I just had the worst hair cut I've ever had. I have been going to great clips for years. Always had reasonable results. Some great, some just ok. Today I asked to have 3/4" cut off all over. She pulled my hair up revealing about 1/4". I said no, 3/4". She said "that is 3/4" and pulled out her comb and showed a 1" mark on it. Then proceded to trim 1/4" off my hair. After about 10 snips she asked me if that was good. Really, are you done? "Yes" she said. I said "Let me out of here". I'm told she is the new manager. I guess i have to find a new salon. read more

Whoever cut my child's hair needs to go back to school or don't work on kids heads period! They left his hair completely uneven, short on one side and long on the other. Not to mention it's so high up, I can't even explain how absolutely horrible it looks. My husband has to essentially shave his head now because it's completely unfixable. Rude location they didn't want to work on my kids hair. I was asking this lady with lip fillers & red hair - didn't get her name, what she maybe THOUGHT my kid would look good in it like what type of hair Style.. aren't they supposed to have a consultation before going on to cutting. My haIr isn't the right hair for this cut, too long, too stringy, too flat. She seemed angry to me. I left with a shorter version of what I came in with. A year later and I have been to this location once a month since. Up until last month I had the same stylist every time which was nice, she knew exactly what I wanted and we got each other. Last month a different stylist that I had seen there every time as well, she also did a great job. This weekend, I had not seen any of the 3 stylists before, but again a good job in less than half an hour. My daughter's stylist Patty, this past Saturday and Patty did not do anything that my daughter requested, my daughter claims she was rude and critical, and she cut her hair about 2 inches shorter than she requested and she left her sides long, basically my daughter said she gave her a "Karen" style.. Why? Was it personal.. Who knows.. Poor service I wish I knew more detailed before I left the tip.. My daughter was very upset, what really blew me away was she didn't know how to do a French braid. I think it should be a requirement for hair stylist to know that. My daughter had to work that day. Was the reason for the request. She will never go there again. Now, I've had budget shop cuts, $300 Beverly Hills cuts, and everything in between. But the cut I got from Lena that day is the best ever. Seriously. I've never had a hair cut that didn't require at least some, if not an hour's worth of styling. For the first time ever I can wash my hair, towel dry and comb, and add a little styling lotion and IT LOOKS GREAT. It looks even better styled and will hold the style 2 or 3 days. I wish I'd found Lena in my working years. It would have meant so much extra sleep in the mornings. Lena doesn't just cut layers, she cuts them correctly so they lay right and look great. Connie cut my hair and she did an awful job. My hair was just an inch past my shoulders and I asked for her to trim it sitting right on top of my shoulders. Instead, she cut off about 3 and 1/2 inches, and gave me a bob. My hair is now my chin length, and I have very thick hair so it looks extremely chunky and ugly. My boyfriend asked for his hair to be cut a certain way. All the gal did was cut his ponytail off. No styling, no blending. When he said he wasn't happy she just said that was what he told her... which he DID NOT!!! I could have cut his ponytail and saved the money if that's what he really wanted. Poor app- When I left home the app was showing that I had 16 mins wait time from the 70mins I started with. When I arrived the app now showed 38 mins?? When I checked in I was told that I had 35 min wait. Reason provided for the extended wait time was that one of the stylist left for lunch. So, you are telling me Great Clips invested on a new app but not on a scheduling program for employees to take scheduled lunch and break times that the app is able to use to anticipate wait times.
