Always providing modifications if you aren't doing something properly. They cheer you on, correct your form, and the energy and vibe is amazing since that energy and positivity transfers to us in class (all cheering each other on). With Covid precautions, there is no rotation stations. Youre assigned a station and watch your corresponding monitor to tell you what exercise you're doing... they've already set your station up with everything you'll need for that day's workout. M/W/F are more cardio based days (think jump squats, burpees, box jumps) and T/Th/Sun are more resistance / weight days. Saturday is a 60 min combo. Coaches (and everyone attending) are very thoughtful about their masks, it feels safe inside considering how far away you are from others.

I'm not really down with doing push-ups in people's hair and dirt every class I come to.

Spent a few days in Cleveland and dropped in to I/O twice. Great experience. The gym is very well…read moreappointed--all the equipment is new and the space is clean. My first drop-in was an evening class with coach Marques who was awesome. My second was a Saturday class that was very challenging and very fun. Jodi and Michael, the owners, were very welcoming and the general vibe was so friendly. Highly recommended.

I have been a member of CrossFit I/O for two years now. It is, by far, the most well rounded gym I…read morehave ever been a member of. I have a deep respect for the owners - their commitment to fitness, safety and cleanliness. I would recommend this gym to any fitness level. Why I love this gym: 1. It is not a bro-y gym. There are folks of every fitness level who are committed to improving themselves. No one will judge you here based on your current level of fitness. We are all just trying to improve ourselves and have fun doing it. 2. It is a safety-first gym. Jodi will go over every second of every movement to make sure you know how to perform the lift. And if the form needs to improve, she'll tell ya that too. But even her critiques come from a place of concern for safety. 3. Friendship. I moved to Cleveland Heights without knowing anyone - in CrossFit I/O I found friendship. Join, commit, and you will too. 4. It is a clean gym. I cannot stress this enough. Each piece of equipment gets cleaned after every workout. I have walked past the gym late at night to find the owners deep-cleaning the gym on multiple occasions. Their hard work on cleanliness means a lot to me. 5. It's about cardio first. I am out of breath after every workout. So is everyone else. This is the sign of a good gym. To the owners of CrossFit I/O - Thank you for giving me a home for my fitness. To people considering joining a gym - I urge you to stop by. It's a good place to work out.

Awesome gym! Definitely a place for everyone, no matter your previous experience or current level…read moreof fitness. A must try if you're in the area!

Glad to write a first review for Crossfit Tripoint. I usually "exercise" at home or at a different…read moregym but I wasn't seeing results. I decided to try this place after reading about it online and new year new you blah blah - It was great! Im no expert on the programs they offer but it seems like you start with their program called on-ramp. It is 3 sessions that are sort of a personal training sessions (not sure if it is always 1:1 but mine was) where you are shown how to do some different moves properly and safely and other stuff about how the workouts operate. then you do a mini workout where you practice the moves in a timed workout and he helps correct your form if it is off. So it is very worth the cost! (IMO) It was very educational and helpful (and inspiring.) Then this way you can enter the classes and know more what is going on. Now online it said search for onramp classes and i was mildly confused and didnt see them so i emailed and Alex got back to me right away and we scheduled no prob. I'm so glad I tried this! My perception of the whole Crossfit thing with the strong insanely fit people and the big weights was very intimidating to me. But Alex the owner at Crossfit Tripoint was very knowlegable, reasonable, down to earth, welcoming, professional, helpful - his gym is great and the experience was really great so far. He explained each move and how to modify the move if I was unable to do the goal weight/method of the move, he showed, like beginner, intermediate modified moves. So everyone does what is best for them and I didn't feel that I was beyond my skill level or like failing or embarassed. (Like no way I have even done a pull up in my life I don't think and still no.) I wasn't able to meet many other people since I wasn't in a regular workout class yet but in passing the members were very friendly! As for the reaults that I wasn't seeing at my gym (me losing 50 lbs) well.... it has only been two workouts here but I felt really really great after my introductory workouts so far. It felt tired but great after the workouts and really enjoyed. This review sounds so fake - first review - I am not, like, this guys sister or something. Wish I could say something funny but nothing was funny - just great. Don't be shy just check it out (if you want) and best wishes to Alex and the Crossfit Tripoint people and their amazing gym! Best wishes to me losing weight and best wishes to you too gentle reader.
