Been there three times, and each time waited for 45 or more minutes after my appointment time before I was taken into the back... only to wait more. I was assured each time "it's not normally this bad," with some excuse. 2. Reception staff was snotty and dismissive. First time I was there I was treated like an idiot because I was unfamiliar with their check-in procedures. At one point, after waiting nearly an hour to have a cast removed, I went and asked when I'd be seen "your next" was the only answer I could get. After two other people were called in two minutes later and before me, I inquired about my 'next' status. The answer was "you're next for YOUR Dr.; there are other Doctors that work here, you know..." Seriously? 3. They made me pay up front for a brace that I needed, insisting that "the way it normally works" is that they bill my insurance provider who then reimburses them, and they reimburse me. I'm sure that would have been true... had they ever actually billed my insurance provider for the brace... so now I'm left doing to leg work to get my money back. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. If you don't, I wish you luck.

Anton Matveev is a liar, has a horrible patient side manner to include assault & a terrible memory…read more Upon my 1st visit I was explaining military incidents & VA treatments & he asked if I was sure I was receiving that treatment. I think it's unprofessional to ask me if I'm lying about VA treatment. Matveev could of asked for my clinical notes to read the specifics so that a patient doesn't know his internal feelings that he thinks we're liars or can't remember our specific treatment methods. At that same visit, even though I brought all my MRI discs in with me, he was dismissive & stated he believes my pain only stems from my neck & radiates downward. I reiterated the neck & other locations happened different years in the military & are separate. I showed him the report & told him they uploaded my MRI of my other location. Matveev then said he can do an ultrasound & take a look to verify. Upon doing an ultrasound he stated he did see the injuries BUT he never apologized for being dismissive. Matveev discussed hydrodissection & I asked for the ingredients since I'm allergic to some things. He gave it to me & I looked it up & told him that was ok to use on me. We set a follow-up appt BUT at that follow-up appt for my 1st set of injections I'm asking him about the specifics and he wouldn't answer me. After the injections he tells me he altered the procedure & didn't use dextrose because he thought I was allergic. I had to remind him that I looked it up in front of him & told him it was ok. I also told him I'm not use to a medical employee not going over the procedure prior to it starting. You can't make a decision without an individual approving that beforehand. A patient's body is not "property" of anyone. Matveev also unprofessionally compared my injuries to other patients my age. Since I'm not an identical twin in DNA to anyone & you don't treat my blood related family, then you can't compare me to strangers. To have an idea about a person's potential "degenerative" path, you must compare older blood family members such as siblings, parents and/or grandparents. If my blood related elders are perfectly healthy in their bone structure and joints etc., then my injuries incurred in my 20s have nothing to do with "normal degenerative" findings for a person my age based off of strangers my age. This verbiage is a constant unprofessional take on individualized care. Matveev then wanted to talk about my aggravated body language & why I seem I'm displeased when he speaks. So I discussed the above with him. I told him my pet peeve is being called a liar & you don't know me, so speaking in that manner is always going to set me off. Then I said do you know how often a female is asked questions like "are you sure you own this home by yourself?..." etc. Matveev only then humbled himself & said he now hears it & apologized for his verbiage. My last appointment which was the final straw. I told him that the VA did a painful procedure (because I keep all physicians informed in different networks). He asked me to stand up & face the wall away from him while he sat behind me. He grabbed my shoulders & swiftly turned me to the right & said I need you to turn like that for me. A sharp pain stabbed me due to the VA procedure location. I told him you CANNOT turn me like that. The next task he did the same thing again. I told him not to do that again. Then he lied and said I needed 2 separate appts on 2 different days to accomplish the next series of injections. He stated insurance doesn't allow 2 appointments with the same medical person on the same day. I decided to not call him out in his lie. I was getting a procedure covered by insurance & another procedure I was paying out of pocket so the out of pocket procedure has nothing to do with insurance for regenerative services. So there would only be 1 appt that involved insurance but at this point with the unwanted physical touching and the history of his unprofessional behavior & narratives, I was done. There are better & cheaper regenerative places I now know about like ROSM.

