She was super nice and talked to me the entire time which helped! Only downside I would say is something about the EWC in general I've noticed is they are very pushy with the products. I usually go here on my way home from work! Caitlyn is my waxer and is great! She takes the time to get to know her clients (if you continue to go to her). I've been going to her specifically for over a year! The receptionists greet you right when you walk in unless they are on the phone with another customer. You do undress with the waxer in the room. So if you are uncomfortable with that don't go to this franchise. Once you are on that waxing table they put baby powder on the areas you are getting waxed. They use hard wax! They also tweeze ingrown hairs. And apply ingrown hair serum. A variety of products are useful! You can get scrubs and other products elsewhere BUT there products are tailored to what you are getting waxed. read more

Don't go here. I will start by saying that I enjoyed my brow wax (first time customer) and the aesthetician did a great job, and was very nice. If the aestheticians were running the place, I would definitely come back. However-- The receptionists were rude. I absolutely did not like sitting in the waiting area listening to them gossip about people and talk on their cellphones. Their unprofessional behavior will definitely keep me from ever coming back to this place. I came in saying I have an appointment and the receptionist wouldn't listen to me because she was on a personal call with her friend. Ridiculous. I'm very impressed by how comfortable EWC made me feel about getting this kind of service done. Once you walk in, you're greeted by friendly and helpful receptionists. Your waxer comes to retrieve you and you're escorted to a private, very clean, quiet, and comfortable room. My favorite waxer (I've seen 3-4) is Samantha C by a longshot. She's professional, enjoys her work, super insightful and helpful, but most of all, she's hilarious. This is so important because when you're getting a Brazilian wax, you're bound to be uncomfortable. But thanks to Samantha, it's more like hanging out with your best friend..and your legs just happen to be in butterfly position. Overall, I'll be back every 4-5 weeks for the foreseeable future, and will try my best to get an appointment with Samantha C everytime. read more

I've been going to this European Wax Center for the past 3 years now. The place is very clean and the receptionists are always very professional and nice. They will always call you a day or two in advance to remind you of your appointment. I originally went to Brandi to get my Bikini Full waxes in the past but ever since she moved I have been jumping around from waxer to waxer. I was reading some reviews online and everyone was raving about how good Samantha C was. I decided to give her a try a few months ago and instantly loved her! She is always so peppy and does a great job waxing as well. The other waxers I went to would always do such small strips on me to remove the hair so I always felt like it took forever. With Samantha she does it in larger chunks to help reduce the pain afterwards. I hate the plucking afterwards so I always tell her not to pluck. Instead she just goes over the stray hairs with some wax. The whole process itself usually takes me around 10 minutes to get done. Sam is also always straight up with you about the products they offer as well. She gives you her honest opinion on them and doesn't try to push the products on you. After you finish your wax you then check out with the receptionist. You are able to leave a tip on a credit card which is convenient. I would recommend getting the wax passes if you are looking to come here more than once a year. You get a discount and they never expire. Also always schedule an appointment afterwards even if you have no intention of getting waxed because you accumulate points on your account which can then be used later to discount your wax if you are going to frequent this place. The only downside is European Wax Center is so expensive. I remember when I first started getting bikini full's they were around $36 and now they're $40. read more

Brazilian Waxes hurt. Period. But Beauty = pain, so suck it up for 15 minutes and you'll feel confident in a swimsuit all summer long. I like this particular European Waxing Salon because the receptionists are nice and will work patiently with you to figure out an appointment that fits into your schedule. I see Courtney for my Brazilian. She's great, unafraid to tackle the dreaded ingrowns, and pretty efficient at what she does. I've seen other people there who haven't been so great (leaving hairs, wax, etc.) so I will be sticking with Courtney for the foreseeable future. There's a Starbucks, Burger Bistro, Nail Salon, and Fro-Yo in this strip mall. Treat yourself afterwards! read more

