My husband and son went in to check it out telling the men what they were looking for and told them then would be back soon when my son was 18 and could purchase it himself. A week or so later they walked back in and the guys remembered him and congratulated him for turning 18 and helped him with everything he needed, he walked out a happy guy! A few weeks after that they stopped back in for ammo and the guys were laughing asking him if he was ready for another one. In my case, they sent me a saddle that had a mold problem and it was a battle to get them to refund even free return shipping. In my opinion, the saddle had been misrepresented from the outset, and had they been up front about the problem, I would not have had it shipped to me in the first place. I experienced bad communication, several conflicting arguments about why the saddle could not possibly have been moldy...or why I should not expect better given the price, no return calls, New-York hardball nastiness even to get the return shipping I did. Owner Donna Woods knows I'm writing this review and doesn't care. I can document the mold damage on this saddle and offered to do that for the owner. I'll be happy to back up my claim with those pictures and records to anyone who wants to see them. UsedSaddles.com connected to a bricks-and-mortar store in LaGrange, New York. That store used to called Lightning G and was owned by a different guy who had lots of knowledge and a huge inventory; it used to be a great place to go for new and used saddles... and good practices. I didn't realize how much things had changed. I have ridden for 30 years and shopped on-line with many of the US tack stores who sell saddles on-line. I have bought saddles this way for more than a decade now. The only other time I had a problem with a mis-represented saddle, the (well-established) store refunded my shipping in both directions. I think that's industry standard. It doesn't happen often that a store doesn't know what it has in a saddle it will send out to you. But that was my experience with UsedSaddles.com and I won't do business with them again.
