I took my son here for a haircut and a shave. I can't remember her name but the stylist was so good at listening to him and communicating with him. The haircut was fantastic! The shave? Well I had called ahead asking to see if there was no wait. Was told there wasn't so went over to get a hair when I arrived was a 45 min wait. Name was not put on wait list. One of the barbers that was there was trying to help me find another place I can go ( I believe same person I talked to on the phone) then the manager ( I believe it was a manager or supervisor) cut in and rudely and snarky just stated " his going to have to do that himself" . So instead of still trying to be helpful and earn my future business (which was likely I been to that shop couple of times before already) decided to treated customer poorly. Would not recommend this store, being a service industry business, main portion of what you're paying for is for great customer service which apparently cannot be found here. read more

I went in for a hair cut. It was my first and last time ever going here. It started off well, I was greeted as soon as I entered but my hair cut was not satisfactory. It was completely uneven. I didn't even want to bother asking her to fix it because I didn't want my hair any shorter. It was a risk having her ruin it more so I just paid and left. Only doing five starts so EVERYONE sees this.. I went and got a haircut from this location I forgot the name of the lady who did my hair but she was the only Asian lady. Anyways! Asked her to thin my hair out, it's way thick! And she did that, but she thinned my hair all the way up to my scalp!!! I came in here because I had a coupon and thought I would try it out. When I first arrived one employee was washing another employees hair. The person cutting my hair ended up giving me a weird cut on the sides. I told her the left looked shorter than the right. I signed up for a shampoo and it was an uncomfortable wash. I had no towel on me so my shirt ended up getting wet. The shampoo is always the best part from for me and I didn't enjoying it at all. I wouldn't come back here again read more

I would give zero if I could. I walked in before closing time and was turned away because they were closing soon. I work in the service industry myself and know the universal rule, if a guest walks in before your posted closing time they should receive the same service as someone that walks in at any other time. If this is not how the management of this establishment views this, may I suggest they turn off the open sign. read more

Went in to buy some shampoo and conditioner for my dry frizzy hair. The girl told me that she used the great clips shampoo and conditioner. Her hair actually looked dry as shit and nasty so i dont know why I thought to buy the shampoo she used. Needless to say, I tried it. The shampoo and conditioner sucks. Made my hair super greasy, I continued using it thinking maybe it was supposed to be that way to hydrate. And now I have itchy, flaky scalp, with greasy hair. Terrible products. read more

That moment when all you need is some hair fixin's. They close at 5, you get there at 4:30. You know exactly what brand you want and would've been in and out in less then a minute... nope, they can't manage to stay open til 5 apparently. They literally locked the door and shut the lights off right as I was walking up to the door. As I looked at the lady and pointed to the "closed at 5:00" sign, she just waved at me and was like, "oh, sorry, were closed." Pretty pissed off. It's not like I showed up 2 minutes before 5:00. Hair trim was fine, hair wash was really good. I don't understand why they leave you to go out with a wet head and looking like a dork. I know they used to do a blow out and style, but now they just shuffle you out the door un-done! I think this is poor customer service. read more

This is John, I had a wonder full time at this Great Clips. The atmosphere in this store is great, I was greeted with a hello and welcome! I read two of the reviews ,one about buying shampoo and conditioner and was complaining about how the employees hair looked like hell and should have never bought the product. In another comment about having their hair washed and no towel on them and their shirt got wet, goodnight these people will survive. Maybe? NOW my experience, second time to the same hairdresser. Tricia is fantastic, she listened to me and when I asked for more to be cut off she had no problem with my request. We actually made a moment of discussion to use this hair cut as a art form. Cut some here cut some more there. Pleasant conversion also. Now if Great Clips is not for you [ Rodeo Drive] Beverly hills is just a short drive away. Please have a pleasant Great Clips day.
