I've been going to this salon for well over 10 years for my hair. I'm 26 now and LeeAnn has unfortunately seen all of my hair phases but has given me the best experience, both personal and quality. She has been my go to every time all these years and I don't plan on changing that. I recently have been using the lash services at the salon and just WOW. First of all, I have fallen asleep both times I have tried this service because it is so comfy, peaceful, and the technician is so gentle. My lashes have been done for almost 2 years and I notice a HUGE difference between my previous lash studio and now here. My lashes before would look rough 2 weeks in and barely, could I make it at 3 weeks. Life happens so sometimes I'm a week late! I got my lashes done today at VP Salon and I was about 3 1/2 weeks from my first appointment here...my lashes looked like the end of week 1 with the previous place I was at. I really could have gone another week because they still looked SO nice but I can't trigger my ptsd with my lashes throwing up gang signs again. Best quality lashes and insane how long they last! I sat for another 20 minutes listening to a loud cackling stylist who could be heard in the next county; yet, no one spoke to me. Another woman arrived AFTER me and was promptly served next even though I HAD AN APPT., perhaps she had an appt before me but if she did she was late and no one said a word. I left stating it was clear they did not care nor want my business. I'm always very nervous to get my hair cut and when I went in I dint realy know what I wanted other then layers and highlight, my stylist was so friendly and helped me figure out what would look best on me. My mother and her friends all go here to get their hair colored while I really enjoy getting my haircut from Lee Ann. Awful horrible service!! The hair stylist gave me red hair!! All I wanted was an update to my blonde/brown roots . When I complained, I was forced to wait another 30 min as she claimed she was fixing it. Then when I still was unhappy to have red hair instead of blonde/brown, she said it would calm down in a week. I had asked the stylist to help me choose a color to dye my hair and we settled on a medium to dark brown with highlights, after they rinsed my hair and sat me back at the mirror it was blonde everywhere, the ends were a grayish blonde and the top was a weird yellow blonde and once I got home my family told me the back had strands that were whiteish and others had pink, left super disappointed and about $450 short and had to dye my hair at home that night because it was so bad. They also didn't trim my layers or cut off the dead ends like I had asked and cut off which seemed like less than a centimeter of hair. The experience there was also unprofessional, the lady doing my hair was doing her hair at the same time and was also training a guy using my hair without even asking for my approval and didn't even ask for my hair dye history or do any test strands. read more

I didn't want to do this.. I hate leaving bad reviews. But if my experience can help someone from my mistake then I hope I can save someone the trouble. I'm crying over how badly and horribly damaged my hair is. My hair is literally falling out in clumps in my hands! I've never had an experience like this. I am traumatized by how it all went. I wanted to believe all the wonderful reviews and I'm so easy to please but I got the short end of the stick, was ignored and forgotten for a majority of my appointment and even with a $55 hair treatment added, my hair is still fried and damaged beyond repair... I want to believe if the circumstances weren't what they were (covid leaving the salon EXTREMELY short staffed) then maybe this wouldn't have happened to me, maybe I wouldn't have been neglected and my hair would be fine. But unfortunately my hair is the one that is suffering.. My hair used to be thick and I will admit it was dry and I had split ends but now it's thin, damaged, feels like literal straw (my husband who knows nothing about hair or beauty compared my hair to a "cheap Barbie doll" hair!) and after running my hand through my hair, I've pulled out more than a handful of a hair ball. I cried. I don't know what to do to fix this. Please beware. read more

Y'all!! I was tired of my box dyed black hair and wanted to go to a purple hue. I've done this lots of times, but never from black. So trying to do it myself left me with pink roots, LOL. Not a big deal cause I could have just put black right over it, but I wanted a change. My boyfriend suggested this place because he his ex used to go here and since I have not really found a salon since moving here. I'm so glad he told me about it! Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side, I think I had a mild heart attack. HAHAHA LeeAnn did heavy highlights which left me orange & black - just in time for Halloween. Ha! Then she said let's put purple over it! 4 hours later, I have purple/red highlights over black hair and I love it! I've gotten a lot of compliments as well. I came here as a walk in to get balayage done. My first stylist was a different person here at Vintage Salon. She took about 3 hours to finish and didn't get the color I wanted. It was pretty brassy. But I decided to go back to Vintage to redo my hair because although I was a little disappointed, I liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately my stylist was no longer there but LeeAnn took over and I just enjoyed her company. LeeAnn only took 30 minutes, 3x faster! And she perfectly nailed the color I was going for. 3 months have passed since my visit and I am still so happy with my hair. I constantly get compliments for it, even when it looks like a birds nest (which is quite frequently since I am pretty lazy with brushing)! read more

Came in with already-pastel-pink hair, but 3 inches of roots, requesting a balayage to blend the pastel pink with my black roots, but came out of the salon with neon pink hair and streaky black roots instead. I can't be too upset about the neon pink color since I compromised with them and let them dye it neon pink because it would fade to a pastel pink after a few washes, according to them. I should never have compromised for the neon pink and instead requested a pink that was at-most a couple of shades darker than what I wanted because the fade was terrible and because I already know what it takes to maintain pastel pink hair color for months. So how did I leave the salon not realizing how badly they butchered my hair? They took and showed misleading pictures of my hair, convincing me that it looked good because it was shot at better angles. She also shamelessly asked me to leave a 5-star review on Yelp and Google. It wasn't until I took my own pictures and asked for others' perspectives that I realized she did a terrible job. I immediately requested for a follow-up appointment on their next business day to consult getting a color correction, but the stylist did not recognize her mistake and instead tried to convince me that she did a great job, citing that she's been around the world to take several classes on how to balayage. At this point, I had lost trust in their abilities, so I requested a color correction elsewhere and requested a PARTIAL REFUND, which she avoided giving by making excuses that I did not give her the chance to fix my hair. How can I risk getting my hair getting messed up again as well as damaged (from bleaching) a week before a special event? I should also mention that it took several phone calls to different salons to find one that would have an availability. Additionally, I've had to take time off of work to work around the stylist's schedule. DO NOT COMPROMISE. DO NOT go here for BALAYAGE. Costs too much ($400) and more for color correction $(500) elsewhere. read more

Visited the salon for the first time yesterday. Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were able to accommodate me on the same day so that was definitely a plus. I have long hair so I was sure to ask for someone that is experienced with that and I was booked with LeeAnne. Upon arrival, parking was a breeze as was finding the location. The salon is beautifully appointed and I was greeted by friendly staff at front desk. I explained to LeeAnn what I was hoping to achieve, which for me was a trim off of the split ends, keep the length, and maybe do some layers around my face to frame it. She nailed it. Friendly and warm, her demeanor put me at ease immediately and I felt I was in good hands. Not only is my blonde brassy and orange, she rushes the process constantly looking at the door to see if someone else is arriving and burned my forehead with the hair dryer.