Don't get waxed here. I've had maybe 10 Brazilian waxes in my life, and this was by far the worst, including the first one, during which the first thing the esthetician said to me was, "I don't usually do this." First of all, the main entrance has a really loud echo - like a cold cathedral type. But that didn't stop the receptionists from talking at full volume about their weekends. Needless to say, it was really awkward to sit there pretending not to listen to them (which was impossible given the echo). After a few minutes, my waxer came out to get me and she led me into a room along with another girl who was training. The girls asked me to undress from the bottom down, and then just stood there, waiting for me to get undressed. So I had to get butt naked in front of these two women, and then walk, naked, over to the table and hop on, while they just stood there watching. As if that wasn't bad enough, the girl used way too much wax and spread it on several areas at once. They use stripless wax that has to dry before being removed, but seriously, where was the fire? You couldn't just do one region at a time? This type of wax is supposed to be less painful, but not the way they do it here. For some reason, the wax broke mid pull. So the girl took 2 or 3 tries before being able to remove the entire strip. This happened at least 5 times. She did the same areas over and over and when it was finally done, there were several obvious hunks of wax still on me, which I hastily pulled off myself because the girls were once again, standing there, watching, as I was supposed to get dressed. All they rubbed on afterward was some anti-ingrown hair serum, which was great, except that I was, and am still, all sticky from the wax... I was drawn to the place by the half-off first time customer offer. I mean, a $19.50 Brazilian seemed too good to resist. But DON'T fall for it!! Resist!! I wouldn't go back if it was $10. read more

The wax & other products they use here are really good. But. . . I never get a consistent shape for my brazilians, even when I request the same aesthetician & they never ask me if I like the shape before they start packing up their tools & cleaning the station. They stay in the room while I'm undressing & dressing, cleaning the station & prepping the area either for me or for the next person. Basically, I end up feeling like I'm part of an assembly line and the aestheticians are just punching it in until the end of their shift. There's nothing BAD about the place, I just feel like for $40 you can get a much better wax elsewhere and you won't be hassled with them trying to sell you their packages or products. read more

I do like the wax that they use, and it doesn't cause as much damage to my skin as other waxes do, and it doesn't hurt as much. I have very sensitive skin. The first time I was there, I was unhappy with the eyebrow wax. I felt like she used the wax, but it didn't look like she removed any hair. They gave me a different person to try for the next visit, and she did an amazing job! I love how she shapes my eyebrows! I typically go for eyebrow waxing, but did have a other services right before my wedding. One thing that I did before the wedding was an underarm wax. I was very nervous about this as I had never had an underarm wax before, and again, my skin is very sensitive. Especially under my arms, I have to be careful what products to use as certain deoderants and lotions and such will give me a rash. I even have to be careful with laundry detergents, as some will give me a rash. I was so pleased! It didn't hurt like I thought it would, and I had great results! And it lasted for so long! The receptionists are usually very nice, but there are a few of them that can be a bit gossipy, either on their cell phones or with each other, which I don't think is very professional. Most of the times it doesn't happen, but there have been a handful of times when it has, and its annoying when it is clear they are on a personal call when you come in and have to wait for them to check you in. read more

Wow...what a great experience! Let me start by saying that I would much rather be sipping cocktails on a beach, or any where else for the matter, but the much needed Brazilian wax brought me into EWC. It was painful, I'm not gonna lie, but Emily was exceptional. She made me feel very comfortable and distracted me from a lot of the pain. I'm oddly okay with being exposed to a stranger, but I was very nervous about how much it was gonna hurt since I hadn't gone in years. The wax they use feels very nice on the skin and doesn't leave any irritation afterwards. I will definitely be going back! The receptionist and manager convinced me to buy a package (they offer a lot of deals) for Brazilian wax sessions...money well spent!! I look forward to going back! read more

Came here several months ago but was unimpressed. The wax was less painful than usual, but it was also less thorough and grew back faster than almost any other wax I've had. When I got home and checked I was shocked my waxer hadn't tweezed any stray hairs given how many there were. If you're looking for a hard wax like they use here (since it's less painful than soft wax) but done right, try Belissima in Summit. My only positive comment about European Wax Center is that their ingrown hair prevention serum (which they semi obnoxiously push you to buy at the counter) really does work and by using it in conjunction with a standard exfoliating scrub I very seldom get ingrowns now. read more

Samantha C is awesome. She explains everything and is very easy and fun to talk to. She makes you very comfortable during the whole waxing experience. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are clean, warm and quiet. European Wax Center in Warren is the worst waxing place that I've ever been to. The people who work there are extremely rude and unprofessional. I got my face waxed there right before going on vacation (big mistake!) I did let them know that I'd never had my face waxed before and was worried that I might break out. I was assured that I'd probably not break out since they used sensitive skin wax and if I did have a reaction, it would probably go away in 24-48 hours. Well, my face got all inflamed from the waxing, the redness and blotchiness lasted for more than a week and now I have scars from that (its been over 3 weeks now). The technician, Brianna, was very rough and kind of rushed me in and out of there. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more
