Before getting to know them, two aspects of their business really stood out to us (we met with multiple agents before choosing Boston Home Team): their incredible listing services - especially the photos/videos they provide (I am especially fussy about this as a full-time professional photographer myself) - and the fact that they come in and spend a good chunk of time working with the homeowner on the staging aspect. This ended up being my favorite part of the experience - working with Meredith to make our home look its absolute best. She has phenomenal taste and also offers additional items to fill gaps where needed. On Craigslist, he advertised it as "two large bedrooms with smaller living area," and when we were viewing the apartment, he claimed that the current resident was just using the larger bedroom as a living room. I came home, found the property's website and floor plans online. Lo and behold, this was in fact just an overpriced one-bedroom, not a two-bedroom at all. There were two-bedroom apartments in the building, but this wasn't one of them. The deception wasn't huge, since he did make the disclaimer "with smaller living area," but if the building's management clearly says it's a one-bedroom, why do you have to lie about it? Not exactly the best way to gain customers' trust.
