Chris' Hair Studio had some good reviews so I decided to take a chance, and I am really glad I did. I called and was told that there was an opening with Daniella in less than an hour from when I called, if I wanted to come in right away. Since I was long overdue for a hair cut I said yes. The location is just 5 mins from my house, which makes it super convenient. I arrived a few mins early and Daniella was easy for me. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxed and friendly; there were several other clients getting their hair done by other stylists. Daniella was very personable and pleasant, and I felt comfortable with her from the first "hello." She asked what kind of style I was looking for and listened well to what I had to say. Then she described her plan to achieve what I wanted. She gave me some lovely layers and really brought out the best in my wavy/curly hair. I am well pleased with the job that Daniella did on my hair. And the price was reasonable as well. The next morning I got up for work and noticed the back of my hair was not what was expected. So of course what yelped would do, you would post a review. The salon reached out, offered assistance. Samantha was the hairstylist that reached out. I couldn't get in due to circumstances coming up with unknown weekend plans with upcoming weekend off. I got ahold of her this morning and got in with her after going against my better thought of not going back in and well, I'm just gonna say, Samantha got ya girl right! She fixed everything and I am so happy with my hair now. I couldn't be anymore satisfied with my hair as I am right now.

Unfortunately, I left looking almost the same as when I arrived. The biggest change was a choppy layered haircut, which was not what I wanted. My highlights came out with a reddish/brassy tone. Even the stylist noticed the color looked too "chrome" while blow-drying my hair and asked to retouch it. The next morning, I also found several gray hairs that had not been covered, despite clearly discussing that this was important to me. I spent a little over $200 and did not receive the color, highlights, gray coverage, or haircut I requested. I am very disappointed with the result.

I was able to get my kiddo and I booked a week apart. My kid is a bit hesitant about getting his hair cut since other have not given the hair cut requested. But Sandy was great, heard everything we said and we had a inspo picture and we were happy with the turn out and we weren't there for along time which is nice. My hair cut and style was so nice and relaxing, Sandy was great my hair and style needed an update and always checked to make sure the length and what layers I wanted. It gave my confidence in Sandy that she cared for what I wanted and she did an amazing job. You can tell when someone is passionate about what they do and loves their job. Which was great, she saw my hair, talked about what she wants to do and agreed and double checked the appointment date and time. Appointment day, I was a couple mins late due but texted her to let her know and she was nice about it. Once I got there, she got too. Reaffirmed the look we talked about and got to combing my hair. Then she got the dye ready to go and started painting. Once the color, was on and we waiting on the timer. She was cleaning up and getting ready for cutting and styling. We talked about a lot of things, during this time and talked about doing my hair for an event. After washing, we also talked about shampoo and products. She noticed some things with me hair and gave me some suggestions. Once dried, she got to cutting and shaping. She knew what she was doing. She styled it beautifully and gave me tips on how to style. At the end, she ending up ordering products for me to pick up at a later date. Everyone loved my hair and new look. The process may have took almost 2 hours. But was worth it. Appointment only, but she accommodating.
