I wanted to mention it because I genuinely enjoy this place and would hate to see it start following the same practices that frustrate customers at other coffee shops. Whenever I can't get enough of the Silicon Valley, Tesla driving, $25,000.00 bicycle riding, waterfront Lake CDA vacation estate crowd, the Cali types with egos that dwarf all, Doma is where I go. Like wine swilling Napa Valley snobs, you can easily get an earful of leftist, feel good buzzwordery from both sides of the counter. "Fair Trade" "Shade Grown" "Renewable Farming" "Repurposed" "Feel the Bern" and "Oh yay como va!", I mean, this place is about the alpha and omega of yuppie watching heaven. Gawd. Their coffee is okay if you like the bitter side of the spectrum - very reminiscent of the green beans we'd grind in Antigua. But, seriously, nowhere outside of Berkeley, California will you find a more Bay Area coffee clatch. If you dig that scene, this spot is no doubt gonna be a sweet little oasis for you, a respite from the beauty that is North Idaho. He was very helpful and willing to discuss the possibilities to help me land on my drink of choice. He proceeded to make me the best "dirty chai" I have maybe ever had. The chai is sourced from a small business in Bend. It was a perfectly spiced blend. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. It was so delicious I went back for another the next day. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was.
