Alisha, the manager of establishment, greeted me outside and confirmed the best place to park. Parking was available across the street and a few places near the entrance including parking allocated for handicapped patrons. The interior was simply beautiful! Greenery everywhere! Seating was available near the entrance and the perimeter with plants placed by seating, as well as in a corner that had LPs and an actual record player. There is also a section with books of all genres for sale. The plant selection is the real focus with all sizes from fronds to plants that were several feet tall. Alisha was able to provide information on curating for individual spaces. She also answered questions on plant care including water and lighting. This space is available for meetings and can be configured for groups of all sizes. Pop up vendor was on-site selling beverages during my visit. Truly a multi faceted venue.

What a hidden gem for any plant enthusiast!…read more I'll be honest...this place is very difficult to find, to the point where I almost threw my hands up in the air and said "FORGET IT!" after 5-10 minutes of driving around and no real luck finding the place. When you turn down Foster Rd, turn right into the first driveway (you'll see a small "plant store" sign staked in the ground - there's also a sign talking about goat pictures or something??) and you'll park in that first parking lot. You'll see another "plant store" sign but it points towards a driveway that's chained off - just park in that lot and walk. You'll take a right behind the building and walk across this little bridge to, what looks like, an abandoned building (I believe the sign says 8-9) and on the far right there's a little staircase that goes down and the store is right there. Or if you turn into the 2nd driveway and park, you can walk up the stairs of the 8-9 building and find the little staircase on the other side of the porch. Again, this is not an easy spot to find...but I promise it's worth it. It's a really small shop, but you walk in and it's just FILLED with plants! They have several gram-worthy photo op spots in the store as well, so if you're into that sort of thing definitely take a moment to snap a few shots. They've got the place pumped full of some sort of aromatherapy and it's honestly so soothing and totally fits the vibe of the place. They have stuff ranging from small handheld cacti to large and full floor plants. Now I'll be honest...I can kill succulents, so I was nervous about what kind of plants to buy. The two folks working the shop were so friendly and helpful, especially when I came busting through the door and said "what are the lowest maintenance plants you got?!". They pointed me right to the ones that were super difficult to kill and even gave me a few tips/tricks to keeping my little guys alive and thriving. My biggest eye opener was the pricing - now I'm no plant enthusiast, but when I walked out the door with a decent sized snake plant in a pretty pot and another low-maintenance plant with a pretty flower bloom for $18...I felt like I basically robbed the place. I feel like the prices are ridiculously reasonable! If you're a big plant person....I would DEFINITELY say this place is worth checking out!

I love how it has more natural light for the plants, actually. I love the bar upstairs; the drinks are absolutely fabulous. Check out their drink menu. They have a bunch of cool crafted cocktails there with an outdoor seating area that just creates a vibe. Also, this bar is open even when the Victorian is closed, stays open late, and typically has live music. I recommend visiting the location both in the evening for a bar experience and during the day for a shopping-and-drinking experience. Great add-on to elevate the shopping experience. The plants are amazingly beautiful. Well taken care of, and The Victorian offers a variety you can't find anywhere else! Please just know these are not your Lowe's or Home Depot plants. These are very much like the bougie friends of plants, like the rich cousins, not to put down Lowe's or Home Depot cause I do have some babies from those places, but these are taken care of on a different level. They do have plant food on site. I prefer the good dirt. It's a little pricey, but your plants will thank you for it. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, so if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

The person working in the store was pleasant and friendly, and did a great job keeping the interior clean and welcoming. I didn't get to look at all the prices, but for the few things I did look at, I'd say the price is pretty fair for these plants. It's located upstairs by E + Rose along the Beltline, so you can either do street parking, use the parking garage, or park further out for free street parking and then walk along the beltline to get there.

Succulents in the Southeast!…read more Who knew I could find these beautiful plants in Atlanta?! We purchased two arrangements for us and one for her mother. At first, we were skeptical even to purchase live plants at all, for fear of killing them, like we had just about every other plant we ever bought. But the owner, Kurt, explained to us that they were super easy to care for and most needed watering only once a week. Imagine-- going on vacation and not having to worry about your plants! The arrangements we purchased were: Hypertufa (a sort of light-weight, organic cement) Dish Garden with Sempervivum (hens & chicks), Purple Ice Plant, and Spurium Tri-Color. A One-of-a-kind Container Garden with Purple Echeveria and Bright Green Angelina Hand crafted Mosaic Pot with Red-Tipped Jade, Crown of Thorns and Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' They are all fantastic! And all have continued to grow and flourish for months now! Southeast Succulents also had something called Vertical Gardens. That's what I'll purchase next time around!
