I used to be a big supporter of Great White Junk Removal. I went back to them many, many times since we are constantly doing a lot of restorations on our house. I also always recommend them to my family and friends. Then I had them come out and sent them photos of the junk needing to be removed. I got a quote but when they came out they doubled the price. I shrugged it off as a fluke. The next time I had them come out, again I sent them photos, they gave me a price, but once more they doubled the price when they got here. We were erked but decided to let it go. The 3rd time, we sent photos, got the quote and, you guessed it, once they arrived they doubled the price. After 3 times in a row of them low balling a quote and then doubling it when they arrived I came to realize that this was now their standard operating procedure. I never used Great White again. So I give them 2 stars, because they used to be a great company. read more

Great White Junk never paid for the window they broke while removing junk from my garage. On 2/17/22, Jesse sent his crew to my property to remove junk. His crew broke my garage window while hauling junk out of my garage. I called Jesse and he sounded very professional on the phone and presented himself well promissing me that he would make this right. I reluctantly paid him for the junk hauling as he assured me that he would reimburse me the cost to fix my window. Two days later I sent him a my receipt for $325 for my window repair. Jesse never responded to my messages about reimbursing me on 3/28/22, 4/6/22, and 4/7/22. Then on 4/8/22 I messaged him again, and he implied that he would reimburse me by asking how I wanted to receive my payment. I messaged him again on 4/18/22, 4/22/22, and 5/11/2022, no response. It cost me more money to fix the broken window caused by Jesse and Great White Junk, then what it cost for them to do my junk hauling project. It's been 3 months since Jesse and Great White Junk broke my window, and no follow through on making this situation right. Jesse and Great White Junk are irresponsible. If they cause any property damage while hauling your junk, don't pay them regardless of what they say as they will not follow through. They don't take care of their customers. read more

I had a huge clean up job and had a budget. I contacted Great White and they picked up. In order to provide the most accurate quote they requested that I send pictures. I expected to get them pictures the next day...but life happens and I couldn't get around to doing it. Great White texted me a gentle reminder to provide the pictures which I greatly appreciated. I finally provided pictures and they were very prompt at providing a quote. And guess what, they reminded me that I hadn't sent a picture of one of the areas we talked about during our phone call. That let me know they were paying attention. Which gave me a good feeling that they would be thorough. I also had to reschedule with them a couple times and they were very flexible offering different options. That's amazing! It was very easy to communicate with them as they were very responsive and often times initiated contact/reminders. Again great...because life happens. I mentioned that I would go to the clean up shards and do some preemptive bagging but their per truck pricing included everything. Going through every cabinet, closet, shelf and nook and cranny. We were schedule at a certain time and they let me know that they were going to delayed before I could check in with them. They showed themselves honest by not only holding true to the estimate they provided but also because they returned some important information that my mother hid from herself. I only gave a one star because it didn't allow me to put non! Yesterday my husband and I called to have an estimate to which seemed fair. We asked what time they were available they said afternoon which is usually 12-1 when you say afternoon. We tried to reach them to ask for an ETA they didn't answer or respond until about 1-2 stating they would come around 3-4. I had an appointment as i mentioned to them and wasn't able to make that time. Instead of suggesting another day or time they told me we could call elsewhere. As it was a big necessity for us to remove the junk we asked them to give us the morning appointment that they stated was available. They never responded. We called and text with no answer then tried again in the morning it wasn't until we sent a message and called a couple of times of them forwarding our call that they finally text us to tell us they didn't have anymore availability.
