In a strip mall, the service was acceptable given the price and quick service. I think I came at the end of an unexpected rush as they seemed ready to just close up for the day. Their systems work efficiently as well to sign in. I understand paying more for a hair wash but they actively discouraged it and then barely wet down for the cut. She listened to my options and concerns and I felt genuinely valued. She was personable and polite. She made me feel calm and confident. My sister and I popped in here on Saturday, June 22 as our other sister was getting a manicure at another shop in the plaza. Both of us wanted our hair trimmed. We were in town for the weekend to attend a family graduation party. We were greeted as we entered the salon. Our wait time was very short. The stylist who washed and cut my hair barely spoke to me throughout the entire time I was there. When I asked for suggestions for bangs or length, she really was no help, saying, "It's up to you." I realize that it was Saturday morning and an inexpensive haircut but it wasn't that busy. I felt rushed and very uncomfortable. My trim turned out nicely, hence the three stars. While my cut was good, the overall experience was was lackluster for me. My sister also had her hair trimmed. The stylist chatted with my sister the whole time my sister was sitting in the chair. My sister told her we had come up from Florida to get our hair trimmed. I heard both the stylist and my sister laugh at that remark, which was in stark contrast to the stylist who cut my hair and said very little to me. My sister was happy with her trim. read more

I've been to other locations because the price is good and usually the service is good too. However, me wife and I got our hair cut here and both agree it's the worse hair cut we've ever had. They failed to blend nicely so my hair just kids shabby now. When using the razor on the sides, they kept letting it snag and pull hair. Maybe because the blades need to be sharpened My wife's hair is also uneven and clearly rushed. They weren't super busy, but it still felt like they had no time to actually focus on quality. The "stylist" if you can even call her that was extremely rude and unfriendly. I have been coming to this location for 2 years now, guess I won't be returning and will go strictly to Sal's. Didn't blend my sides right and proceeded to argue with me about how my hair doesn't bend. You know the stylist is really bad when she uses the clipper and cuts your hair sideways. Didn't even bother cleaning up after I told her I will go home and fix it myself. Some people shouldn't be working in an industry to faces other people and she was definitely one of them. Not so GREAT. I've gone to this place a few times and have received advice on getting a "micro-trim" to continuously grow out my hair. I've since attended 2 times 4-6 weeks apart with the advice of Stephanie (she was kind and lovely to work with). A trim is intended to clean up split ends- that's it. Well- TODAY WAS MY THIRD time and wow do I regret it. Needless to say- Stephanie was NOT the one who cut my hair, it was Relle. Plot twist- Relle absolutely is terrible at cutting hair, careless, and doesn't give a fuck to keep her job. Here's my experience and observations: I specified I wanted a micro trim from the start(like I've done that past 2x). She showed me roughly 2 inches of hair that wouldn't need to be cleaned up. From previous experiences- I thought naturally- she would wet my hair- start bit by bit since my hair is long, and take her time to use a thin comb to straight out my hair before cutting it. Taking one inch from the bottom and another inch when putting-in long layers.... NOPE. She started with DRY trimming my hair in 4 inch sections (length). Gives me a round bob-cut- shoulder length and says "that's it..." Im baffled at this point, because literally it can't get any worse. But wait... I ask her - "eh what about the long-layers, etc. my hair is curly. Her response, "Well, you didn't have any, so.." Me: "Well, I don't want a 'triangle shaped' hair cut." Her response, "I don't know what you mean...?" -______- She proceeds with again, using a wide tooth comb- ripping my hair as she combs through it- and continues to snip snip, as she's evening out her shitty, poorly don't hair cut. Halfway through the haircut she decides to inquire about my curl pattern( it's really too late by this point, my hair is fucked). Had she wet me hair like every OTHER STYLIST IVE EVER HAD- she would've seen the curl pattern. Cutting dry poofy hair- oh yeah- it's uneven and I let her know, "I don't think it's even..." Her response, "It's even." I wasn't going to fight her- I was ready for this night mare to be over. I was so upset- I went back later that day to get a refund. SURPRISE- they don't give your money back for a shit experience and a shit haircut. Needless to say- zero experience, extremely poor listening skills, zero professionalism or care for her job. "Oh weren't you here earlier today?," she says as she's chilling on a chair. "Yep." I proceeded to tell he all of the above, clearly upset by the situation. Zero responsibility. And her response was "well I showed you how much I was going to cut off... and you said yes..." YES TO 6 inches of my hair- homie? Fuck no I did not. Oh my bad, girl, you got poor listening skills and it's my fault for trusting you to know wtf a micro trim is, or trusting you- the professional- to explain one damn thing you plan on doing, etc! I left feeling beyond upset. This girl literally butchered my hair like she genuinely didn't give a fuck about her job. Half the time she was staring out into the atmosphere. Clearly didn't see my hair had layers. -____- My fault in this was I was: a. too nice to not get up 2 seconds from sitting down b. giving her a benefit of the doubt c. Giving her a $3 dollar tip when she deserved none. Lesson to learn: get the FUCK up if you don't vibe or feel comfortable with your hairstylist. Period. read more

