The store is set up very nice neat and clean. We ended up getting a bunch of kids books and because we joined their trade in program each hardback was two dollars and every softback book was a dollar. Definitely gonna be coming to this bookstore a lot.

I typically would always buy new books but heard about a sale here and checked it out earlier this year...one dollar for four kids' books; we came home with eight total. Many of the books we purchased were similar to ones on her Amazon wish list for a minimum of five dollars apiece and we got them for $.25 each -- wow!! Today we brought three books to trade in (easy process) which resulted in a trade of three children's books, including one that is on Amazon for $10 (see pictured) and is in excellent condition. They carry a great selection of books, stationary, and even their own merchandise. I found the books to be priced pretty normally, following MSRP. I was greeted pleasantly when I walked in and checked on a few times while I was shopping, but never obnoxiously. It's located in a great little shopping center with plenty of restaurants and parking. I absolutely loved the few minutes. I had to kill here and can't wait for my next visit should I find myself in Coeur d'Alene again!

Most book stores are considered a calm and relatively quiet place and, at least on this day, was not the case. On the bottom floor of the bookstore (with GREAT acoustics, mind you) sat two people who were having such a loud conversation that it echoed throughout the entire place. Not the worst thing I suppose but this convo happened to be full of f-bombs and just generally negative and nasty comments. Kinda put a damper on my experience-- maybe a few signs asking for low voices on the bookstore side?

NO. It was about 100 cards with like 8 duplicates of seven different cards. I went back to return it as it seems like it was put together to just screw someone out of nine dollars. Also have a fun kids section with fun kids books and stuff. Amazingly large selection of magazine's. Just a fun place to visit! They were looking at books in the young readers section and found a book called spent. It's a comic book style book. They flipped through it and found some pretty pornagraphic images. Yes, they were drawings, but a butt naked lady and a guy with a strap on. I let the staff know and they did removed the rest of the copies from the kids section but the images are forever seared in my 12 year old daughter and her friend's minds. So we get to have a fun conversation and I get to talk to the other child parent. I did take a picture of one of the pages but I won't post it here. Hopefully staff will review books in the kids section a little closer going forward.

As a fiction lover, I was thrilled to find books by all my favorite authors, as well as everything trending on Book-tok. Beyond the books, they have a dedicated section for greeting cards, stickers, adorable magnets, tote bags, and stationery, plus a large area reserved just for children's books. I was struggling with looking on-line and I need to be able to open them to really make a decision. When I came in I was instantly greeted and I went straight to the Bible section. They have a nice big table so you can pull multiple books out to lay them side by side. I had this really nice lady come over and see if I needed any help. I let her know I was looking for a different translation and the Bibles I had considered. She gave me a great rundown of each of them and pulled a couple of suggestions out to put on the table. We then turned them all to the same chapter and verse to be able to read them side by side to see which one I connected with most. I was working through word for word and thought for thought translations. It was so incredibly helpful and I was so appreciative of her patience and expertise. With her help, I was able to find the translation that I really connected with. I will absolutely go back again! Plus they have so many amazing things in this store from clothing, toys, and gifts, there's something for everyone. Highly encourage you to check it out.

The girl at the counter completely lacked customer service skills, avoided eye contact, and generally seemed bothered to be helping a customer.
