We drive there, he stops the car, takes out our bag of recyclables and we get the cash on the spot. They give you a receipt too. We only ever recycle bags of drinks cans and bottles here so I can't comment too much about recycling other goods but if we were going to give it to someone else or just toss it out, the tens of dollars we do get after months of collecting is worth it for the convenience of it all. So in my opinion, pretty worth it for the amount of goods recycled and little effort needed.

(I went to two different Sunset Recycling down that were down the street from each other and I was denied at both of them)

Right away they start helping you unload your valuables and even Strike Up a conversation with you. And better yet this place is about 2 miles closer to my house and at around 650 a gallon for gas it's very inviting. I will continue going here until I decide to quit scrapping. Wish they took brass and copper too but obviously on that plot of land they would not be able to. I wait until I get A full truck load and go in usually around $200 worth.
