Fraudulent advertising. Posted a $12.99 haircut coupon on national TV. When you download, it takes you to the local store. Oops!! This owner doesn't accept corporate coupons. They don't tell you that until you are checking out. Just an okay haircut. Owner can't keep staff due to poor pay and working conditions. Vanns is so much better! read more

They do a good job. My cut holds its shape. Staff is very pleasant. No coloring, though.

I was desperate for a haircut and didn't want to wait for an appointment at a salon, so I went to Great Clips on SSI. They were able to take me in right away which I was grateful for. They put me in the chair, several sprays of water which only dampened my top layer and made one continual cut across the bottom. The stylist never checked to see if the line was even close to being straight, please see below picture. She never trimmed my layers. Literally one cut along the very bottom of my hair and said ok you're done. She turned the chair around and held up a mirror so I could see the massacre. I politely told her it was perfect and thanked her. I was terrified what style I would walk out with if her scissors touched my hair again. I could only imagine the nightmare if she tried to fix what she had done. The entire haircut was about 1 minute long. I'm not leaving this review looking for a refund or to go back to have it fixed (never again letting any of them near me again). I just hope they can inspire their stylists to have pride in their work or at least hire qualified stylists. Waking around like this is pretty embarrassing.... read more

We randomly stopped in to see if they had time to do my one and a half-year-old sons hair. He hates haircuts and screams. Robin immediately said she was up for the task and she was amazing throughout the whole process. She made him feel so comfortable that he I only cried intermittently and no screaming! I've had hit or miss experiences with great clips having been to locations all over the country. I'm working here temporarily from Ak and gave this one a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. Great Clips Leeann just cut my hair, and it looks great! I will be back! I was in a rush , so washed my hair at home, and got an appointment online in 7 minutes! She took me as soon as I got there, but another gentleman was in a rush , so I let him go first! She was very pleasant, and did a nice cut! 14$ for a senior over 65, plus tip! I went home to blow dry my own hair, to use a new hairdryer! I think it is another charge to wash your hair, and blow dry! The services and cost are listed online! read more

There's is only one person there qualified to cut hair. If you wish for your hair to look subpar at best this is the place for you. Ask for Charity or don't bother going. read more

Integrity matters. I have never given a 1 star review but I just left this location after trying to get my daughter's haircut. I brought her there right before it opened and joined the line outside thanks to #Covid. A man took everyone's name on a clipboard and we were 7th. I spelled out her name for him and asked how long it would be. He said 40 min so we walked over to the grocery store. Came back after 30 min and they were sitting the man in front of us so I knew we were next. The lady informs me that I didn't give them my phone number so we are now at the back of the line. I told them that he didn't ask for my phone number and he was the one filling out the clipboard! I gave him every piece of info he asked for-- And I see our name is the very next one on the list!! When I brought that up, the lady says "Sorry we are slammed and you didn't give your number." Seriously??? That is not 1% my fault and I'm being penalized. FOLLOW THE LIST YOU MADE. I'm not a confrontational person so I wasn't about to make a scene but I firmly believe you reap what you sow. Integrity matters. read more

I took my son (12) and I in to get us both haircuts. We checked in online to avoid the wait just like always. When we arrived the staff were extremely courteous and we got right in. My son went first. A stylist named Becky started to cut my sons hair and it didn't take too long before I realized that something wasn't right. The protocol normally is to look at the notes from the last time he got a haircut and follow those notes. She did not. She asked me how I would like it and I said off the ears and parted to the side using a number 4 on the top and scissors on the sides. When she was finished with my son his bangs were crooked, his sideburns were uneven, and the back was butchered as well. Honestly, I could have cut his better than that (and i don't cut hair!) I told her to fix it and she tried but, it still was the worst haircut ever. Mine wasn't any better. Fast forward two months. We went back and tried to get haircuts again and Becky was there. Believing in second chances we went with her again. I am afraid to say that the result was the same! I am deeply concerned at the level of experience of some of the staff. A few days later when I went back to complain the manager gave me a credit but, I don't know if I'll ever go back. What a shame. read more

I went yesterday to the st simons location to have my sons hair cut. It was his first haircut ever, so of course he wouldn't know what to think or how to react, and we didn't know how he would react either. Our stylist, Caryn, was VERY unprofessional and rude the entire time. She was constantly rolling her eyes, shrugging, sighing obnoxiously, and was constantly making sly remarks. I made the comment that I understood the haircut wouldn't be perfect, because he is a baby and I am a hairstylist myself so I get it, for her not to worry too much about it. She quickly cut me off and said "Well why wouldn't you just do it yourself??? Just curious." In a very rude tone. She knocked his puffs out of my hand (that I had to distract him while she cut his hair) then kicked them across the floor making them spill everywhere, and had the audacity to say "Great, we're making a huge mess over here." She also kept staring at my family (who waited OUTSIDE the salon) and side eyed them and rolled her eyes at them the entire time. I understand that babies are hard to work with, but it was my baby boys very first haircut. I didn't "do it myself" because I wanted to enjoy that experience with him and be the one to hold him so that he would stay calm for the person who was doing the haircut. Not only did she have a very crappy attitude, but she ruined that experience for us. I hope she finds another career, because as a hairstylist I can say that truly that is not how you should treat any client EVER. As for the rest of the staff, they were very kind and greeted us with smiles. Looking back I should've asked for someone else instead of her the first time she made a rude remark. She also did a very bad job on the actual haircut. I didn't expect it to be perfect, but she made it clear that she was being lazy and sloppy just to get us out of her chair quicker.
