Not that I had high expectations for my finance's haircut but OMG this was the worst haircut he's ever had. Did the person cutting even have a license? It's questionable. He said he just stopped her BC she continued taking more off the sides. It's not even faded, there is just a cliff of hair that drops off. The sides were so uneven it was laughable. He came home and fixed it with his beard timer and will need to visit a barber soon. Shame on this place! read more

Update: Added a star because Brenda, the owner, reached out, apologized profusely, and let us know she would address the issue. Thank you Brenda for your courtesy and professionalism. While my husband and my son both look better than they did, the customer service was atrocious. They claimed not to be able to find the profiles, then suddenly the profiles were there but they didn't have the clipper numbers so they couldn't figure out how to cut their hair, when we asked for them to recommend a cut, the response seemed to be that we were unreasonable for asking for their input. We were told several times that they were in a rush and very busy but no one else was there and only two names showed up on the check-in list. However, 3 separate people showed up to pick up some lady's money that had been left there in exchange for some product she hadn't had time to acquire and deliver yet. We've always had great experiences with Great Clips but we'll stick to the Concord and Hooksett locations from now on. We will not be back to Keene again. read more

They should keep rules in the building. I asked for 12 inches off, because I planned to donate it. They used an in-house method to measure the length, saying their comb was 6in and doubled that. I got home and measured what they cut off and it was 18in. That's not little of, that's a LOT wrong/off. 6in is not an acceptable margin of error. I am in tears. My hair has not been this short since I was in middle school and I'm 25. Part of my identity is my long hair I love and pride myself in and I specifically grew it out so it would still be long even after I took a foot off to donate. It was past my butt/tops of thighs and now it is arm-pit length. I am so upset. I only needed 8in to donate in the first place. I just wanted to give a little extra, and now I am out over double the donation amount. If you go here with specific amount in mind, bring your own ruler. read more

I went early and there was no wait. The woman working there was very friendly and helped me get exactly what I wanted based on my reference photos, my opinion, and her own opinion. I am overjoyed with the result. She also helped me through some trouble with getting the transaction through. This was my first time having my hair cut short and I'm so glad I went here. It was a wonderful experience and I'll be sure to come back. $14 dollars for an incredible haircut. It was absolutely worth it. read more

I had a coupon for a $6.99 coupon here, so I decided to give this place a try. Normally, I go to supercuts and pay about $15 for a pretty good, if not fancy, haircut that I am always happy with. I wish now that I had just shelled out the extra $8 to avoid the disastrous cut I got at GreatClips! I tried to explain to the hairdresser when I sat in the chair about how I wanted my hair cut; I like to get layers but they must be easily bendable with the rest of my hair because I have very thin hair and if the layers are too starkly different, then my hair looks like a mullet. She must not have listened to a word of all that because she did exactly the opposite of this. She cut the bulk of my hair, maybe 60% into one really short layer and left the other 40% at least 5 inches longer than the one short layer. Needless to say, my hair really looks like a mess of a mullet now! The long hairs are so scraggly looking since they don't have any bulk to them, and the short hairs are so wavy since they are so much shorter than the rest of the hair. It looks just like Taryn Manning's hair from orange is the new black. I am a professional who needs to look presentable and clean on a daily basis, so needless to say this hairdo has really been a problem for me! I got my hair cut here about 1.5 months ago, and I am still suffering from the effects of this cut, and unfortunately my hair grows insanely slowly, so it will be a while until have the change to even it out a bit. I have worn my hair up in a bun every single day since I got my cut back in mid-august to hide the cut. The positive of the experience is that the staff was very friendly. No, the haircut was not good. Yes, I will probably spend the next 6 months trying to grow out my hair enough to fix the damage done by this cut, but I honestly don't think these people were trying to ruin my day. Perhaps they are just underpaid staff at a crappy corporate haircutting salon and can't muster the concern to do a great job analyzing which style will look good on each unique person's hair based on their natural attributes. But I DID try to explain in very plain language what I wanted! So I am left unsure of how this trainwreck came to be. Even though I wasn't happy with the haircut, I still tipped my hairdresser over 50% the cost of the haircut. I felt bad that she was probably making really low tips on $6.99 haircuts all day, and I honestly didn't realize the extent of the damage she had done to my head until I got home and examined it more closely. Don't get me wrong, SuperCuts is no high end salon in the fashion district, but they certainly do a better job with their haircuts. I'll take my business back there next time. read more

Worst place ever I had very very long hair till my ass they just chopped my hair to my shoulders. I asked for a layer cut and I got a kids hair cut. Very depressing for such a long hair like mine. I would Never ever suggest any female going there. Lot of my colleagues went there as well they had the same experience. Rather I would have gone to JC penny. My colleagues has same experience as well. I think it's good only for men. They seriously have no clue about the layer cut they have done a straight cut and too short one.
