I read online that introducing moisture to fabric can "reactivate" old smells. I tried to remove it myself but it didn't really work, so I reached out to the company and they sent out another team for a quick spot cleaning on another day free of charge. Let's start with the good. I spilled some smelly food on my passenger car seat on Friday night and contacted several businesses to get a quote. Frank was one of the first to respond, offered a fair price, and was available to come out the next morning to help clean my car. He was prompt, professional, and seemed to do a decent job. I tipped him for the service and let the car dry out with the windows down for the next few days, as directed A few days later when the car had dried out, I noticed the smell had improved, but was still present. I contacted Frank asking nicely if he would be able to come back and do a second round of cleaning, stating that I understood that this was just a particularly stubborn food spill and offered to pay him again for his time (I also left it open ended so he could name an appropriate price). This received no response. I followed up again, again to no response. I was turned off by this lapse in communication and went on to seek another company to help do further cleaning - which they did two more times, and with prompt and clear communication. Overall, I give this guy credit for doing a decent job the first time around, but all subsequent interactions pointed to a disregard for customer retention

The car came out looking really good, and it's clear they take pride in the actual detailing. That said, I had a frustrating experience with pricing that I think needs to be called out. When the technician arrived, we walked the car together and I was given an agreed upon price. After the wash was completed, I was then told the car wasn't properly evaluated and the price would be higher because it "took longer than expected" - not due to anything unforeseen. I don't think that's acceptable. Pricing should be clear and agreed upon before any work begins -- not adjusted once the job is already complete. In this situation, it was never communicated that the price may be adjusted. It puts the customer in a difficult position and takes away from an otherwise positive experience. Again, the end result was great, which is why I'm not rating lower. But the pricing process needs to be more upfront and transparent. I'd recommend double confirming a firm price before they start to avoid any surprises.

Drop off was super easy- left my car around 9am and was able to pick it up at 1pm. I had just been camping and so I knew I had a decent amount of sediment inside. On the inside, you can purchase car cleaning supplies which was really cool. After the detail, my car looked nearly new! There was a lot of discoloration from my repeated sunblock use and they were able to remove it all. I requested the CPR detail package, which was $180, and it was so worth it! The interior and exterior were well taken care of and I was given a 40 minute heads-up call for when the car would be done. This gave me plenty of time to head over since I live out of town. StreamDrive really went in and did some disinfecting, were able to remove lingering odors, got the leather restored, restored the headlights, and even performed a trim restore so this 2013 car looks really fresh! I wasn't expecting to write a review for this auto detailing service, so I don't have any "before" photos. I'm sorry about that, it's not an ideal situation for a glowing restoration review. I'm not so comfortable sharing pictures of my personal vehicle in the first place, you know what I mean? My pics just look like a super clean car.
