Been coming to Venice for 31 years and was kicking ourselves wondering why we didn't do this sooner! Captain Jenn was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable about all of the areas, could answer all our questions, gave history and insights along the trip, all while being incredibly kind and thoughtful of our comfort. She went above and beyond to make sure we got to see what we wanted to, give us a few surprises, and had the best attitude. It felt like a family friend taking us out on the boat. While every outing could be different, on this day we got to see dolphins up close, many birds nesting, got to pull up on a key for some beach time, shelling and shark tooth hunting, and loads of sight seeing! We had a celebration of life at sunset for my Dad. It was beautiful. Captains Jenn and Eric were just wonderful. They were so friendly and tentative. They provided flower pedals and a certificate of burial at sea. The certificate has his name, date and coordinates of the location. We love it! We had such a wonderful day with Eric and Jenn! We originally thought we would rent a pontoon boat and do a self guided tour of the area, but in retrospect we don't know what we were thinking! We had no problem getting a last minute tour set up with Captain Jen. My husband, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour and the fact that it was a more personal experience than if we had been on a boat with numerous other people. Great Day is the absolute BEST!! If you're going to do anything on your trip to Venice- make it this!! My family and I did a sunset cruise and it was truly a night to remember. Captain Jenn and Eric were absolutely amazing!! They did everything in their power to make sure we were all comfortable and having a fun experience. They are amazing people and we are all so glad to have shared this experience with them. On the cruise, they bring you near an island that has many exotic birds, areas where dolphins feed, and of course to perfect views of the beautiful sunset. We had a fabulous time with Captains Jenn and Eric. They are delightful, naturally friendly people who love taking people out on the water. From arranging a time (and changing it because of stormy weather), Jenn's communications were prompt and thoughtful. The ride itself thrilled my visiting college friends: dolphins, sea birds, lovely houses, and even crew teams were some highlights. Eric and Jenn are also divers and know SO much about the Gulf and local bays. The boat is super stable and ridiculously comfy, too. Today was a perfect day to cruise the intercoastal, up to North Jetty in Nokomis, then out on the Gulf up to Sarasota, FL. Captain Eric and Captain Jenn provided such a wonderful excursion experience for our group of friends. They are a beautiful couple who are eager to share their love of the flora and fauna in the area. Spoonbills, pelicans, heron, egret, and ospreys are some of the birds we saw on 'bird island'. We also were thrilled to see several dolphins and tons of gorgeous beach properties. We stopped for lunch and were able to hop out of the boat onto the sand bar. Their boat was spotless. Went out on the boat lst Sunday and had a GREAT DAY! My friend and I enjoyed a plasant cruise down to Stump Pass in Englewood to see the boat races. Captain Eric put us right on the beach to see the race boats coming from the pits with helicopters flying around overhead, and we had a BLAST! It was my friends first time on the boat and he had no problems. We brought a cooler full of drinks and snacks, got to socialize with other boaters at the race for a few hours till we had to head back home.
