Gas station of hair salons like the magnolia one. These women have not been trained properly to do hair without screwing it up forever. This is what happened after they did my hair. This place is absolutely ridiculous, I would never go back here. I do not recommend anyone go here and get your hair done whether it's a cut or a color. The owner gave me a refund but refuses to respond to me or have any compassion that I had to shave my head. Zero stars. Super annoyed with this place. Requested....and PAID FOR a FULL Keratin treatment but instead they gave me the crummy little express treatment that didn't do jack for my hair. In fact, I think it's actually a bit worse now ~ more frizz. Just a mess. Definitely wouldn't go to this place for any type of Brazilian blowout or keratin treatment. I went in for a color with a wig piece to show the exact colors that I wanted. A very dark blonde with subtle light blonde highlights. What I got was one color only of a very light blonde. Absolutely nothing that I asked for. Now I have to find someone else to give me what I want, meanwhile keeping a very washed out ,unflattering color. I've been going to this same location for about 5 years. I decided to check it out since I was referred to Stephanie by a friend of mine. I was weary of coming since my hair is so thick and I've had plenty of bad haircuts/dyes in the past. I'm so happy I decided to come! My hair comes out amazing everytime! I called over the phone to book my appointment. They were very clear about various services/pricing. I'm always cautious about haircuts, so I was still a little wary when I got there. Apparently, I had no need to worry. I don't remember the name of my stylist - she had purple hair - but she was very clear about the length and process. She could tell I was nervous and did her best to put me at ease. I've had some pretty bad luck with getting hair cut slightly unevenly which is never noticeable until a few days after the haircut. My stylist was a perfectionist about this, and she triple checked everything. It's been over a month, and my hair is still nice and even. I love it! read more

I really liked this place the first time I went. Enough that I referred a friend who really liked them as well. Now, I had an appointment with Sara? (I believe). I arrived on time, and a little over 20 minutes later she still hadn't gotten to me, so I left. Why make an appointment if it's not going to be honored? Not sure if the gentleman before me had an appointment, but I'm unsure as to why his haircut and beard trimming interfered and took priority over my appointment time. I took our 3 year old today. We had a long wait before we were seated - understandably since going on a Sunday without a prior appointment is a bad idea. However I would expect them to acknowledge that we had to wait. Nope. Was a sign that the experience wasn't going to be worth our time or money. The communication with the stylist is best described as, well....at the bare minimum. She wasn't engaging, not making the little one at ease and abrupt and rough movements when handling the kid. Very disappointing experience with the Manager at this location. I've been having my hair colored professionally for probably close to 12 years and I've never had a worse experience than my encounter with Texas Hair Team 2920. I went in for an all over color and ended up with my roots being a much lighter (and different) color than the rest of my hair. It was noticeable to say the least and the stylist failed to mention this to me prior to me leaving the salon (I think she was hoping I wouldn't notice). Well I did notice about 5 minutes after leaving and I called in and scheduled a 2nd appointment 2 days later hoping they would fix the problem. 2 additional treatments later and I ended up with 3 different colors in my hair and all anyone could tell me was "I don't know what to tell you". They did offer to give me a refund but said they would have to 1st make sure it was okay with the owner but I should expect to receive a call if not by the end of that day (Wednesday) then by the end of business the following day (Thursday). Thursday came and went and no call. So I took the liberty of calling in on Friday only to be told the Manager wasn't in yet but they would have her give me a call by end of business. I received no call on Friday nor on Saturday. I did however receive a call on Sunday from my stylist telling me that out of the $77 that I paid for the color treatment & service I would only be receiving $47. Finding this to be utterly unacceptable I then asked to speak to a Manager only to be told the Manager wasn't available but would give me a call before end of business. Can you guess what happened? ....No call from the Manager. Then Monday came and went and STILL no call from the Manager. I called them on Tuesday to speak with a Manager in hopes of finally getting this issue resolved. Can you guess what I was told? ....The Manager wasn't available to speak with me. I was eventually called back (not by the Manager ...are we noticing a trend here?) saying they would refund me the $77 and I needed to bring my credit card up to their location. I did so that evening and again wasn't able to speak with a Manager. read more
