Melissa has been the worst experience I have had in years of haircuts, from her unprofessionalism and unwillingness to understand to her lack of hesitation. I had shown an image and was clear on how I wanted layers. First, she hadn't checked if my part was even, which even the most amateur hair stylist knows to do. Second, she cut my long, thick hair that had taken years to grow without asking and completely ignored what I wanted. When it was clear this was not what I had asked for and I was upset, she barely responded and showed no remorse. I have been going here for years but today was my last time. I registered online as always came in and sat for 15 minutes no one said a word to my about whether I needed to wear a mask or not. But when they called my name she pulled out a mask and demanded I put it on. I told her I had my shots she said I'm sorry sir you must wear a mask. That's when my country boy came out. Where I went in to get a haircut like I've always done... don't know but one the two here(they switched them out so much) Jessica 1st time seeing her last time came she cut my hair last time when I told it said no guard I said it's supposed to say triple zero on the sides and back she did not update it and she told me she had a triple zero I found out today she does not have a triple zero she just told me that the other stylist don't have a triple zero either why are you a barber if you're not going to have the correct guards but the reason I'm putting this complaint in again it's because Jessica lied to me last time said that she used the triple zero when I told her that does not look like a triple zero she said oh yes it is when was not and sure enough now I'm back before usual and find out because the stylist I went to this time asked her if she had a guard find out she does not have one never has she just told me she did last time and just straight lied. I tip good over $5 every time standard haircut.. for them to get to the point that they're just lying to you to get you to come in there anyway because they're too cheap to buy the correct equipment it's time to shut it down....... Great clips used to be good now it's going down hill! OMG. I paid $60 for a cut last weekend that was uneven and choppy. I called Mitzi and she squeezed me in. She fixed my layers and blended everything. No more choppy layers and my hair lays beautifully. I will definitely be back. Thank you Mitzi. read more

I have had a great experience so far with two people I always use to have my haircut from. Today both of them were out and Ingot a haircut from somebody else. It's a disaster. No bangs, messed up side locks and what not. I am not sure if I wanna go back again. I have to tell that better be sure who you are getting haircut with before you step in. Im from Dallas and in Tyler for a few months on business. I went to get a quick haircut. I was a little hesitant because I have had the same stylist for years. Misty cut my hair and she was AWESOME. I am picky and she was patient with me and she didn't let me leave until my haircut was just what I wanted. While I'm in Tyler I will make sure I book an appointment with Misty every time. Horrible experience. I checked in and sat down for a haircut. I waited about 25 minutes to be called. Meanwhile others who came in after me were getting called up to get serviced. I should point out these were NOT appointments, but also walk-ins. I was told they were regulars which is why they were being served first. After everybody else was finished, two stylists sat down and started talking. At this point I asked if I could now have my haircut since nobody else was waiting anymore. They replied, "we are waiting for someone". Mind you noone else was actually sitting and waiting at this point, so who ever they were "waiting for" had not arrived yet. I just got up and left. If they do not service those who are not regulars until very last, they need to point that out or put it on a sign somewhere. Will not be going back. read more
