Just because I was already in the section, I asked about a Jelly Sake that I like and wanted to see if they had it. She was not familiar so I showed her a photo just to be sure. She confirmed it politely and even asked why I liked it. She said she would look into stocking it. :-) Hey, couldn't hurt to mention it. She did suggest something comparable as well but I already had my hands full and said I'll be back to give it a try.

I picked out a more obscure bottle of liquor, and he knew right away what it was, and had tried it before. It's always nice to get someone else's opinion on stuff like that. Plus being a whiskey drinker is like being in a secret club. If you know a lot, or even if you just stick to your Evan Williams, your in the club. Store is very clean and well organized. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a young couple. I got what I needed and left. The store has 3 aisles and large tubs of drinks that are on sale towards the front of the store. The second time I came here, the customer service was much better. The guy who was sitting at the cash register greeted my friend and I and asked us where we got our Krispy Kreme donuts. Proud that I had survived a long, grueling trip from Manhattan without squishing my donuts, I told him that he'd have to get them all the way from the city! I really do enjoy being a point of information for food, haha. He asked us what kind of drinks we like and shared that he doesn't really drink, but still tried to recommend stuff to us. The prices here are pretty decent compared to prices we are charged up at college. I like that there is parking out front and that there is a stamp card. For every $20 you purchase, you get one stamp. Once you get 10 stamps you can use the card! This place has a huge variety of things ranging from sparkling wine to soju to lemonade flavored vodka. There are also cute wine corks on the counter and canned wine that looks like soda so you can drink on the beach!

I was given a walkthrough and recommendations. As customers came in he made sure to greet and tend to their needs as well. I originally came in with the intention to purchase a red wine to complete a gift this holiday season and left well informed and with an even better wine as well as a few extra items. He even gift bagged the bottles and added a ribbon. The prices were reasonable. The sales table definitely has something for everyone and at the counter they have some fun things to try like the banana cream moonshine I'll be gifting.
