was greeted rudely at the door because I didn't sign in while I was driving.. My son literally said he didn't want to be next because he didn't want the lady who is rude... well we showed her a picture of what he wanted and she sent him to me with his hair touching his nose so I asked her to cut more off and you could tell she was agitated. She cut off half of an inch to where I had to cut his hair when we got home. It was completely uneven. I wish I could post a picture because it's terrible. I went to Great Clips on St Rd 50 in Clermont, Fl. I was looking for someone to trim three inches off the bottom of my hair. Provie was my Stylist. I've never encountered such poor attitude and customer service from a hair Dresser. Provie convinced me to purchase a shampoo and conditioner - Matrix So Silver. She said it was for blondes. After getting home I google and read that this shampoo can turn your hair white/silver. I decide the very next day to return it. Provie said Manager was on vacation and that I would have to return. I returned the next day and she gave me a heard time returning the shampoo and conditioner. She kept insisting that if I only use a very little of it my hair would not turn silver. If I use a lot it will turn silver. I again told her I do not want it and she then processed a refund (not willingly) . Will never go back to this Great Clips again. Nor will I recommend them. read more

Customer service here is frustrating. Completely unable to set an appointment even for a correction on a cut I had earlier that day. The stylists are very hit and miss some have a lot of experience but most are brand new on the job. It is sad because there are some fantastic people who work here but there overall the customer service is garbage. read more

It's was something that wood out to me because it was something I don't normally see at great clips. Way to go the extra mile guys. Was able to book an appointment about 10 minutes out and walked right in to an empty chair for my 3 year-old son. He's always been a tricky one to get his hair cut, but the stylist easily convinced him to hop on up and she was able to use the clippers for an extended time on him and he was just fine. I had checked in through the mobile app and it gave a waiting time of 26 minutes. After arriving the lobby was full and a gentleman arrived about 10 minutes after I did was asked if he checked in online. He stated no and was added to the other people that were waiting. As the customers that were waiting were processed one by one, the gentleman that came in after me was escorted to a chair. I pointed out that I had checked in online prior to my arrival and the gentleman didn't and was taken before I was. I informed that I would not do business there that day. I checked in and went to another Great Clips location 7 miles away. Upon my arrival I was being expected. I went here to just get layers in my hair and my bangs trimmed , it turned out good at first but once I got home I had parts of my hair missing and my hair was all funky looking , to give them the benefit of the doubt they did do it with no lights on but the lady who cut my hair after telling her I wanted to keep it long ended up cutting way to much off and ofc by the time I had noticed it was already to late , I don't recommend this one read more

I went there on a Friday morning and they were pretty busy but I only waited 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes I should have taken to run. I noticed while I was waiting that the stylists were doing a pretty bad job on simple hair cuts. But I was there so. They seem to want to get you in and out as fast as possible. My hair cut was a waste of time and money 14 dollars for a trim. I asked for layers but I think that is too complicated and time consuming for them. They will get you in and out in 5 minutes but I don't think that is what people want. It is a shame. I won't go there again. read more

Didn't make an appt. for this location, took a chance and walked in. The Salon was clean and there was no wait at all. I was seated in stylist Oriana's chair within minutes. I've had terrible haircuts from other salons over the last 3 year and decided to give Great Clips a try. So glad I did because Oriana did an amazing job. Before she started, I showed her a picture of how I've always worn my hair and asked her if she could do it, even with all the mistakes the other salons had made. She said she could and after about 15-20 minutes in her chair, I was done. Oriana gave me the best haircut I've had in almost 3 years. It's been a little over 2 weeks and I'm still excited about how good my hair still looks. Provie is very professional and experienced. When you leave you know you've gotten a great cut when it is easy to manage and style on your own. Ghastly haircut, seriously the worst I have ever experienced and that includes every haircut I received in the Marines. I will never go back to this shop. When I was going through the process and sitting in the chair it only took a few minutes to realize that this was going to end badly. She was buzzing my hair with the clippers and she would begin each stroke by hitting my scalp with the clipper leading edge. That hurts! Well anybody can do that accidently a few times. This seemed to be her approach to clipper use however. So I pulled away for a second and explained the problem and asked her not to do that. I would like to say she took that with good grace but I can't. She mumbled some response. I started to ask a question and that response I heard and saw. It was essentially a shrug of the shoulders and don't talk, it's noisy in here and I can't really hear you. She was really fast. If it took 5 minutes to cut my hair I would be surprised. She had two choices, she could be fast or she could be careful. She chose fast and it shows. My hair is cut unevenly. There are areas that were missed entirely. There are two areas, one above each ear, where she managed to leave actual gouges. She didn't seem happy to have me as a customer and I would like to assure her that I regret being her customer. She asked if there was anything else she could do, I said no, paid, and left. What I thought was yes, if you could put my hair back I would appreciate it. I would not even give them one star. I checked in online at 10:07am. It said 20 min wait time, so I arrived at 10:24 am. I gave me name to young man at counter and said I checked in online.I waited approx 10 minutes later and a older man walked in and the older lady hairdresser with brown gray hair shoulder length hair sat him right away in the first chair nearest the register counter. She then walked up to counter and I asked kindly if I was registered as online check in. I was thinking that maybe the young man put me as a walk in.She stated rudely and loud and yelled "this man that just came in was before you and there are 3 more customers that have not even arrived that are ahead of you too ,So it is going to be a while". Now I am there on time. Yet you are going to take 4 more customers ahead of me that are not even there? This system is very flawed.Why even have this online check in at all. if you are not going to honor the time? Rude hair dresser needs to learn how to speak properly to customers.
