always busy and that they would get me done in about 30 minutes. I went into their waiting room that was quite comfortable and full of other customers. I picked out a magazine and sat down to wait. To my surprise they has me ready to go in about 25 minutes. They showed me a checklist of all the things they had looked at and it was very thorough. I noticed that there was a middle aged man keeping everything and everyone moving along. Everyone appeared to know what they were doing unlike many of the other lube shops I have gone into. Overall this was a great experience and they will now be my go to lube shop here in St Geotge.
