We booked a 3 hour tour and ended up getting about 2.5 hours and still were charged the full time. Hayden was our guide for the morning. We got a basic tour of the intercoastal waterway of Casey Key- we were expecting to go out on the gulf but didn't- I guess we needed to be more specific of our expectations and that's on us. Despite the red tide conditions my 3 kids was wanted to tube behind the boat and they got to spend a fair amount of time doing that. We stopped at snake island which was nothing to write home about. We were fortunate to see a pair of dolphins which is always a sight to see! The guide was nice enough but the overall trip just didn't seem to be worth the rate we paid plus the tip. read more

We hosted a bachelor party with capt Carl. I wanted something unique and fun, I called capt Charlie and he suggested the tiki bar hop, they were so much fun and helpful, picked up my whole crew in Venice and took an hour boat ride more of a nice cruise up the gulf, amazing views and with two huge coolers full of fun the whole trip was a blast. Best bachelor party idea ever, was perfect in every way, thank you Carl and Charlie.. Great memories from our trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.. read more

Great job by Captain De on an absolutely rough sea day! We had tough seas for the better part of the day and one of our party did not do well (note to self carry rx next time!). Captain De worked diligently seeking a balance between calmer waters but trying for us to get some "FISH ON". By day end everyone on the boat caught several keepable snapper as well as some grouper and shark that we couldn't keep. Captain Di was willing to help at all times baiting lines, untangling lines (sorry!) and taking off our fish. He is truly one of those who just loves what he does so much he would probably do it for free if he could! Even then his rates are MORE than reasonable. We look forward to another trip! Note however, you better book fast as once he is discovered his calendar will fill fast! read more

This two-hour sunset cruise was magical. The intercoastal waterway was so beautiful it could do nothing less than make your heart skip a beat. During the cruise two dolphins followed us for a while curious about the boat and the people on it. The sunset was like an anthem to the earth and all its wonders. People gather on the rocks to watch this ordinary event making it feel extraordinary. As the sun sets the images of those standing on the rocks darken and become sepia-like making the experience feel almost ethereal - like experiencing an encounter from another age. The rates for the cruise increased, but we were credited for the excess amount since the company was true to it word about the price that was quoted to us. So you can both trust this enterprise both on and off the water. And don't forget the restaurant which is on premises providing the ambiance of a small water town and great food. read more

Charlie took my family and I out on a two and a half hour ride the other morning, from Casey Key and went north through the intercostal waters. It was the BEST! Charlie was so knowledgable about the area and the history (very educational), as we learned he was raised just a few miles inland and has known these waters forever. And then we saw a pod of dolphins, and they followed and played around our boat for at least 15 minutes! It was the neatest thing. Charlie also knew a few of the dolphins from the tags on their fins and gave us a little history on how they were introduced to Sarasota. Very, very cool (I'll post a video to this page). Captain Karl took us out for a relaxing 2 hour cruise around the ICW. We saw sea birds and dolphins. We landed at a sand bar so we could explore, swim, and even did some fishing. We had a great time. This is a great, low-key activity and good for kids and small groups. And the price is reasonable compared to other excursions we've looked into. Highly recommend this! read more

The water taxi is one of the best times we've had on a boat in years. We took the water taxi to Sarasota on New Years eve. We were able to bring our own drinks and snacks for the trip. Captain Charlie and First Mate Deb dropped us right on the dock of Marina Jacks, we had dinner, drinks and enjoyed the fireworks and some dancing. The return trip down the coast was the best taxi ride home you'll ever have on New Years. If there were six stars I would select them all. read more
