It has a very nice shop inside where the smell of coffee is strong from grinding their own beans in house. I loved it and the vibe instantly. It has an old time feel which I love. The server was super nice and helpful in answering my wife and I's questions. I love that they serve lunch. I had a delicious tortilla soup while my wife enjoyed a panini, also delicious. My wife enjoyed a chocolate espresso, different ingredients than a mocha, while I enjoyed a chai latte. Both great and served very hot in a mug. Speaking of hot, the day was only mid 60's, but due to the many windows, which does bring beauty and good light into the shop, it was quite hot and stuffy inside, yet too cool to eat outside. I can't imagine how it feels on a hot day. The barista said the AC was on, but we couldn't feel it. They need to invest in some of those large ceiling fans Placed throughout the shop. That would do it, I think. Otherwise, we very much loved our experience there.

There were about 6 people in the shop, but it was so quiet, I was afraid to talk to my wife. The Dirty Chai Latte I ordered was nothing special, so I'd only really come back to be surrounded by books. But since most of the books aren't my Genre, It's less likely that I would. So, I chalk this one up to an experience. It's not a bad one, it's just one that's not for me.

I've posted a pic of their Buddy Board where patrons can donate money that various types of public servants can draw upon for their order. What great idea! I've read about such things and this is the first one I've personally encountered. I donated to first responders and healthcare since I have loved ones in those categories. DOMA roasts their beans and sources them from around the world, offering a variety for all palettes. Seasonal drinks find that not-overly-sweet balance where you can really taste the coffee. They are located in the same shopping center as Super 1 and Ace Hardware. I like their coffee bakery shop is to the left of the parking lot and has ample spaces to park. The shop itself is very big and spacious. It includes lots of room for seating for different party sizes. The selection of pastries, breads and drinks make this an excellent place to visit. The prices are also very reasonable. I did also take the beginner sourdough class and had a great time. It was a small group and the instructor (owner) really took the time to answer questions, discuss methods and helped us perfect the techniques. Class took us through every step of the process and we got to go home with a starter and a loaf we cut. Since then I have made my own loaf using what I learned and it came out perfect. This is one of the best hands on classes in the area.

Gosh how I hate to leave bad reviews - but the truth is the truth…read more We tried this spot a few weeks ago - it was an afternoon ..... we grabbed an apple fritter and a cake donut. They both were oddly dry and the flavor was kinda off - we decided it must be due to the late afternoon and were willing to give it another try. We stopped by yesterday to grab two coffees and two donuts. The apple fritters looked SO good - I mentioned to the young lady working the inside counter "oh man - we tried an apple fritter a few weeks ago and it wasn't very good" we discussed that they looked so delicious so we I decided to give the fritter another shot and grabbed one and my husband grabbed an old fashioned. As the young lady was getting our coffees I reached in and broke a piece off of the fritter and took a bite - yep ... it was much more fresh but the flavor was just off again. I decided I'd grab a different donut and chalk it up to the fritters just not being to my liking. I had not paid yet - so when the young gal came back with coffees I said "I'm going to get another donut - I tried the fritter and I don't like it" and ordered a cronut - I was told "You still have to pay" - I was taken aback as I didn't imply nor state I didn't want to pay- I wasn't expecting anything for free - the fritter wasn't to my liking and I wanted something else - I never asked for anything for free and had no intention of getting a "free donut" - it not in my wheel house to try to finagle a free couple buck donut. I gladly paid my bill - sadly I didn't tip because the interaction was offensive - walked out the door and tossed the apple fritter in the trash. Needless to say - we are still on the hunt for a new donut spot. My husband did say the old fashion donut was decent - he mentioned maybe they use a different kind of oil and that's why the donuts taste "different" to us - and the cronut was okay but again the flavor is just a bit different. All this first world problems over a fritter - it's really just a lesson that not everybody that doesn't like your fritter wants something for free.
