I've been to this great clips many times now and I've always had a good experience. There's usually a minimal weight and you can check in online ahead of time. The stylists are always nice. I've had a few standard experiences and a few great ones. I've never gotten a bad haircut here (knock on wood). read more

Reallllyyyyyy tried to give them a chance. I just needed a trim and didn't want to spend $60 at my normal salon. Went back and forth on it until I finally decided to come here. The wait was short, stylist was kind and the cost was great. Unfortunately, though, my haircut was awful. I came in with natural hair (no heat products) and my hair is half wavy half straight. She sprayed the ends of my hair and started cutting. Didn't part in the middle, didn't wet my hair, I knew it was going to be uneven. Fortunately, I usually wear my hair parted in the same way. But when I got home and straightened my hair it was obviously uneven. I had to take scissors and cut pieces that I don't think were even touched. I can laugh because it's just hair but if you're like me, just spend the $60 for a full service and comfort of knowing what you'll be getting! read more

Haircuts here are hit or miss. If the older gentleman cuts your hair, he will pretty much give you exactly what you want without having to ask you a bunch of questions so I try to wait for him every time I come. Today, he was busy so I had my hair cut by an older middle eastern lady?, and she blatantly did not listen to what I wanted and kept doing what she felt like. She cut off about 8 inches of hair when I wanted like 3 or 4 off, and when I asked for a slight layer at the beginning of our conversation, she just went ahead and gave me it without asking if the length was okay. She'd already taken way too much off the long layer, so what should've been a shoulder length layer turned into AN EAR LENGTH layer. Plus she kept bumping her fingers into my face, she yanked out one of my earrings and I'm just so mad that she took off double the length that I asked her to. read more

Being a cosmetologist is a tough job, and a very dangerous job in a pandemic - so I have a ton of respect for them in a low pay-low benefit job. With that said, the last two hair cuts that I've gotten at this location have been the worst hair cuts I've gotten in my life (and I'm 70). So after going here for over ten years, I am determined to find a place that can give me a haircut that doesn't cause me to feel embarrassment in public. I go there every month because they give me a consistent haircut at a very good price. However, yesterday afternoon the stylists (about 4 of them) were having a loud, very public discussion about another stylist (who wasn't there) and how she didn't carry her work load. This discussion went on the entire time I was having my haircut and was quite obnoxious. The supervisor (if there was one there) should have stepped in and told them to take the discussion elsewhere. Ironically, the discussion about the stylist was how immature she was. Well, I'll add that the discussion was both immature and unprofessional. read more

The lady who cut my hair was named Van. I didn't know my clipper size so she was not happy. I said short, but not military style. She started with #3. I asked for a little bit shorter and she went to #1. She couldn't put it back on, so I got a military looking cut which I specifically said I didn't want. This lady had a very bad attitude and must have been having a bad day. My hair will grow back but she won't be getting another opportunity for my business. read more

been going to great clips for about 15 years, i quit going to one location due to the staff changing so much. been going here @ Kuykendahl for 5+ years. the last 3 visits have not been good. 1st the stylist smelled like they had been drinking. 2nd person didn't speak any English but did a great job. 3rd was the stylist from before and just did a quick snip snip. my hair was not cut even when they finished i fixed myself once i got home. don't think ill be going back to great clips anymore. read more

Awesome! With online checkin, we are always in and out. My boys and husband want different hair cuts, and each is in the computer system with their individual specifications (#3 on the back and sides and scissors on top - kind of thing). I love not having to explain what I want over and over again. I walk in, and they do it! Helen cuts my hair. I'm very picky, and yes, I've paid over $100 for hair cuts many times before.
