I was quoted $30-$35 twice by phone and finally decided to give them a try. They were busy for a Monday Morning. They are only open from about 8AM to 2PM so I had to read ajust my schedule to make 1/2 hour down South, I was excited to try their services because I heard such lovely things. The owner (who I assume I spoke too) was lovely and warm and kind to my pup. It took about 3.5 hours but worth the wait if my pup is treated well. Everyone that came in was treated with gratitude and known by name. My pup looks great, but he smells of perfume which I wouldn't of wanted for him. Secondly they charged me $45 and I have no idea why? Nothing was explained to me. I was told he got the works and had allot of undercoat. I bush him every other day so I know it was not that bad but he did need some care. What hurts most is they just looked at me, told me what I was quoted and waited for me to pay up. I even have it written down at home on their card and what day I spoke to the owner and that I was quoted $30-$35 by phone. I had to lower my tip and I probably will not go back now. I really don't want to be treated that way, and I have never had someone quote me by being $10 off with no explination. I would of appreciated some type of apology or more explanation for a simple bath and brush and if they felt his skin needed extra conditioner or extra services that they would of called to ask me if it was all right. I really don't know what I paid for, but I do know he was bathed and brushed. I guess I am still on the look out for my favorite groomer!

Recently, however, I started receiving several emails asking me to complete forms for appointments for other dogs. Since these clearly were not related to Flor, I called today to let the staff know about the issue so it could be corrected. I believe the person I spoke with was named Casey. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled was extremely frustrating. While I was trying to explain the issue, she repeatedly interrupted me and said they were transitioning to AI text messages and that they were having problems with the system. I tried to explain that my concern was specifically about receiving forms and emails for other dogs, but she continued talking over me and did not allow me to finish explaining. When I told her that she was interrupting me and not letting me explain the situation, she simply told me to send an email about it. I explained that I did not have time to send an email and was calling because I was trying to resolve the issue directly. Again, she interrupted me and said she did not know what to do about that. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. She told me that she was the manager. I asked her to confirm her name again, and she responded, "No." I then asked if I could speak with someone else or the owner, and she hung up on me. I honestly don't know how to handle this because I really do like bringing Flor here and have been happy with the grooming services. Unfortunately, the way I was treated during this phone call was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was simply trying to bring an issue to their attention so it could be resolved, and I expected to at least be given the opportunity to explain what was happening. I hope management sees this and addresses the situation, because I would really like to continue bringing Flor here. I just don't feel that customers should be treated this way when they are trying to communicate a legitimate concern.

We always call ahead to make sure they can fit him in and I've never been told no, so we are essentially a walk-in, and we've been fit in every time. We've gone here for at least 2 years and they do a good job on our guy's all-black nails. They let us hold him but I'm sure they'd leash him to a table if we asked. He's only bled one time in all that time from trimming a very curled dew claw so we've been happy with their services. Mondays are appointment-only days for them, so they're not always open then, but I stopped by yesterday (on a Monday) and they very willingly fit me in even though they were closing up for the day and were so kind to me and my fussy pooch for both nails and anal gland expression ($10 for each service) and she didn't just wipe off his rump and send us on our way, but made sure to give him a quick shampoo of his posterior. Usually there are a couple dogs free-roaming in the gated area where cuts are done and I have never seen a stressed pet back there. I like the concept that dogs don't have to be kenneled while waiting before or after services and the dogs coming out of grooming always look so good.

That was my first indication that I had found the perfect place for their groomings. The large waiting area is very clean, with a few product rounds, a sofa that held one of the shop pets, a reception desk for checking in & out and more. When I picked up my babies, not only did they look great but they wanted to stay and play. Great Job, Uptown Fluff.
