They carry a great selection of books, stationary, and even their own merchandise. I found the books to be priced pretty normally, following MSRP. I was greeted pleasantly when I walked in and checked on a few times while I was shopping, but never obnoxiously. It's located in a great little shopping center with plenty of restaurants and parking. I absolutely loved the few minutes. I had to kill here and can't wait for my next visit should I find myself in Coeur d'Alene again!

I ordered a drip coffee, served in a fancy-schmancy mug, and a 'Brekky" sandwich with bacon on sourdough (good choice). The coffee was strong and hot, and the freshly-made sandwich was piled high and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, but not quiet. There are casual conversations and card games going on at the tables, and there are shelves of merchandise to browse. I hope to come back for lunch sometime!

The coffee drinks seemed watered down or flavorless. To be more cost effective and environmentally friendly, consider large coffee cups and froth designs. Be creative! My spouse and I are gamers and Manga readers so it was a dead giveaway to our family that we'd like the store. The store carries books, comics, Manga, dvds, video games, card games, d&d stuff and even some board games, including the side products like wall scrolls and figures. The family loves the book and comic sections, and frequent the Nintendo and Playstation aisles. No surprise they left with a couple clearance books. We picked up a set of One Piece figures that my husband had been eyeing online but couldn't find a complete set at a single store. EntertainMart had the full set and a couple extras so we were stoked on that find. We even noticed a Nintendo Switch OLED for sell which is out of stock everywhere and if we didn't already own a switch and switch lite we might have grabbed too. We went fairly late so they didn't have much staff on site but there also was only a few customers there. The cashier who helped us was friendly. For being his first couple days on the job, did a good job quickly getting through the multiple spider wraps we had brought up. They use multiple kinds of wraps so he ended up getting a crash course because of us haha. We will definitely continue to stop by when we visit family in town and hope to find some new treasure amongst the shelves.

NO. It was about 100 cards with like 8 duplicates of seven different cards. I went back to return it as it seems like it was put together to just screw someone out of nine dollars. I spent a lot of money there on a weekly basis and was told no there are no returns for collectibles. Unbelievable that for a patron of their business that they would not honor store credit - as I did give the cards back. DO NOT BUY THE MAGIC BRICKS. Same layout, same coffee shop, same sections, etc. But I just love going in and finding a few books or magazines and finding a comfy chair and just flipping through the pages. I also love their beautiful journals!!! They usually have a lot to choose from!! Also, pens , paper, puzzles, stationary section, lovely cards for different occasions. Also have a fun kids section with fun kids books and stuff. Amazingly large selection of magazine's. Just a fun place to visit! I usually stop in here whenever I am in the Valley area, just shopping for the day.

They were looking at books in the young readers section and found a book called spent. It's a comic book style book. They flipped through it and found some pretty pornagraphic images. Yes, they were drawings, but a butt naked lady and a guy with a strap on. I let the staff know and they did removed the rest of the copies from the kids section but the images are forever seared in my 12 year old daughter and her friend's minds. So we get to have a fun conversation and I get to talk to the other child parent. I did take a picture of one of the pages but I won't post it here. Hopefully staff will review books in the kids section a little closer going forward.

The bookstore is a pretty large has a huge election on adult, teens, and children's books. They have the newer books up in the front area by the cashier. They also sell other knickknack stuff like journals, bookmarks, small little toys, and other stationary items. Place to spend a few hours at to read some books and purchase them. This is a great store with amazing customer service! I went in recently to look at different bible…read moretranslations. I was struggling with looking on-line and I need to be able to open them to really make a decision. When I came in I was instantly greeted and I went straight to the Bible section. They have a nice big table so you can pull multiple books out to lay them side by side. I had this really nice lady come over and see if I needed any help. I let her know I was looking for a different translation and the Bibles I had considered. She gave me a great rundown of each of them and pulled a couple of suggestions out to put on the table. We then turned them all to the same chapter and verse to be able to read them side by side to see which one I connected with most. I was working through word for word and thought for thought translations. It was so incredibly helpful and I was so appreciative of her patience and expertise. With her help, I was able to find the translation that I really connected with. I will absolutely go back again! Plus they have so many amazing things in this store from clothing, toys, and gifts, there's something for everyone. Highly encourage you to check it out.