I had no idea that they never received the confirmation from Worker's Comp. but continue to send me confirmations for my appointment. I showed up here for my appointment only to be met at the registration desk with "we do not have a confirmation from your Worker's Comp". I proceeded to say why wasn't I informed that nobody got a confirmation and it's been three weeks? Some blame shifting took place. I was very upset that I drove here 30 minutes away and to wait about two hours to not be seen nor met with any compassion for this situation at hand. The way in which the conversation took place, you would have thought that it was my fault, and I should have confirmed with them, though I am the one who seeking help from a five star orthopedic. This is unfortunate. Maybe you will have a different experience, but I just wasted three hours driving to and from and waiting there just to not be seen. Awful!

Every single time, he's gone above and beyond. His bedside manner is outstanding--he listens, explains things clearly, and genuinely cares about his patients. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to see him (kudos to his staff for running a well organized office and schedule for this busy doctor). He said it was nothing and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and rest. I took about a month off before I started training again, with no issues. I was training for the Marine Corps Marathon, got up to 15 miles, headed out for my 18 mile run and my knee gave out completely. I went back to see the doctor and he diagnosed me with tendinitis, prescribed PT and rest. I took 6 MONTHS off. I spent those 6 months in PT, following orders, doing exercises, etc. I saw him during a 3 month check up and he said I was making progress. When I was discharged from PT, I got the ok to start running again. For 3 months, I gradually built my running back up and got the ok to run a Half Marathon...the Nike Women's Half. At Mile 8, my knee gave out. I went to see a different doctor (Dr. Annunziata). He called for an MRI (something Dr. Pandarinath had never done) and diagnosed me with IT Band Syndrome...which has the complete opposite symptoms of tendinitis. A runner with a knee injury and you don't take an MRI? Even I questioned that. So, now it's May, I'm almost a year out from an injury that typically has a 6-8 week recovery time, and I'm just now starting to recover because of his misdiagnosis. Oh, and I would say his wait times were decent...except for that one time I waited for 90 minutes in his office and he never showed up.

I previously had the same surgery on my right foot with a different orthopedic surgeon, and the recovery was extremely long and painful. Because of that experience, I was honestly nervous going into this procedure. However, Dr. Schipper completely changed my expectations. I experienced minimal pain and very little swelling, and the healing process was fast and smooth. The incision work was excellent -- only three small incisions that healed beautifully. The difference in recovery compared to my prior surgery was night and day. Dr. Schipper is not only highly skilled but also very kind and reassuring. He takes time to explain everything and makes you feel prepared and comfortable before surgery. The office staff is also wonderful -- responsive, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. You can truly tell he is very experienced in this procedure. He is also board certified and is known to be one of the best Orthopedic Surgeons in the area. As far as the general office, it could use an update, and they're always behind schedule. The last time I went, my appointment was for 4:15 and didn't get called back until 5:30 PM. After that, I sat in the room for quite awhile longer. Having said that, they do have postings on the wall that alert you to the fact that they often run behind, so I guess we are expected to expect it. I watched several people walk out the other day. I have a complicated problem, so I got a second opinion from another OS at Johns Hopkins, and he pretty much agreed with Dr. Schreiber. This tells me that Schreiber is quite good. I like him when I can't get up to Baltimore, and I think he is the best that the area has to offer. That's probably why he's often behind and backed up. I'd recommend him to a friend/family member. Just be sure you have time to wait.

I had a right Hip Arthroscopy for FAI with Labrum Reconstruction on 4-19-2024. Immediately after surgery my hip pain was gone and the recovery was a breeze. I do not know if I am the exception but I was walking without crutches by day 11-12 without any issues. I Had hip labrum reconstructive surgery with Dr. Wolffe, and for over a year he insisted that the…read moreongoing pain in my hip was due to inflammation. I went back to him every 2 to 3 months for that year explaining to him that I was diligent with my physical therapy and taking the medication he told me to take, and yet the hip wasn't getting any better. But He continued to insist it was ongoing inflammation for over a year. Since he wasn't willing to consider what else it might be or offer any other solutions to help me, I went out and got a second opinion. So I saw another surgeon, and after he operated on me, he determined that I had extensive scarring inside my hip binding the hip flexor muscles to the hip capsule. After he removed all the scar tissue from my hip, it was much better and pain free. Dr. Wolff refused to consider that anything else may be going on, and so he wasn't able to help me. While a nice man, I found that he was rushed during our appointments and he wasn't always in the moment. So I don't feel he was always listening to what I had to say. Regardless, him continuing to insist my pain was due to inflammation for an entire year wasn't really him thinking about what else the problem might be or to consider other solutions.
