I can't comment on the food as I got a drink but I noticed a few people had ordered the croissant sandwich which came with chips on the side. I ordered a latte which came just under $8 with the dairy substitution. My latte wasn't bad. I noticed a plain cup of tea seemed pretty pricey at $5-7 depending on which kind you got. The cakes looked like they came from the grocery store (Save ons) to be specific. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The service was standard. There was one woman who seemed to be doing it all. You make your order at the till and they call you up once it's ready. Although it was nice to try something different, this is not a place that I would go out of my way to visit again.

We had a surprise party for my mom's birthday yesterday and I purchased 2 cakes from them on Friday. 1 GF Very Berry Cheesecake and the Chocolate Caramel cake for the gluten eaters. They both came presliced with parchment paper between each slice so it made for super easy serving. The cake had 16 portions and the cheesecake had 14. They are in super sturdy cardboard boxes so I never felt once that these cakes would get squashed at anytime. They come frozen but I was told to let them thaw for 2 hours before serving for a whole cake 45 for a slice. I was told if left frozen the cakes would last 10 months in the freezer. Anyway all the guests devoured the cakes. Even though there were only 2 Celiacs the gluten eaters couldn't resist the beautiful cheesecake. I'm not sure if anyone but myself and my aunt knew the cheesecake was GF. I will DEFINITELY BE buying all my birthday/anniversary cakes from them from now on. The first time we went it was Christmas time and there was an enormous real Christmas tree set up and adorable Christmas treats and cookie boxes for purchase. Everything is made on site. We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, gingerbread and the kids got milk and cookies. The cookies were baked while we had our drinks and came out hot and fresh, ready to dunk. The adults even wished they had ordered some for themselves. Before we left we got a special surprise, Santa Claus! This place offers special baking classes, custom made cakes and goodies as well as holiday themed treat boxes such as valentines and Easter cookie kits.
