Came here a for a long time, but have been noticing the employees slipping here on the little things in a haircut for a while now. I could let it go before since the ladies here were so nice and the customer service made up for it. But when I call you to make sure your open and tell you I am driving across town to make there before you close to only get there and be turned away in front of everybody is embarrassing and unacceptable. Going somewhere else for a while. Do your selves a favor and DONT tell someone your open when you are going turn them away when they there. And most importantly if you tell someone yes get here before five and we'll get you in, ask for there name and make sure the team knows you have one more customer instead of having convenient memory loss when the person shows up. read more

Why did they have me wait 30mins to tell me that ? They act like the customers time is not worth nothing come on it's 2021. Will never give them my business again. The entire staff is very welcoming, unlike the other Oakley location which is closer to me. When you walk in, everyone greets you with a smile in their voice. Today I brought my mother in law in for a trim. She's visiting from out of state and has a language barrier. Shes also a bit hard of hearing, so I was nervous due to past experiences just in general out in public. Sandy was so very sweet, kind, and patient. I am sitting outside the Panera a couple of doors down and I'm wondering if it would be weird if I brought Ashley a cookie. No, seriously, this girl is my new hero. I got my haircut (was supposed to be a trim but was indeed a cut) over at the other Great Clips on Balfour on Thursday. HOLY SMOKES, I will NEVER make that mistake again. The long and short of it.. was my hair. I told the girl I wanted to keep the length and basically ended up with a mullet. I wore a hat all weekend. This girl was seriously the worst thing to happen to hair, ever. But! This review is not about her. This review is about my new hero Ashley and how she defied all odds and made me pretty (err.. feel pretty) again! She took her time, explained what she was doing, where the other "stylist" went wrong, and how she could fix it. She went small step by small step, always making sure it was what I wanted. She didn't even complain when my hair turned her hands red and that is very commendable in itself. I really appreciate all the time she took with me and all the effort she made to make me presentable for the outside world again. I will definitely be back! Feeling pissed! This is the third time I've been to this location and made to wait after everyone. First two times I checked in online, yet they helped others first when I got here. Assuming it was policy, and no point to checking in, I walked in yesterday 7/6/17 and checked in. Told two people checked in online before me but it didn't matter because I was there first. Then when it's my turn I never got her name, some black girl, one of the younger ones there just spent the whole time cleaning until the people who checked in online showed up, then she without acknowledging me at all grabbed, them, checked them in and took them. Feeling discriminated against and pissed about it. All I can say is when I ride in, like these last three times I'm thrown on the back burner and made to wait. Not Kettering if I checked in online or not. The two times I've come here with the kids, in the minivan I don't get this treatment. Fuck this location, and whatever issue it is they have. These places are so hit or miss. Got a terrible haircut from here a few weeks ago, if an older lady wearing flashy clothe offers you the "businessman cut" just run.
