Don't be deterred by Buzz's Bakery being hidden in the trees on a quiet road...the delicious baked goods and kind customer service of Ray (owner) makes the drive WORTH IT! The prices are generously low which allowed me to buy a variety of fresh breads, cookies, biscotti, pretzels and pizza buns for the family. Buzz's is exactly why buying local is so important. There is obvious joy poured into the baking and this small business. If you need a coffee or tea with your scone, stop at a local coffee shop before heading over. They seemed to have quiches and other things that change daily which some people might appreciate but I think it confuses the people working there and also the people who like whatever they had yesterday but now they can't have. The coffee didn't come out until we were about ready to leave which I expected as it seemed they had barely 2-3 people working at one time. I discovered which I'm a big snob around the perfect Cinnamon roll I've ever had, which is a raspberry cinnamon roll. They also had a pumpkin one which I like but the raspberry is a cuddy above the rest. I think the best part about going in here is I feel like the staff treat us like family. A few people that stand out consistently are::Maddie, Rebecca, hope and juniper Jessica And the owner Don, of course. Thank you guys for always being consummate professionals and creating Joy whenever I come in and bringing a smile to my face in big ways and small. And it's not just about the incredibly yummy decadent flagrant yet down home raspberry cinnamon roll, but also your raspberry swirl bread is to die for as well as your blueberry crumble. Oh, and the Apple bread as well. I'm such a fan that my niece Kat bought me a gift certificate for Christmas and I can't wait to use it :)
