The before and after of my beard trim clearly show how poorly that was done. The bottom of my beard is not level as well. Now, I can take a lot of pain, but I didn't think much of what my neck was going to look like until I got home. My son took pictures of what my neck looked like, a good 20-30 minutes afterward. While I was getting my hair cut, two other parties started lining up to get their hair cut too. This was my first visit, but it seems this place takes a lot of walk-ins first thing in the morning. Mei is a hair engineer. She knows how to deal with my thick Asian hair. I showed her where my hair was starting to stick out funny, and she explained both how she would fix it and how to style my hair if that starts to happen again. Unlike some discount hair cutters, she uses scissors to cut precisely, and more than a month later my short bob still looks pretty good. Mei delivers a very good cut, better than many pricier places I've patronized. It is, however, a discount hair cutter where most clients don't have their hair washed before getting it cut. I had Mei wash my hair after I had my hair cut for a small extra fee. Overall, an excellent value.
