But, I enjoyed my 20 lessons and I learned a lot also. I also appreciate the fact that he drove to me instead of me going to him; not all driving schools offer pick-up. I paid the full amount on the first day using a card, you can't pay in increments. I started taking lessons in July, which was the soonest I had ever been offered a lesson, doing 1-2 lessons per week. I knew there was a rush for driving schools because a lot of the driving schools I had called before Evolution was full from July-October, so I had no problem doing a few lessons per week. When it was time to schedule my test, Mr. Merldon gave me the time and date. I simply told him this would not work for me since I had to go out of the country. We had to reschedule a few times because my vacation took longer than expected. But, when my road test was scheduled, we also had a lesson scheduled before then, to help get rid of my nerves! After my successful test, Mr. Merldon drove me back and that was it! **I should note that Mr. Merldon does have the radio playing on low. If you find music at any volume, to be distracting while you're driving, then you can ask him to turn it off. I, personally, had no issue with this and found the music therapeutic during our lessons. ***ADVICE: When you are taking your road test, be mindful and vigilant! Always yield to oncoming cars when you're parallel parking and make sure you're looking around in all directions when doing a U-turn. The road test is short, so relax and drive safely!

After taking close to 25 lessons with him, I finally passed my driver's license road test as an older adult and I'm absolutely floored. He's very laid back and very approachable in terms of asking questions and giving specific pointers. I am a nervous driver so I need to talk through things. I like that he focuses on the basics of driving so you know the intricacies of how to maneuver a car well. He let me schedule an extra lesson a day before the DMV test which i thought was very thoughtful. What stands his school apart from other driving schools is that he never pushed me to take the exam in a rush and let me take more classes (outside of my driving package) until I felt ready. I actually found him from his YouTube videos online (*search road test ready driving) which are quite informative. I especially liked his 5 hour class where he provided more in depth q&a with road test scenarios instead of watching a video about not doing drugs while driving (which is what other schools do). The only downside is that the instructor is highly popular and it took me a month or so to even get an initial lesson. Pretty reasonable rates for Brooklyn if you are willing to meet him at his work site, and his lessons are an entire hour not 45 mins. Highly highly recommend!

Was a terrible experience communicating with the staff! They never follow up when they tell you that they would. If you're are considering because of the cheaper prices I can assure you that it is not worth the price drop. That is if you will even be able to do what is promised within the bundles. They couldn't complete their own bundles requirements & had issues securing road tests.

I drove with a…read morebroken-down car with a shattered mirror on the passenger side and was very hard to see my blind spots, also the shield guard was scraping against the floor, this is very unprofessional to teach students how to drive. Only when I complained about these problematics then they decided to make adjustments to the car. I kept reminding them that my permit was coming to an expiration and if I needed more lessons I would have gladly purchased but when I called the office to book appointments no one was ever available to schedule for me.
