Wonton soup bowl size 馄饨汤. It's decent size enough to share with 3-4 pax filled with 10 wontons, the soup is tasty enough and the wontons are delicious. 2. Shrimp fried rice 虾炒饭, generous plate with shrimps and you can taste the wok fried rice style. Very recommend all time favorite! 3. Singapore chow mian 星洲炒面 delicious but a lil bit plain on curry taste, also come in generous plate same as the shrimp fried rice. 4. Triple delight on sizzling platter, 铁板三样 is very delicious and fancy with sizzling plate presentation, but feel like 1 portion will not be enough for 2-3 people. The restaurant was clean and the service was amazingly responsive, even it's pretty empty with 3-4 table occupancy, but seems like they have lots of online ordering and picking up during peak hour. This place is awful!!! We had eaten here a few times before with no issues. My child and I went for lunch one day after a doctors appointment and my sons food was gross and smelt strange. My food (chicken) was raw!!! When I said something the waitress asked if I wanted something else.. I said no thank you I'd rather not eat here now. When she brought the check they offered 15% discount for uncooked and expired food that we didn't even eat. I asked if I could talk to the manager. His response was " I'm out the product so someone has to pay for it" I paid and left. We will never step food in that place again ever. read more

Save your money. The owner was nasty . We lunch was fine but the potstickers we ordered were in a grease broth, and the oil used to fry them was rancid. We took one bite and spit it out. We sent them Back, but the owner refused to take off my bill. She insisted they were fine and said she was not going to take off the bill. She raised her voice , got nasty so we paid and left. Worst meal ever. Greasy egg rolls, the Chicken Fried Rice was COLD! The Hot and Sour soup was tasteless and the waitress never came back by to see if we needed anything which I had ran out of tea with the appetizer and never recieved any more. After we finished our meal and waited about 20 minutes we yelled for the waitress to come over since they were not helping anyone that had order she came slowly and we told her the fried rice was cold we did not eat it and we wanted it off our bill. About 20 minutes later we yelled for her again to come to our table and she said manager said we had to pay for the fried rice. My husband and I had the family dinner and before we could eat the fried wonton strips that came after the menus, our appetizers were out, hot and tasty. The food was out shortly after. Don't do the delivery service, takes forever and is still late. The food was good, was as expected and the order was correct. For the money we spent they didn't give much at all for condiments. Let me forward my review by saying that if you came here years ago when the site was under Jenny and her husband (original owners), or even if you came immediately after they sold it; things have CHANGED. In the last 3 or so months we've ordered delivery 2x. Once on the weekend and once mid week. Both times were utter disappointment. The food is not even buffet quality in my opinion, yet the prices are on the high-average side. Everything is DRENCHED in MSG which frankly makes no sense if your business ISNT a buffet. There is not a trace of seasoning in anything unless you want your dish slopped with poor quality chili paste. I mean NO seasoning on ANYTHING. Both delivery orders had items missing. I didn't want to forget to add that. More about the food. Beware wonton/wor wonton soup. I'm not sure who taught the kitchen, but the dough should have a firm texture not that of a large booger from a congested horse. And the "broth" needs to be more than hot tap water with veggies thrown in last minute. Crab Rangoon has CRAB in it, not just a small dollop of cream cheese. Pot stickers typically have a dipping sauce (which isn't plain soy sauce)...and flavor. They typically have that. Fried rice is browned in a wok, not just turned brown with soy sauce. Sweet and sour sauce has never been dayglow. And serving Korean soy sauce may be cheaper but it has a distinctly different flavor than Chinese soy sauce and anyone with an ounce of pride in their Chinese food knows it. If your great grandparents are in town and need an over cooked and flavorless meal this is Your golden ticket. I have the distinct feeling (and I admit 100% that I have nothing but a hunch backing this up) that for whatever reason the newest owners ended up hiring general line cooks (maybe even some staff from local buffets) that are really working with very little info and I'm guessing, not the right resources. If there's a trace of Chinese 5 Spice within 50 meters of that place I'll eat my cat. It's the most overly Americanized and poorly done Chinese food (I lo even using the phrase) I've ever had. This place makes me wish Gordon Ramsey was still doing Kitchen Nightmares. Just another ethnic food Gillette will be missing out on. read more

While staying at the Clarion, I was looking for something close and saw the Great Wall restaurant in a little strip mall very close to the hotel. What to do....there was a Mexican restaurant close by too. Hmmm, Mexican or Chinese.... I chose Chinese this time. The Great Wall is nice inside but nothing really fancy. I had Sweet and Sour soup, spring rolls, hunan beef and hot tea. Everything was good and nothing really stood out as exceptional. The wait staff was nice and adequately attentive. They also had reasonably priced lunch specials so I think I would prefer this place as a lunch spot. This is a place I would go to again if I was in a Chinese mood again - and 1,000 miles from home in Gillette, WY. read more

