I would not recommend going to Great Expressions Dental Care in Brighton. They told me I had two cavities and to get them taken care of right away cavities. I did not have any cavities. I did have a crown put on and was told the cost of it and I paid the amount I was told that day. Several months later I received a bill stating I owe them more money. I told them I paid my bill and I don't owe them anything more. They kept sending me bills in the mail. Now they are hounding me to pay this bill. It is under $100. Since I already paid my bill the day of, I should not be having to pay them more. read more

***STAY AWAY!*** After initial appointment (at which NOTHING was done except pictures) they sent me to three other appointments with specialists (an hour away) where, again, NOTHING was done. They refused to do what I requested leaving me in pain from a broken tooth for 6 weeks! They then had the audacity to charge me almost $100 above and beyond the insurance payments (for doing absolutely NOTHING) after three different people told me that EVERYTHING was covered by my insurance. ***STAY AWAY*** read more

Beware of this place. The buisness practices are shady. They will schedule you for an emergency visit and you won't even know it Just to bill you more. They will make you do X-rays for a procedure they just told you on the last visit you needed and previously had X rays taken to fix. The highturner in staff is a red flag. read more

My family has been using this office for a few years now. With that said it's a game of chance to go here. The majority of the staff changes constantly including dentists! Today's, cleaning was quick and almost painless. She got a little aggressive with the water pick. Even though she said my teeth were in really good shape. The new-to-me dentist however, came in never introduced himself. After reviewing my chart and a super quick check of my mouth tried to sell me on unnecessary dental procedures including a crown on a perfectly health tooth and a filling replacement for a filling that is fine. One dentist has hand tremors, which is unnerving when drilling in ones tooth. He also does pay much attention to physical bedside manner - pinches lip between his hand and your teeth; nicks gums when working with sharp utensils. Office manager is rude, and inflexible. Absolutely awful care. I cannot stand the dentist, places like this being the reason. I talked with the tech about my habits. Immediately after she walked out I could hear her talking to one of the other techs calling me a lair and both laughing about how I looked. Right outside my room. Got up and walked out crying. Been a patient for a long time. a few times now they change appointment times on me without asking first. Then call you and say you missed your appointment and make you reschedule. If it is a computer/system error, then FIX THE PROBLEM! Maybe the person that had my appointment should have to reschedule or maybe the staff needs to think twice about scheduling when they want to go to lunch. read more

Sometimes I love this place, sometimes... I just wish it wasn't a revolving door of employees! I walk in every time wondering whether I will recognize anyone. I mean, I know I only go twice a year but geez! With that being said, I have had the same hygienist the past couple of times and she is nice. The dentist I had last time was nice too. Dr falvo is the most patient and caring dentist I've ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients comfort and shows an incredible amount of empathy when it comes to those of us who are a little anxious when it comes to dental work. The hygienists are super friendly and the desk staff treat you with kindness as well. read more

Friendly and affordable dental care. Fast service, especially on Fridays. Our kids all agreed that their flouride wasn't that bad (usually flouride paint is sticky and clumpy). Having this dental plan has saved us thousands of dollars. read more

Our family switched here after a not so wonderful experience with the Great Expressions in Okemos. This staff is on top of it. I've been there twice now and they are fast and no what they're doing. The lady who does the X-rays is really good. I usually gag, but not when she does them. I also really liked the hygienist. She's personable and happy. The dentist was friendly and explained things very well. Overall I'm very pleased with this office. read more

I went to get a teeth cleaning there since my husband and son go there and since I was a new patient they demanded to take x-rays or they wouldn't clean my teeth. I am a 2x breast cancer survivor and don't want any radiation. They wouldn't clean my teeth. I felt they were extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend this place unless you want to fill out endless paperwork that they don't even look at! I have never written a bad review before for anyone and I am very sad they treated me so badly. read more

I just wasted an hour of my day driving to the office and waiting in the lobby for 40 mins!!! I finally told them that i can't wait any longer. the receptionist asked if i would like to reschedule......why, so i can wait another 40 mins on another day!!!! This office is a joke. I took my 1 yr old son in to have the dentist look at some buildup between his 2 bottom teeth. The dentist looked at him for 2 min said it was tooth decay that was it. I went to a pediatric dentist for a second opinion and found out it was just tarter that the hygienist was able to remove in 2min. I think it is crazy that the dentist didn't know the difference between tarter and decay. Oh and they charged me $50 for the 5 min visit. What a joke. Makes me wonder how many unnecessary services get performed there because the dentist doesn't know what he is doing. read more
