Second, while exiting the doctor's office on Aug, 18, 2021, Tonya asked me to step around the corner to get my referral and other information. I asked her why, am I stepping out into the waiting room to discuss my medical information. "She reply rudely", that was the office rule. So I had to go around the corner to discussed me scheduling and other information that was use with a previous dr. in front of all the patients. Tonya is the same lady, didn't waited on me, when I enter the office to sign in, because there was no "sign in sheet" She continued her personal conversation with another patients, while I waited. "I said excuse me, I need to sign in" Third, after two telephone conversation with Samantha and Tonya, I asked why, I had to drive 3 hours (total) to give more blood work, when I was coming back in as a new patient and the phlebotomist should have drawn enough. Fast forward, after calling the office back and being deny the opportunity to speak to the office manager, I was able to reach the nurse xxxx. She said it was ok to come in on the 31th to give blood. Tonya called today, Aug 30 to cancel my appointment for blood work and refuse to listen to what I had to say about me coming in for blood and not results, after she left me a message to not to come in on the 31th. There's no communication in the office, and finally after she refuse to listen to what I was saying, Tonya told me to FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. Not only, did this office disregard my medical information and shared with a third party (patients) in the waiting room, I'm just lost for words, of the unprofessional staff at the front desk and refusing medical service in the middle of my visits. I'm forward to my insurance company and HHS.GOV.

I asked them to remove this as most people don't need to hear it 14 months later. dr. Danubia Hester referred me to a breast specialist and on the order she said I have breast cancer. I have not been told I have breast cancer so this is news to me. in fact I have been told I don't have breast cancer so which is it????? I have asked them to write a new order and remove it. they said they would but weeks later. nothing. so the breast specialist is going to have to jump through hoops because this office can't even write a correct order. I am going to report Ms. Hester for giving misleading inaccurate information. AVOID THIS PRACTICE

However they will still keep a caucasian worker who has done more call outs than anyone and has no kids. Beware of this office they are prejudice.

She was kind, empathetic, and like an aunt. I was terrified and scared of having a biopsy in my breast, as I had never had one before and the fear of cancer took over. Miss Theresa came in, spoke with me, and let me know that it would be painless and I shouldn't be scared. However, after leaving the facility because they couldn't do the biopsy that day due to not seeing a clear view of my diagnostic mammogram, today's experience was a whole different level. If I could give a zero, I definitely would. My appointment time was at 8:30 a.m., and my check-in time was at 8:15 a.m. I filled out all the necessary paperwork beforehand. I arrived at the office exactly at 8:30. All I needed to do was sign the breast implant form that's not available for online, and that would have been it. But instead, a staff member argued with me in the open lobby, saying, 'You were supposed to be here at 8:00 a.m.' I said, 'No, it's 8:15 check-in. I've filled out the paperwork already. It's now 8:30. Why can't I get my procedure?' She got on the phone, talking to someone, and then again, out loud, said, 'No, you were supposed to be here regardless.' I was shocked and stunned. I thought they would just go ahead and allow me to get it done since I was on time for my appointment. It was bad enough that I struggled for weeks on the fence about getting this done, only to be turned away. I was so afraid that I literally stayed up all night. Now I have to do this all over again to pump myself up to go. I'm leaning on the side of not getting it done because I'm just tired. Women are dying every day from breast cancer, and for this office to be so careless, harsh, and nasty, I just left speechless. Then they wanted to reschedule me, but I don't want anything to do with that company ever again. Ladies, if you are having issues, stay away from this place because they don't care about you or your situation. It's not even about the money; they just don't want to do their jobs.

The new office is beautiful and clean. It has an onsite laboratory, sonography suite (includes 3-d imaging), a large waiting area and more than enough rooms to service patients. I have visited the practice several times and service has been consistent. Dr. Cooke, Dr. Edmonds and all of the rest of the staff are professional and attentive to their patients needs. I am always greeted with a warm smile and a can-do attitude from all staff members. I would recommend this practice again and again. They listen to their patients. I previously had issues at the old office with some staff and wait times. I talked to Dr. Cooke regarding my concerns and the action taken was above and beyond. Waldorf women's care also cared for me when I needed to have a tube removed after an second ectopic pregnancy, again the Doctor was stellar and I recovered better than I imagined. The doctor left minimal incision marks from my laparoscopic surgery and ensured that my other tube was healthy and that I could try to conceive again. The Doctors confidence, positive energy left my husband and I confident and ready to plan for our next baby. I am forever grateful to the Doctors and staff at Waldorf Women's Care and look forward to my little girls arrival in July.

During that appointment, I expressed several concerns regarding my symptoms. Rather than receiving an explanation or follow-up, I was simply instructed to check my patient portal for my test results. Unfortunately, the information posted there did not address any of the concerns I had raised. Am I supposed to assume that "no news is good news"? That is not an acceptable substitute for meaningful communication regarding my health. Additionally, my physician advised me that I would receive a follow-up phone call to discuss my concerns. That call never came. Regarding my outstanding balance, I was notified only through a text message containing a payment link. While I appreciate the convenience of electronic payment options, I believe patients should continue to receive a detailed billing statement--either by mail or as an email attachment--for their personal records. Such a statement should clearly itemize the charges, explain the balance due, and document the services provided, particularly when I have a considerable expense to incur for one office visit I am also increasingly concerned by what appears to be a growing disconnect between patients and meaningful human interaction. When I did reach someone by phone, I felt as though I was speaking with someone who had little training or is unable to answer even basic questions. This experience is inconsistent with your organization's claim of providing empathetic care. In my opinion, too many healthcare providers are cutting corners in ways that diminish the quality of patient service. Efficiency should never come at the expense of communication, accountability, and compassionate care. Patients deserve to feel heard, informed, and supported--not directed to a portal or a payment link with little or no personalized attention. Unfortunately, my experience has left me with the impression that financial efficiency has become a higher priority than patient care. As a result, I have decided to seek a healthcare provider whose practice places greater value on communication, responsiveness, and genuine concern for its patients. G. Butler (Waldorf, MD)

In the past at a larger radiology place in Waldorf, I've been able to schedule two exams for one visit. However I was told this was not an option so I scheduled the one I thought was the most urgent first. Tech could not start the IV after a few tries which was fine. However when I returned for the next MRI a few days later I was told the exam was marked as incomplete Siri the fact the last tech could not get the IV in for the dye. The tech performing the next MRI was able to get the IV and finish the first MRI and second. Days later and I still have no report from either exam. I have no problem with the techs performing the MRIs, they seemed to do the best they could with what appeared to be limited help. However, Tower seems to have no sense of urgency. I went with Tower because they could get me in sooner. However this has not made a difference and at this point I should have just went with another imaging spot. The patient portal is also bootleg. I will absolutely never go here again. I will stick with another bigger name radiology company that has moved into a brand new building. This place may be good for routine imaging, this maybe's good spot but I absolutely would not recommend for an urgent concern.