Several people told us that this was the best Chinese restaurant in town. We arrived 30 minutes before closing on a Wednesday evening. A large table of 9 were seated as well as two tables with couples. We were a group of 5 and received quick, friendly and efficient service. Nice atmosphere but not fancy: Fabric table cloths but fake flower centerpieces. I posted photo of my dinner. Others in my party complemented their meals though two of us thought our spicy foods weren't very spicy - yet the sauces were extremely good tasting. I had a pretty bad experience. I let my server know that I ended up not liking the food I ordered; the shrimp was chewy and the taste just wasn't good to me. One of my friends with me even said the shrimp didn't look right. I was told by my waiter that next time I should choose something else, so he didn't offer me any compensation. I only ate two bites and he asked me if I wanted a Togo box and I said "no thank you." I didn't ask for anything, I just wanted to be done. He came up to my table and told me the reason he wouldn't give me anything to make up for my visit and stated he would not give me a refund or anything, is because earlier this week someone else got food, didn't like it, and wanted a refund. Because of that person wanting a refund, his boss yelled at him and told him "customers cannot get a refund ever." Oh and they have several plugs exposed, right under tables. Pretty sure that's a health violation. So, learn from me-- if you want to try something new, but end up not liking it, you're out of luck and have to pay for the disgusting food. If you are looking for over-salted Chinese takeout food from the mall, this is not your restaurant. The dishes I have tried used simple ingredients. Veggies tasted like veggies, sauces were not overdone. If I have one complaint, it is that they need to make spicy-hot dishes more spicy. I must add here that I enjoy habanero peppers and have been accused of not knowing when something is spicy. My wife really likes their crab rangoons and said they're the best in town. As someone who remembers when Chinese food seemed exotic, I am confident in recommending this restaurant to people who are nervous about trying an unfamiliar flavor or new foods. Those looking for strong sauces that overpower the ingredients will be disappointed. Flavors are subtle, relying less on spice to cover up food and more on combining good-tasting ingredients. I haven't dined in, but the service I have received when ordering takeout has been great. They package everything well and don't forget essentials like sweet-and-sour sauce, soy sauce, fortune cookies or forks. I don't have to look--it's all in there. We had a family dinner here on our travels this summer. Wow...sooooo amazing! I'm from San Francisco's and have had a lot of amazing Chinese food in Chinatown. Service is excellent but I don't really know if I can recommend as food is not bad just not good either. Extremely bland. Husband ordered extra spicy Hunan beef and had no flavor. I ordered broccoli beef and beef tasted boiled. Like all the flavor had been removed. Main dish was freshly cooked and hot but soup was cold. Hot and spicy soup was neither hot nor spicy. Love their lo mein, pot stickers, fried rice, and their mongolian beef. This is the Chinese place that delivers which is really awesome. The food arrives hot and the delivery people are friendly. I dined in once in 2014 so I won't comment except to say they had hot sake. I believe they still serve at least beer. I've never had a delivery longer than 40 minutes and the food has never been anything but hot and delicious. read more

Don't waste your time. Trying to get delivery was a joke. They told me they were not doing delivery then refused to take my order for a later time. I finally was able to order a delivery after quite some time. Once I received my food, it was incorrect and was awful. Most went into the trash. This is the best Chinese food option in Gillette. The menu is filled with all the standards, and I have always found them to be adequately prepared and fairly tasty. Most of the food is not spectacular, but when I am in the mood for Chinese food, this place satisfies the craving. The Mongolian beef is decent, though a little sweet, and the sweet and sour chicken is always reliably good. The sweet and sour soup is also quite tasty. My hub and i went to this place yesterday as they had just opened. We were just traveling thru and decided to stop. We selected a few items and returned to our table. Every single dish was cold i mean not even lukewsrm. Only the soup was really hot. We decided right then to leave as not only cold but the food did not taste good. We told the server we were leaving and she told some guy we assume the manager why we were leaving. I said you just opened but everything is just cold. He began to argue and we turned and walked out. We weren't expecting superior Chinese food and we didn't find it. But it was tasty enough to eat. When I ordered Orange Chicken the server asked if I wanted it mild, regular or spicy. I asked for spicy; it was so bland I wonder what mild was like. The pork with garlic sauce wouldn't have been bad if there were more than 5 pieces of pork in it and it had any garlic. Mostly it was sauteed onion and water chestnuts. The place was crowded on a weekday and two of the tables were all Asians speaking languages I couldn't understand. Even though this little restaurant has had its flaws since the new ownership. It is still a gold star in my eyes. What the food didn't reach, the customer service did. My family had the nicest server you could ever imagine catering to our needs. Always had our drinks filled and the food was ready so quickly. Everyone's dish was fantastic.
