I haven't had a pedicure in a LONG time so my feet needed a lot of help, and Margarita was amazing. I did the $55 option, and it was great. She put so much attention into the callous removal and the massage (which also included hot stones) - it was absolutely worth it. I have been a customer of Green Brook Nails for years and have experienced getting my nails done by five different technicians, so I am very familiar with the various levels of quality of service and technical skills from the staff, as well as the customer service under both the former and new owners. The new owners have not raised their prices from what they were under the previous ownership (at least not for their LCN sets and fills) and they have also made changes that have honestly improved my experience as a customer. I no longer have to go wash the dust from my own hands prior to getting polish applied, and they have also added a heated shoulder massage at the end of each nail treatment, which has been a lovely addition. The salon itself is incredibly clean, as are the individual stations, and I love how Danny does my nails. He is meticulously detailed in his work, and I get complimented on my nails regularly by complete strangers. I also haven't experienced any decrease in the quality of customer service, professionalism, or the actual performance of services since the change in ownership. I had considered looking for a new salon when I found out that there were new owners, as like most people, I'm not particularly receptive to change, but they have more than proven themselves as capable of providing the level of service I had come to expect from the salon, and they have rightfully earned and will keep my business. read more

I was a long standing customer with the previous owner for well over 10 years. I made the choice to no longer solicit this poorly managed establishment as a result. Updating my review - I haven't been back to the nail salon in a year. This is due to 2 reasons. The first and most important reason is that my toe nails contracted a fungus. This has been nearly impossible to treat and I have 4 nails that are affected. Never thought this would happen in Green Brook (of all places) at the only nail salon I go to, and have been loyal to since I was a HS student. The second reason for updating my review is that the prices have increased a lot, and when you compare the prices here to other nail salons within driving distance this nail salon is overpriced. I almost feel bad for leaving this review but, I felt it was necessary. I miss getting pedicures and having a self-care day but I can't enjoy this now because of the situation with the nail fungus. read more

Good nails done by Kimmy. LCN always my go to, the original place I go to wasn't available called these ladies and they got me in right away! Got the dip powder manicure. Nicely done but the manicurist's surprise at how long it took to remove the SNS manicure I got at another location makes me wonder how long the Kiara Sky manicure is going to last. I was also charged an extra $10 for a rhinestone design. However it's one solid piece and it seems the gel she used to secure it was not cured completely. One already popped off when I was getting changed at home. That's one star. The other lost star is due to the fact that the gel left a diamond around the rhinestone. So I didn't have any choice except to use nail glue to hopefully reattach it. I came in with a design and they said they could recreate it. In the end, they didn't have the right colors or materials and I had to settle. However, it was a nice, clean salon and the women were all very nice. read more

Unfortunately, I was looking for a new nail salon and I came in and had the dip powder done by Kimmy. She did a pretty good job especially with my nail shape, the only issue is it took her 2 hours. She said it took that long because my nails are soooo long. I've never had that happen before. Since my nails looked pretty good I scheduled my next appointment after three weeks and they gave me a technician by the name of Roy. I showed him a picture of the design I wanted on two of my nails and asked if he could do it and he shook his head yes and said yeah. I told him that the picture had casket shaped nails and I wanted to keep my nail shape the same which is a rounded square. Once again he said yeah so I thought we were good. I happen to look down and see he's totally changing my nail shape at that point the manager Chelsea comes over to tell him again I don't want that. I realize then there's a communication barrier and ask Chelsea to make sure he knows what I want. When we were almost done he jumps up and gets mad at Chelsea saying he couldn't do the design I wanted which was just a ghost face and storms off. Chelsea gets him back after a few minutes and I ask can he just do some nice stars. Look at what he did. I believe he was using the wrong topcoat because within two days my nails were peeling and I had to go back they said they couldn't match it so they just put some pink color on top of my dip powder and sent me off not wanting to do anything else while my nails still looked bad. Then my nails continued to peel/crack and they looked dirty and I knew it was because of the topcoat he used all of the white looks dirty. I've never seen this happen before the way they're peeling look at the pictures. The final thing is that the owner seems nice but she was not concerned with my satisfaction as a customer she just suggested I switch to gel instead of dip powder because my nails are so long. You would think I have some ridiculously long nails but clearly I don't. Finally, I was very patient with them and do not mind paying more for good service but instead I paid more and received poor treatment and was basically told it's my fault because my nails are too long for dip powder! read more

