In the beginning I was skeptical about having my old mattress being picked up when I can just go do it myself. But after a brief five minute speed search I stumbled upon Junk King Stockton. The appointment system is extremely easy to follow and accomplish. I did have trouble finding an estimate for my junk to be removed but after looking through their site on my phone I found what I was looking for. Their estimates are spot on! I was content with my decision until I realized at midnight the night before my appointment date that no one was going to be home in the early hours of the day I sent them an email and a text at 11pm last night and actually got a response at 3am! Which is just incredible customer service if you ask me. They changed the time for me by a few hours which was perfect. The Junk King has come through for me. I am so thankful! I moved and the items discarded were bagged and stacked neatly for pick up. Someone was supposed to pick the items up and all of a sudden stopped responding. During that time the homeless rummaged through and made the huge mess below. My father passed away in Dec and we needed help with the clean out of his decades-long home in Escalon. Before we chose Junk King, we requested an estimate via telephone. The woman we spoke to was very friendly and got us set up with a date and time. I received a confirmation via text that day, a reminder the day before, and a phone call from Steven the morning of. He came during the timeframe provided and was very knowledgeable and confident about his team's abilities and what their truck could haul. The price was right and we decided to go with them. The team of 4 came bright and early on a rainy Sat morning and began hauling furniture right away - it was amazing how quickly they worked and how much they could fit in the back of their big truck! We needed multiple loads taken, as Dad was a collector of random things. Steven called for another truck and more guys, and they showed up promptly to help. It was still the same price! I utilized Junk King in March of this year (2020), and they were reasonably priced. However, my latest experience is they upcharged me big time! It was estimated online at $130-$180 and I spent $250. My last haul was larger than the current and it was under $200. Beware, I would use another company or confirm an estimate before they haul! read more

Schedule an appointment for an estimate and the main person that I spoke to was very polite. The other 2 young men were bullshitting and playing around which I found it was a bit unprofessional and disrespectful. I waited to see if they could lower the price or match the price of another competitor as advertised which they did not. I was told 500 then lowered to $388... Finally I just contacted the competitor I went with $250 it was 2 men very respectful Quiet And quickly got the job done. Possibly if the 2 young men wouldn't be joking around about my trash in my property I wouldn't have had an issue being flexible for $380. read more

I was quoted a very high price. The guy (who claimed to be the owner) told me I could give him $200 in cash under the table to do the work and I could cancel my services. There was just something fishy about this company. They said they price you by how full their truck is but, they had already filled the truck with other people's things. We were desperate so we ended up paying them what they wanted, which was more than it should have been. We will never use their services again and will not recommend them. Just had two awesome guys from Junk King; Daniel Herrera (The Manager of Tracy) and his peer, dismantle my back patio, a large section of fence, cleaned the side and the debris that was behind the large section of fencing in Tracy Ca. Daniel came to the house for a free estimate the week before to look at the job and quote me a very reasonable price. He said "You don't pay until the job is to your complete satisfaction." These guys were THE BEST! Completely removed EVERYTHING I asked for and MORE. They even trimmed a tree, removed HUGE blocks of cement and cleared dead ivy that was growing. They really took the effort and careful consideration to make my yard and the job look AMAZING. These guys were beasts; strong and efficient! I thought it would take 4 to 5 hours they did it in under 2. It would have taken me a couple days even with help. I also had a cherry tree out front of the fence that had fallen over in the past; they dragged it around the outside and placed it BEHIND the fence without me even asking; my cat and dogs were thrilled with the yard and more running space, it looks PERFECT! I was looking for a service to come pick up all of my fathers stuff when he passed away and came across this company. I live in another state but they were very easy to schedule with. They responded quickly to my inquiry and were even flexible when I had to push my scheduled date back. I signed up for a window for them to come between 10-12 and they called me before ten to say they were on their way! They gave me an estimate on the spot that sounded incredibly fair--we had 30+ years of junk piled up, a couch, construction debris...and they took it all! This place is an absolute rip off and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They want you to take everything to the front for you then charge a ridiculous amount.
