They weren't too sweet and I could taste the distinct flavors in each bite.

That's basically a red velvet sandwich with a cream cheese layer in the middle, AND cream cheese frosting. Flavors were pretty good! Cake slice was pretty big, and while it wasn't as moist as others I have, I think that's because their slices were stored in the refrigerator and just came out of the fridge. Interior is pretty small. No tables, no chairs, this is a get it and go establishment. They also sell cupcakes but no coffee/beverages. Parking isn't an issue here because sadly, the Diamond Plaza just holds Scratch Batch Cakes, a computer repair shop and one other store...everything else is empty. This plaza is off of Covington Highway, just before you reach Glenwood Road (right across the street from the Chevrolet dealership). Getting into the lot is easy. Getting out of the lot sucks though, especially if you're turning left towards I-285's direction. At the end of the day, I like this small business that's been around for about a year and a half. I loved the mix of people coming through -- parents with babies and strollers, people working quietly on laptops, friends playing Uno and Connect Four, and locals just stopping in for their usual tea. It felt welcoming. Also worth mentioning, the bathroom was spotless and fully stocked, which always says a lot to me about a business. But no... the level of service today stopped at telling us they had to be put in the oven and that was it. Definitely worth the trip not a disappointment. Pull up and check them out for yourself. You really cannot ask for more than that. It's great. The staff was patient as I was taking my time. They had helped the few people in front of me really quickly so I was not fully prepared. Cool chill folks. The ice cream is good! The interior is pretty small and there wasn't anywhere for us to sit, so we took our cups to-go. They were refreshing treats in the Southern Atlanta heat. Husband loved his chocolate based ice cream while I ate my cup full of cookies and creme. He and I totally agreed we would come back for a cup of a different flavor just to try more of what Sweet-Stack has to offer.

Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts and going one step further, the Salted Caramel Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (CF) is one of my all-time favorites. That said, I've been patiently waiting to try this one from my local Crumbl for a while. The cookie is dense, satisfyingly chewy, and cool (it's served chilled). There's just a hint of graham cracker flavor to the cookie, but it might also just be overpowered by the real stars of the show: salted caramel & cream cheese frosting. Crumbl acolytes know the power of that phenomenal cream cheese frosting and this time there's an additional layer of caramel. As expected, the caramel is sweet, sticky, and chewy. If I have one complaint about the cookie it's this, mine did not really have much sea salt. Crumbl's stock photo shows a caramel pool teeming with sea salt and if you look closely at mine there are only a few specs of salt. This can be forgiven as the cookie is just so damn good!
