Victor and his team painted my kitchen cabinets from the brown to white in October 2021 so this review is long overdue. It's June 2022 and the work him and team did is still holding up well. I highly recommend Great Walls painting if you are looking for someone to paint your kitchen cabinets. The finish in the cabinets is super smooth and you can see from the pics they took great care when painting the cabinets. At the conclusion of the job, I found his crew also exhibited those same characteristics. His crew demonstrated a high level of competence and the quality of work was high. They worked diligently through 100 degrees heat, and stayed focused on doing a good job. There are a couple of areas where they can make improvements on, such as maintaining better tidinesses and I made those suggestions to Victor. What's important is the quality of work was high. Let me start out by saying my house was a disaster and was probably worse than yours! Through a combination of bad initial prep, the wrong paint and waiting far too long to repaint, my house literally had sheets of paint peeling off of the walls, curled paint barely sticking to to badly weathered wood window sills and was just a horrible mess to look at. I had 8 painting companies come to give me estimates to repaint and 3 of them flat out refused to even supply a bid because they said it would be too much work and make too big of a mess. I eventually decided to hire Great Walls Painting for several reasons. First, Victor was the quickest to respond out of any of the companies that I contacted. When he came over he looked everything over and gave me an estimate on the spot. His bid was one of the lowest and was the only one to include the cost of paint and materials. Victor came across as being the most knowledgeable of any of the estimators and explained what would need to be done and how long it should take noting that it would be a lot of work and could take slightly longer depending on how bad it actually turned out to be. He didn't make excuses and empty promises and was one of the only people to show an actual interest in taking on the job. When work started the guys showed up on time every day and worked hard until they clocked out at the end of the day. Victor came by regularly to check on the progress and make sure we were happy and informed. Due to weather delays and other issues beyond anyone's control it did take longer than expected but in the end the house turned out beautifully and I am very pleased with it. Is it a perfect work of art? No. To get to that level would have required significant restoration work and weeks of prep work - not days. In the end I felt that the work that they did was an excellent compromise of cost versus benefit. The house is solid now, looks good and is well protected from the elements which is exactly what I wanted. If you are looking to get your house painted you would do well to get an estimate from Victor. I would definitely recommend Great Walls Painting. read more

Oh wow! I am more than happy with the results. Did a color match paint job and nails/holes repair across multiple areas of the home. Here's the experience 1. I used the Request for a Quote through Yelp. Victor responded under 1 hour and we kept chatting over text. Victor was so easy to communicate with. 2. He scheduled a next day on-site estimation and was very clear on the work, pricing, and recommendations. He also went through the old paint in the garage to see if he could find the right colors/paint for each section. For the ones he could not find a match, he took the time to color match and bought the right paint for the job. He was very patient to explain what each can of paint was for and what he was looking for. 3. We scheduled for the work to be done the following week. Victor and his crew showed up on time all ready to go. They went straight to work, no fuss no hassle. 4. Throughout the job and post work inspection, they were very open to feedback and identification of more problem areas to resolve and did it with zero complaints. If anything, it felt like they wanted me to point out issues they missed. 5. After the job is done, they cleaned up and took out the trash. They also protected the areas that should not be messed up by the paint job. I'm looking at the walls now, the home feels like it got a beautiful refresh and I am enjoying staring at the painted walls. Feels really good and makes the home so much more fun to be in. Even though being friendly is not needed as it is more important to show good results and show up on time, Victor is a very friendly person to work with. That's a nice bonus! We are so pleased with the great job that Victor and his company did on a property we have purchased. I posted an for a painter for my house and Victor called me immediately. He was very polite and offered to come by for a consultation that same day. Victor came by my house and gave me a great quote for the exterior and interior painting of my house as well as repainting the cabinets. I have met a few painters and I knew right away that Victor was serious about his craft and his business and offered expert opinions on colors and designs. We were able to come to an agreement on a fair price to do the exterior and interior painting as well as the cabinets. He got started the next day at 8 a.m. as he said he would. Brought a crew of very highly skilled painters to my house and did a very thorough job on protecting the floors and the rest of the house from overspray on the paint. Victor quoted me approximately 7 days to finish the job and he was done in 6 days. His crew worked very hard and detailed-oriented. He was able to pick up the paint from me while I was working and was very clear in his Communications. Victor is a straight shooter and very honest and very reachable. Before decided on hiring Great Walls Painting for both my house's interior including removing popcorn ceilings and exterior paintings, I did lots of online research and got quite a few quotes. Victor is very thorough , quick and responsive during the bidding process. He even helped me get some samples from my popcorn ceilings to send for asbestos testing. I felt so much better when the asbestos testing report shows negative. However, this does not mean it would be an easier job for anyone to remove the popcorn ceilings. Victor explained in details on how his team would tackle this interior painting job and is very confident with very competitive quotes. I decided to give both jobs to Victor trusting they will do good jobs. The interior paintings job was done back in February. I have to admit that I was not prepared and did not know that removing the popcorn ceilings was so brutal and I could not even stay in my house for a week. Nevertheless, Victor's crew did wonderful job in protecting my furniture, floors, especially my newly remodeled kitchen! And my house looks like a brand new house after the interior paintings were done . The exterior paints were just completed yesterday and I could not be happier with the results.
