A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.

They were flexible in working with us to put together a trip that fit our time constraints. They were even good enough to schedule picture-perfect weather for our day although I'm not sure how they did that. They were all set when we arrived, gave a quick safety talk, and took a group picture before we headed onto the water. The guides were great with those in our group that were apprehensive about kayaking while giving our experienced paddlers the freedom to fully enjoy the river while still making sure the young people were in safe water. Our experienced paddlers were the ones who set the pace for our trip with the guides pointing out things of interest on the shoreline (or the eagles that popped up several times overhead). With the speed of the river that day (it does vary) and the amount of paddling we did, we arrived at our take-out point at just the right time where I bus awaited us. The pictures FRKC posted on Facebook of our trip were also a really nice touch. I'm looking forward to booking with them again.

We stayed at the Peshtigo outpost, but did activities at both Peshtigo and Menominee outpost. At the Peshtigo outpost, there are camping facilities for any level of camper. The zipline was awesome, and the views were beautiful! We did the rafting at Peshtigo in single person rafts and it could not have been more fun and picturesque! The alpine tower was tricky for me, but not for the rest of my group, they soared through it! EVERY SINGLE guide we had was so friendly and so kind! We can't wait to come back and stay longer! When we first got on the boards my daughter got scared because she drifted away from us and couldn't control the board very well. When Kim saw my daughter was having trouble she went over to her and stayed with her until she was comfortable. She taught her how to steer and control her board. we booked 6/20 12-2 cave kayak tour for 4 people. we got there at 1130 as stated in the email, then…read morewere told we were too early. we returned at 1145, then waited until about 1215 to load the bus because we were missing another group who never showed. we got on the water around 1230/1245, then at 1:29 we're told we need to cut the trip short and turn around due to white caps in the water. although, no other group turned around, and new groups were continuing to depart. we were told by our tour guide Anna, that because the trip was cut short and we didn't make it to the caves, we would be refunded some of the trip. upon check out, we were charged the entire total and told she needed to speak with managment. we called the next day, and the manager stated "well this is the first time I heard of this" as if it was our responsibility to alert the company. she agreed to refund us $180 (half of the trip). I received the refund, then 2 days later, was charged $180 by them and they took the refund back? I called and left a voicemail but have not heard back. would recommend choosing a different company!!!!!!
