II had a health scare which briefly delayed our ability to go to market and the market changed just enough in that time that we missed a bigger sale price, but she rode it out with us She didn't let us accept a lowball offer yet she kept our expectations grounded and realistic. We got a good deal on a reasonable amount of time on the market. Last year we had a condo we wanted to sell. We learned nothing about the house after the tour. It is a seller's market but the listing agent should still do his due diligence to help the seller score the best possible offer. The listing agent was not interested in talking to any buyers, we tied to ask him questions and he would not answer anything because he is so busy(pretending) watching the traffic and saying bye and hi to people he knows. And he would not let anyone park at available spot at the open house, because he was saving the spot for his daughter. His daughter can not answer anything about the house but was standing in the kitchen blocking people from checking it out, so unprofessional. Any one trying to sell their house should avoid him because he did not do any thing to market the house to prospective buyers. The photos of the house are bad, no listing sheet at the open house, only materials at the open house were his mortgage partner's information. Horrible! My experience was fantastic from the start. Jeff sat down with me himself to go over the entire lease in detail and discuss how things would work in different scenarios (if I decided to add a roommate, if I needed to break the lease, etc.). I felt respected as an individual and appreciated the additional effort to ensure that we had a clear mutual understanding of the contract - especially as a single woman. Everything went smoothly from the processing of my deposit (and receipt that my security was deposited in the appropriate type of account) to hand-off of keys. The apartment was reasonably clean at move-in and the building itself well-maintained throughout my tenancy. All my fellow tenants were tidy and respectful. There were water issues twice during my time there: once, the upstairs neighbor's kitchen leaked, causing water to come through my ceiling. They had someone there to fix it within half an hour. The second occasion occurred when I was away visiting family: a radiator valve in my apartment had an issue which caused water to come through the ceiling of the tenant below me; Michael and Jeff were very respectful and communicative with me about entering my apartment then, asking about my pets, and letting me know what had been done. This was overall a 10/10 renting experience. Any time I had a question or concern, I received a response in under an hour. And, when I had to break my newly-signed second year lease due to personal circumstances, Michael was quick to find a new tenant so that I wouldn't have to pay more in rent than necessary. He also worked with the new tenant to give me an additional week to return from out-of-state to pack my things. Keywords here: professional, courteous, and responsive. Jeff and Lisa have always answered my calls and texts right away and they have always come through when repairs have been needed. Just this weekend our water heater broke, leaking water everywhere. Within 24 hours of my first phone call Jeff had a plumber here installing a brand new water heater. A plumber on a Sunday?....Outstanding! If that doesn't tell you what this management company is all about than I don't know what will. They are just superb. We love living here and we highly recommend Capitol Realty.
