We've been to the pool over a half dozen times since just moving in the end of last month. The…read morepools seem to be well maintained, as when we saw that they needed skimming, the guards got right to it! The stair rail needs some reinforcement and there is a leak in the women's bathroom that seems to have someone checking into. As for the Lifeguards, they do a good job which was evident on Friday night when their job was put to the test and a child's life was saved shortly after we left for the evening. For those who say, Guards are a waste of money, I for one as a parent, grandparent and former swim team member appreciate their service. We can't always have our eyes everywhere when it comes to our kids, of any age! There are still adults out there that don't know how to swim and some of then have children. It only takes a tablespoon of water to drown, a wrong move in a game of catch or whatever to lose your balance and be the victim. Lifeguards are money well spent!

I simply asked why some people were playing with their own shoes, and instead of explaining, he became rude and aggressive. He told me I couldn't bowl and even gestured for me to leave. I stayed calm and said I'd pay for the shoes anyway just to avoid any issue, but he still refused to let me play. When I asked for the manager, Tony, things got worse. He approached with a laughing, dismissive attitude, interrupted me constantly, and even started raising his voice while I was trying to explain politely. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional -- honestly, Tony doesn't seem fit for even the lowest customer-service role, let alone a management position. The entire interaction made me feel completely disrespected and possibly discriminated against. No customer should be treated this way for simply asking a question. This place desperately needs better management and training in professionalism, respect, and basic customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this bowling center.

The techniques taught are top notch, and they also focus the intangibles of the game as well. If you are looking for genuine training for your child, M14 is the place to be. It's so nice to see a coach work directly with the kids for an entire session versus checking their phone. My son has done camps, strength training and privates. There are benefits to all of them. The place was empty and asking us to go to a bar before you throw these deadly axes. But OK. When our time did come up. The same employee. There was a whiteboard for scoring and good luck. We were the only group in the place when, which has about 20 boards. But where does he place us? The farthest boards from the front. I noticed the one of the boards needed to be replaced when we started throwing and I asked the employee about how long it would take. He blew me off and said it would take a lot because of blah blah and it would take about 20 mins. But after a few rounds the board was so bad the axes were falling even though they went blade first. Remember he knew we were coming. We asked if we could use a neighboring board set, which was in prime condition, while he took to replace to the center board. He responded with he'd have to charge us and additional $100. His boss(owner) was a tight ass about it. So we were down for about 20 minutes until he could tear out & replace and mark the board. No mention of additional time or reduced cost. Another thing I noticed was the poor lighting. Ours had this horrible red lightning. Other had a bright white light. I've been to a few axe throwing places. This was the least managed and lowest welcoming I'd been to. They also charged the credit card before confirming if that it was card we reserved with was the one we wanted to charge on. It wasn't. Sorry won't be going back.

Yesterday , We took…read moreour kiddos to sports zone to do the batting cages, we let our daughter try it out, she does not play ball but she practices with her brother and dad all the time and dad pitches to her she does just fine, we let her go into the slow pitch batting cage and the owner ran over and yelled at us and was extremely rude, we took it as he was just concerned and we didn't read the rules she's 5 and you have to be 6. We apologized and took her out no problem. He still stays there and keeps egging it on, he starts point at the rules all aggressive, we still again agreed we didn't read them and apologized. HE THEN states "I don't know if you need to read them in Spanish" like WHAT THE FUCK!!? So because of the color of our skin you make that comment yet we have been speaking to you fluently in English, my husband and I have no accents and we barely ever speak Spanish. So we were BLOWN AWAY. Moral of the story this piece of shit is RACIST. And yall shouldn't spend a PENNY there!!

For sure one has to come when the weather is good. The course is pretty well maintained but can be a little boring to be honest. Among the more affordable golf courses around here and among the few that are public and not a part of a country club. It's a full 18 hole course with maintained greens. There's a good variety in the yardage. Among the amenities are carts. Of course any respectable course should have these. Also there's a clubhouse with a bar and grill. There's a menu of golf themed cocktails along with basic greasy stuff like burgers and wings. If wanting to get lessons, there's a PGA approved instructor. There's also tournaments for juniors. Fairly good place to play golf. It's located on Hill Avenue at Montgomery. The course gets crowded at times especially on weekends.
