"Katie" was always available to answer my pre-op questions (medications, etc.) and I felt very comfortable when I arrived at the Center. From the phone calls to planning my procedure to checking in . . went as smoothly as it could of... All papers and instructions were exactly as KATIE the scheduling/receptionist had relayed. She helped me through this process, was very knowledgeable of all answers to the questions that I had. Very courteous too. The nurse ANGELA who actually helped me get ready for surgery was very considerate and hospitable. I'm sure she could tell I was very nervous. She made sure I was comfortable and checked on me frequently. Keeping me informed to any information that was needed. Masks and social distancing were inforced as much as possible. I would recommend this surgical center. They took very good care of me. Thank you ....

They didn't do anything either other than a CXR. Patient First Clinton MD. said they could not drain the fluid in my elbow because they do not do that at Patient First Clinton MD. Ok but you're Urgent Care. Anyway Patient First Clinton MD. recommended OrthoVirginia specifically the Walker Lane office. I was told they're really good and could remove the fluid. Even when I made the appointment, the representative said call OrthoVirginia Walker Lane and make sure the doctor can remove the fluid. I called the office and a staffer told me the doctor can remove the fluid. When I got there to sign in I should have known this was going to be a mess when another patient came out yelling how rude one of the staffer was to her. When the doctor came in she said she doesn't do that. If she sticks a needle in there it could get infected or may return. I wanted to say well why did a staffer say you could remove the fluid? But I was dumbfounded and speechless I just listen to what she had to say. She told me the fluid will go away on its own to buy a paddle elbow sleeve. Mind you the fluid in my elbow has collected so much that it looks like a plum on the inside of my elbow. I wasted my time and money at both Patient First in Clinton MD and OrthoVirginia Walker Lane. Paying co-pays to both places for them to do nothing but take my money. It cost me $100 to buy a $12 padded elbow sleeve. I don't recommend OrthoVirginia Walker Lane.

I had previously gone to another physician who had me on a plan of action, but when it wasn't relieving the pain that Dr. became frustrated. Dr. Jander heard me out told me a diagnosis the other Dr. had not, and we confirmed through nerve testing. I had surgery for carpal tunnel on April 24th 2015. All has gone very well. I was pleased and so was he with the outcome. He takes the time to explain everything to you. Any question I have ever asked, he had an answer. He is very kind, you are never left feeling like you are a bother or wasting his time. He is a great physician! The office experience: Reaching them via phone is a process! My primary care physician also had trouble reaching them. The wait to see the doctor can be long. Very long. My average visits, the lobby wait time had been 45-60 minutes and an additional wait once in the room of 15-30 minutes. Front desk staff was cordial not overly friendly but not rude either. The nurses were great always upbeat and helpful. Schedule your next appointment while there to save time on the phone. Billing: It was a good experience. I hadn't experienced any issues or ever asked to pay more than a copay. They use tablets to check you in. Overall I would recommend Dr. Jander. His services are excellent...and for me with waiting for. If you hate a long wait you may want to go elsewhere Facility 3 stars. Amazing doctors earned the 4th for me.

My doctor recommended Cortisone Shots in my knees. I was against taking the shots due to known side effects in addition to my age The practice also has my previous medical history. My doctor advised due to the injury she needed to calm the Inflammation; I took the shots in both knees. I was also advised that there would be an elevation in my Blood Sugar however, i was not advised of other possible side effects and complications from the shots. I was diagnosed with blood clots 6 days ago and have been trying to speak with my doctor for 4 days. The receptionist advised me on Wednesday that the doctor received my Fax and the Test rests and I might receive a call from the doctor. Thank God I didn't hold my breath. I called yesterday Thursday to inquire about the request that I submitted online for an appointment that has not been responded to; the receptionist advised that she doesn"t know how online appointments are handled although the voice recording recommends using online scheduling. The receptionist placed me on hold to reach out to the doctor who advised her to tell me that, I need to reach out to my Primary Care doctor for assistance; she does not treat blood clots. It took me 4 days to get an answer and she won't speak directly with me; this is unacceptable. One other thing, this is the only Practice that I have been affiliated with where you cannot access your medical records, test results, treatment plan, nor referrals online; nor can you upload documents. I am not saying for sure however, it's been alleged on Drugs.com that shots can cause clots. (https://www.drugs.com/cg/deep-vein-thrombosis.html) What is unacceptable is the delay in getting an answer from the practice. I'm done with them after this. I was advised by the receptionist that she could not provide an email address to forward the test results from the hospital; I could either Fax or send them via U.S. Postal Mail. Disappointed beyond measure