Hit or miss. I visit this location sometime and find it is all depending on stylists. I checked in on my phone yesterday with 18 minutes waiting time. When I got there actually nobody else was present. Stylist was at the register taking her time to do whatever she was doing. She ended up cutting my hair asking me 3 times if I really want it that short which was only about 2.5 inches short. I was annoyed but tried to be patient explaining that I wanted to get a haircut but hadn't had time. She finally said ok and cut that length on my right side and asked me one more time if it was ok. I confirmed and let her do her work. While I closed eyes, she finished and showed me she added layers as I asked. I wasn't satisfied but I didn't expect much from inexpensive haircut. It looked not too bad when it was still wet. However, at home after washing and drying my hairs, I noticed that my left side was longer than right side. I got so frustrated. I called them next day but nobody answered. I checked waiting time online and found out no chat was there that time. I just went by to ask if I could get trim. It turned out that There were 5 people already. Stylists were both busy. I just checked in on my phone and waited for about 38 minutes. Finally my turn came. It was 40 minutes before closing time. I wasn't greeted with hello but was asked if I checked in so I answered yes and gave her my name. I think my hair looked horrible to both stylists. They looked at me while I was sitting there. As professionals, they probably could tell something was wrong. When I finally got to talk to a stylist by saying "I was here yesterday ", she immediately answered "I will fix it." When she flipped my back hairs, she was in shock but didn't tell me details. I asked if it was disastrous. She just answered "I will fix it " and quickly trimmed, made my hair even and added more layers so I felt much better. I was wondering about payment afterwards, but she said "you are fine." Her name is Leah working on Sundays. It is so frustrating that hair stylists' level is all different and some are really bad. I think this place is fine for fast and easy men and kids haircut, but not ladies. I would give one star for the first stylist but added two more for the one who fix my hair. I wish I didn't waste my time. Well, it is time to find another salon I guess. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here today so he could get his hair cut. They had a line of people and only two people working. We only had a 15 minute wait and spent about 10 minutes on doing his hair after he sat down. The stylist did an amazing job, was friendly, and took the time to make sure my boyfriend got the cut he wanted. Overall experience was awesome. Friendly staff working at the time and great service. Will be returning often. Cuts now are $14 and worth that and the $5 tip we left for the stylist. read more

The owner did in fact reach out to me and offer an apology. Not only that, but she invited me to come back for a free haircut. I took her offer, and returned today to get my haircut. Lisa was awesome. Highly recommended. She did exactly what I asked and that's all I wanted from the start. I paid for my haircut, as getting a free one was never my intention. Unfortunately though, the same 2 women from my previous experience were working as well. The reason I didn't bump my rating to 5 stars is I don't really care to listen to the gossip. So, having to listen to one of the other women complain they don't like working with someone else is annoying. The hair stylist cut my son's ear and then blamed him for the entire event. After that she called him a baby for crying. My son is six and in first grade. He was more upset after being called a baby than actually getting his ear sliced into. The stylist took no responsibility at all. I left furious and they still expected me to pay. read more

I am giving 3 starts for its convenient hours and location. Customer service defintely needs improvement. The stylist who was working on my hair must have had a really bad day. She made several comments that made me feel very uncomfortable. I still gave her a good tip at the end of my hair cut because the hair cut only cost 15 dollars. I've been coming to great clips for a while now and never had a problem until today and it will be the last time I go to this location. They have my notes in their from my previous hair cuts. It says a 2 on the sides and back, trim on the top, and a hard part. It isn't a 2 on either side, maybe a 3 on the left side and the right side looks like it was barely touched. I don't even understand how that happens. The hard part is weak, it was just a bad hair cut that I may need to go back to a different location today to actually get a hair cut because this is not what I asked for what so ever. I should have realized it when that was the quickest hair cut I've ever had, she clearly rushed through it and did an awful job. So now I have to go out of my way to a different location to actually get my hair cut. Paying 30 dollars for a cut now because someone is incapable to do their job. read more
