The staff was the best part of the experience. They were all so kind, so transparent about the pricing, and worked with my schedule to get my poodle in for a groom and color session. My poor boy looked so sad and homeless bc it's shedding season. But after his bath, his coat was so soft and shiny. For being an XL Dog, the price was really fair versus some of the other mobile groomers. I think the guys name was Ryan? Or Brian. He was really nice and let my dog keep his ball during the bath and it took less than an hour. I was very happy with this service and will recommend them to anyone! read more

When I first came in I was really hesitant to leave my baby because the place is very dirty and was really unkept. I read the good reviews and thought "maybe they will still do a good job on the cut how bad can it be?" well I was completely wrong and I wish I had turned around. My usual place was really busy and they couldn't fit us in so I thought I would try this one out. My dog has areas in her body that are shaved down to the skin, she's super uneven, her nails are all broken and super sharp, her tail looks terrible, and her fur around her butt is still very long and poop got caught in it when she went to the bathroom. I cannot believe I spent $90 on a haircut that looks like it was done for someone doing it for the first time. I even had specifically asked for them to leave the tail short and they left this weird mess? I would give them 1/2 a star if I could. read more

I am devastated by the terrible job Brandi did on my dog. I know that she was terribly matted when I brought her in, but I thought Brandi would have at least tried to leave her with some hair. She told me when I walked in yesterday not to cry when I saw Luna to pick her up. I didn't realize until I got Luna home that Brandi had shaved her eyelashes and whiskers off! And, she chopped off the hair on her ears like a child would do to her own hair without regard of what it looked like. I could or would never recommend Lucky Dog Groomers because when I talked to Brandi today and asked why she cut off Luna's eyelashes and whiskers; her comment to me was all you cared about was that your dog looked cute and I did what was best for her. Luna is depressed and stressed after Brandi shaved her so close to her skin and Luna is beautiful no matter what Brandi did. I know Brandi is going to try post pictures of my dog which she has no right to do because she's trying to save herself. But I can post pictures too! This was me and my dogs first time doing the whole grooming thing so I do not have any place to compare to. I chose this place based on the 5 star reviews it had. My dog was not willing to go inside once we got there and the woman had to help me get him in the door. He was terrified and I felt horrible but there was a little boy there who was super sweet trying to tell my dog it was going to be okay with kisses and calling him baby, it was adorable and I think minutely helped put my dog at ease. I'm not exactly clear on the prices because prior to going I checked over the phone and was told for a dog my size (70ish pounds) it would be $75 for the bath/brush and $10 for the teeth. I also got his feathers trimmed which must have been an additional amount because when I was checking out the woman said she was adjusting my price because he did not get a full blown groom, just a trim. She said I was previously looking at $115, and she brought it down to $95. This is all fine, I'm just unclear on what each service actually amounted out to. My dog is very soft, smells good, and his feet/legs look 100x better then they did before going in. Several people had commented on his feet looking like Jim Carey's hands and feet in the Grinch, but now they are nice and clean cut. His breath also smells very nice. My only complaint and reasoning for the four stars is the communication/updates component. When I dropped him off the woman said they were moving pretty quickly and should be able to get him in and out and they would text me 30 minutes before he was ready. After four hours, I attempted calling to check in and got a weird automated voicemail saying "Please enter your remote access code." I kind of began to panic and tried calling several times to no avail receiving the same message. I ended up texting them and also got worrisome when not hearing anything back. After about 20 minutes they texted me with an update and when he would be ready. In total, it took about 4 and a half hours. When I got to the store, there was only one woman there which would explain the lack of communication via phone/text, but I definitely was a bit worrisome there in the 30 minutes I was trying to get in touch and couldn't. read more

I adopted a small little girl who is a 9 pound mix of cute. I was hospitalized for 2 months and I had a mobile groomer go to the home of the dogs care taker and I got a huge bill for a lousy job as her nails were not trimmed. There was an issue with another owners dogs during my appointment... just anxious dogs that took longer than expected... but I received a call and they were so apologetic that my dog would be done later than they expected. We have been bringing our 2 terrier mixes here for 3 years. We love this groomer so much that we continued coming here after we moved across town. Janelle always does a wonderful job, especially with our dogs who are very hairy and need trims around their eyes, ears, legs, and backs. After sending our dogs here for the past 3 years ever 8 weeks, we have found it is very consistent. They always look fantastic and thier coats feels so soft. I love whatever products she uses. Although our dogs always get nervous when walking in, they are always sad to leave! This place is also very reasonably priced and we love that it's a local owner and not a big chain store groomer, which we have had bad experiences with before. Shortly after I requested an appointment online, I was contacted within 24 hours and booked for the following morning at 7:10am. They like to groom cats early in the morning to reduce their stress by finishing before the dogs come in. A very thoughtful consideration. My 16 year old kitty was severely matted so I requested a lion cut. Cats are notoriously difficult to groom so my main concern was the removal of mats- not a pretty haircut. Well, they decided to take us in (I hear they enjoy a challenge) and give us the works. We had a great time, the women were gentle and talked to us, gave us a massage while washing a few pounds of dirt off, and we were very good dogs.... This place is fantastic. It was our first time getting our rescue dog, a fluffy Pomeranian Chow mix, groomed and from start to finish, all of the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Karen was great at providing us with information about their services and as accommodating as it gets in regards to scheduling. Both groomers who worked on our dog were so good with him and I was delighted to see Luko wagging his tail on the table, clearly relaxed, when we came to pick him up. They did a magnificent job transforming what looked like a woolly mammoth into a dog again and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the kindness of the staff. Brandy did and incredible light trim, shampoo, nail clipping and teeth brushing on my rescue puppy. She spent extra time combing him out and then shaping his coat. Disappointed with our first experience at lucky dog. Our pup looked great after his bath and trim but his overall experience was traumatic. One of his nails was cut too short and it bled for several days following the appointment. He also came home with a cut on his lip. It's a fair price for a decent cut. I have brought my fur baby here a few times. It is very difficult to get someone on the phone. Before the pandemic, I would receive text message responses. This last time I had to stop in and make the appointment. The schedule is usually open for the next week. Whenever I have taken him him, they give me a two hour window, yet it's always has taken longer. My dog looks decent but the hair around his mouth is usually too long and last time it was obviously uneven. They are always so accommodating and professional, and take good care of every pup that comes into their care. I have another pup, who I just need nails done, and you can just run in and get 'em done and your outta there! They let you know online when your pup(s) are done, and you can pay online and just run in and pick up your dog. They are great! I've been going to them for years and they are always the best! Took my dog in for her first appointment and her last appointment! Very disappointed in how everything went. Was told it would take 2 hrs at the most. When I was finally called and texted I arrived to find that she was still not ready! 3.5 hrs later she was ready! The groomer never came out.
