Made a last-minute appointment at great clips. In Ludlow. I always get my haircut there.. however, this particular day, I had the pleasure of meeting Kathleen at the big Y Plaza, great clips, exceptional. She was the only one there besides another associate she took the time with me was very polite gave me an excellent haircut. The other staff member just was oblivious, another Customer walked in ... Kathleen took the time to greet her . The other styli that was there. ... ignored the other customer ...I'm not sure who she is. . again. I appreciate excellent customer service . . I was a walk-in and the older lady abruptly cut her coworker and I off, then proceeds to drop the f bomb in front of my face. All the personal questions they ask for checking in might be just the business model but it's still super weird and invasive nonetheless. Anyways the older lady was impertinent throughout the whole hair cut and had 0 compassion. I will not go again. read more

MANAGEMENT- shame on you for charging $18 for less than half an inch straight bang trim!!!! I usually get my bang trim from other Great Clips for $7. I was in the area and needed one bad so I went in. Told the young lady I just needed a quick bang trim. Then she told me "we don't do bang trim here without charging you $18." Seriously?!? I had no choice since o was already seated. Again, a very Simple straight less than half an inch bang trim that took less than 3 minutes to do. Yes, I timed her. So if I'm paying a full haircut I asked her to do a little trim to accentuate my face. BIG FAIL. No offense but I don't think she knew what she was doing. I was already upset with the service so when she asked if the trim was fine. I think the young lady sensed my quietness and seeing how busy it was in the lobby I could tell she didn't want to deal with me. So I told her it was fine when it really was NOT. She stopped and I left unsatisfied. I just had to get out! This place is a joke!!! Manager(s), I'm sure you don't care if you satisfy your customers or not. But you need to charge your customers accordingly and treat your customers better. read more

Brought my daughter in a couple days ago, the day before her birthday (about to be 4), and the lady absolutely BUTCHERED my kids hair. All I asked for was a couple inches off the back, and an angle cut in the front to keep some hair outta her face. I figured pretty basic. But obviously not for this "hair dresser". It looks like she got half her hair cut in the front, with absolutely no blending with the rest of her hair, not to mention she took way to much off. My kid moved a couple of times, but was very still for the most part so there's no excuse. Do not go here, and do not bring your kids here. Go to a real professional. read more

This went by too fast! If you want a really fast hair cut this is the place. At my normal hair dressers it takes like 20 minutes give or take and she takes her time, in this place it was like 5 minutes. I was Having anxiety the entire time. She did NOT take her time. Yes the price was low but the rushing was just not how I like my hair cuts. Also she cut off an extra inch from what we wanted. read more

This place made me sit with a 3 year old for over an hour. When other people that just walked in continued to be put ahead of him. It was completely ridiculous to the point where my son kept saying out loud, "when is it gonna be my turn?!" " I go next" "I want my haircutt please" will not be coming back here after this visit. My hair came out perfect (or as perfect as one can get given my head), and at 13 dollars one cannot, as the proverbs attest, go wrong. I was in and out without wait (granted it was 10 am on a weekday) and my hairdresser (unfortunately don't recall her name) was very pleasant and attentive to my request (very straightforward 'number 3 fade'). I walked in for shampoo and style and assumed I was to pay under $20 for wash and blow dry. It was $40 plus $3 for wash. What?!!! This made no sense. As I was in a hurry and was returning home from out of town trip, I too the hit. Never will I return. I will stick with cost cutters at $17 for was and style. This is NOT a high end place. read more
