Volleyball mill. Poor coaching and player development for new players. Military mindset that yields poor results for new players

Extremely unprofessional management and inconsistent policies…read more My family rented a volleyball court here and were accused of "training" even though we were simply practicing. The owner didn't even have the decency to talk to me in person, but had his employee walk over to me, tell me "my manager would like to talk to you about what you're doing here", handed me a cellphone with the owner on it who proceeded to poorly attempt to talk at me and tell me what was happening and he wasn't there. When I asked the manager, Raghu Bharathur, to define what their facility considers "training," he listed several criteria -- none of which were disclosed when my husband originally signed up. These rules were never communicated prior to the reservation in writing, online, or at check‑in. We were first told by Dan that they would issue a refund through a ticket and that we could finish our court time. Minutes later, they reversed their decision and said they would issue an immediate refund and that we needed to leave 10 minutes before our rental was over. When I asked them to honor the original agreement, they escalated the situation and threatened to call 911 -- an unacceptable and unprofessional response used to justify their poor business practices. To make matters worse, the court they assigned us had a broken net, and the group on the court before us -- an older man and a younger girl -- appeared to be doing the exact type of activity we were accused of, yet no one said anything to them. This facility clearly picks and chooses who they enforce their "training" rule against. Overall, the experience was disorganized, disrespectful, and handled with zero professionalism. Raghu, the owner, needs to be held accountable for inconsistent policies, lack of transparency, and treating paying customers with hostility instead of respect. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for a fair, organized, or customer‑friendly environment.

Very disappointing experience at Play and Thrive Badminton in Schaumburg…read more You're required to download an app, register, and pay through it (with a 3% convenience fee). They also require non-marking shoes -- otherwise you can't play or have to rent a pair. None of this was clearly communicated. Staff were not friendly or helpful. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

The bank did an investigation and issued a chargeback on them and that's when they started trying to steal from me. At this point if you give the owner any money I personally think you are a terrible person. Every single time you walk in I want you to remember there is a veteran down the street that things YOU are a terrible person. Edit 2: the company told the CTFB that they are waiving the contract. Then their biller ABC decided they wanted to hassle me some more since they were not told. Edit: I am a disabled veteran, who was in the local papers for having a catastrophic injury that put my family into extreme hardship. This company is now threatening me and demanding payment. If you value the service veterans provided you and your family, go to one of the ten other gyms nearby. Planet fitness won't even ask questions if you cancel for medical reasons, the edge wants to ruin a family for their money Original post: Charges $30 for missed payments. I will not be renewing. You shouldnt be more afraid of missing a gym payment then anything else in this economy. Go somewhere else.

What I love most is that everyone's actually working out. No one's sitting around on the machines scrolling through their phone. It's all focus, good vibes, and hard work. I'm here about three hours a day and it's always a great experience. The Edge Naperville sets the bar for what a gym should be.