Awesome place to beautify your hands and feet!! The talented staff here will definitely take care of all your needs. I have been coming to this place for years. I come back again and again because the place is extremely clean, everyone is super nice and they give me the best pedicures (they just updated their pedicure chairs which are amazing!) and gel manicures. I've never tried their LCN nails but I hear from others who have that it's the best product to wear and these ladies know what they are doing with it. They ralso very talented with nail art. Gel manicure and pedicure seemed pretty decent. Operator said she was in school to become an educator so I assumed it would be the best ever but when I got home I found both my fingernails and toe nails were catching on everything. I filed the sharp edges down and shortly after they began peeling. Things happen but that was more of an oversight than I would expect from someone who plans to teach future nail techs. Most disturbing part tho was when I was leaving. She, in a NY minute, went from kind and accommodating to psychotically screaming at another employee in the middle of the salon over nothing. I don't normally write reviews but I really like going here. I have been to many salons but this one is where I felt the most comfortable. I love coming here for my pedicures and LCN nails. Not many places do real LCN and lots of places will lie to you. I found this out the hard way when they were doing the fill and they told me the other salon did not do LCN. I tried to stop by the nail salon at 5pm just now and they were closed even though their hours read 7:30pm?? Very clean and comfortable salon. All the employees are very friendly. Good selection of gel polishes to choose from. Excellent quality of work. I'm always changing the shape of my nails and they are always able to give me what I want. Went first time on a whim for a pedicure. First impression clean and staff was very friendly! I had a blister on my heel which I showed the girl in advance just saying I didn't want the surrounding area exfoliated. She did her best at avoiding the area and always made sure I was not in pain from it. What stuck out to me was she got the paraffin saran thing (you know what they put the paraffin in to Tie to your ankles) and made sure that it didn't touch the area before actually putting the paraffin in and applying it to my heels, and making sure I was comfortable with that. Pedi lasted about 4 weeks which is average for me. As I was a walk in I waited 15 mins which is nothing. Before I left the woman at the front gave me card and suggested I call ahead of time to get a time frame so I wouldn't have to wait. 9 days ago I decided to go for a gel manicure. I called ahead as suggested and was told to arrive in 30 mins which I did. Was immediately taken and had a very pleasant gel manacure. At this point you are probably thinking why 3 stars for an all good experience. Yes it was however 9 days after a gel manicure I only have 2 fingers that have not peeled. Now this is not my first gel mani and on average it will last 14 to 20 days for me. 9 is a little sketchy. Would I Return? For a pedi! Nothing else read more

I've been on the hunt for a nail salon with a good reputation and good outcomes. Although it's my first time here I came early on a Tuesday and got my first set of LCN nails done. I had Sue the nail tech and she was fabulous, not to mention that everyone there is friendly. What I liked about my experience was that she took her time and I didn't feel like I needed to keep asking her to change my nail. SO I usually come in once in a while to get nails done and it usually goes so well but this time didn't. Everything was fine but the lady was filing the acrylic down because I asked for a coffin tip as she was doing this she was also filing my skin. This was really painful I told and showed the lady what she was doing and she stopped but then, continued on the same finger.Then the lady used the filing machine and kept loosing balance and cut my cuticle many times to the point that I was bleeding very badly and there was only three women so they were all rushing to get everyone down. I was there with my friends and their nails were fine but mine came out a little wonky and I was just so over it. I wanted to leave so I payed my 40$ and left. I got coffin tips with a matte black gel.I suggest when going her to try not to get the older women who sits farthest away from the door because that's the lady I had and it was a horrible experience. read more

This place is awesome, their technicians are very skilled, they measure your nails to make sure they are even with the other hand and they file really well. They take their time, they don't rush you and do a poor job like other salons. I always go there with a picture of a nail design and they are always able to give me the design as accurate as they can. When there done, they put really nice creams and my nails feel so smooth and the gel polish does not peel or chip. My nails last a good 2 and half weeks. I usually only go get my nails done when they grow out and I need more fill. They are a little pricier than other salons but they do a really nice job and you will leave happy. They are also very good with customer service, the girl at the counter is very friendly and the technicians actually try to engage in a conversation with you. Very friendly. read more
