I came in around 8:20am after this place opened. I was a little thrown off by not being greeted or basic eye contact after I ordered on the kiosk. I ordered a regular smoothie and it took a very long time to get made which was super disappointing since I was the only person inside and there were four people working plus I was in a rush to get to the airport. After reading reviews I chose this location because it actually has a little bit of seating inside. We went with two different smoothie bowls: Crave-a-bowl (açai, cold brew and hazelnut butter) and Nutty by Nature (pitaya, almond butter). I usually have the OG: Big Sexy Bowl (açai with banana, chocolate chips, It's located in a shopping plaza with a nice coffee shop next to it, and yoga place upstairs, pizza place near and other businesses within walking distance. Were feeling healthy one morning so we decided to swing by and get some smoothies. I got the OG bowl and my husband tried a smoothie (I honestly forget which one). The inside of the store was very clean and had a nice vibe. The workers were nice and very busy, lots of people grabbed orders that I assume they placed online. In my opinion Green Brothers Juice has the best acai bowls and smoothies in the city, doesn't matter the location. The quality is always superb. The staff is friendly and they work well together as this location is usually crowded. Orders were still out in a timely manner. This time around I got an One in A Melon bowl which had watermelon base. The cookie butter was delicious just wish thete was a bit more fruit. This location is adjacent to a coffee shop and there is a passage door you can through to bounce back and forth from one place to the other which I thought was cool. About a month ago, my husband and I were craving smoothies, and never had smoothies from GB before so decided to give it a shot. Up until then, we've only had their juices/shots. I ordered the Berry Fit smoothie - sub Whey Protein for Peanut butter. Let me tell you something...literally the best smoothie I've ever had. It was so good, and I quickly became obsessed. My husband ordered the Mavin which he liked but didn't love. Since then, we've made it a tradition to come once a week (usually on the weekend), and order a smoothie. Now we both get the berry fit, mine substituted and his regular. I eventually added the loyalty app on my phone as well since I missed about 5 weeks of orders/points since I didn't have it downloaded. We've ordered an acai bowl from here as well, but personally, it's not my favorite. All in all, definitely recommend for smoothies & juices! read more

The healthy as hale and the captain crunch are well liked by my husband and myself. They are $9.25each and over $10 after tax. Definitely the most expensive smoothies we have had in this area. The ingredients are fresh and blend together really well. I'm tempted to try a superfood smoothie next time I'm in. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is that the juice is not made to order as well. As someone who drinks green smoothies anywhere from 3-6 days a week, I never felt the need to stop by a smoothie shop to buy something I can make at home. Until I began getting bored of the same rotation of drinks I whip up with my Ninja. I decided to give GBJ a try. Their online ordering is seamless, and it's easy to add one or many add-ins into whichever drink you purchase. I went into the shop, left with multiple smoothies, since I couldn't decide. Plus a frozen blend to try at home. They also sell bottled veggie juice, some were 30% off, a good deal of you usually buy those from the grocery stores like I do. Covid-19: you can download their app and use it to order and pay (and do curbside pickup). I had to order inside since I had to pick up my gift card. The staff was wearing masks and gloves and there was no one else inside when I was there. They were happy to let me wait outside while they made my food. I got the AB&J smoothie, the Nutty by Nature Bowl, and the Chill Shot. I enjoyed everything I got. I think I prefer an acai base for my bowls, but the Nutty by Nature was still good. Ever since my office moved farther away from the uptown location, I've missed Green Brothers Juice ever since. Now that I'm with a totally different company, it's time to juice it up again... actually this new location (I guess "new" is relative) is convenient on my commute to work. Located off of Park Rd in the newly build commercial section adjacent to the Food Lion, I was pretty impressed by the details. Right next to Not Just Coffee - Dilworth, the GB location fits in pretty well with the building finishes and the modern interior. There's even a passageway that connects the two businesses. I think all the other slots in the building are filled - Yoga One & Benchmark are really good neighbors for this location. The parking lot is convenient, though busy. I was able to pop in and out easily on my way to work this morning. The staff was friendly... there wasn't a line, but it seems like people just drop in and out. My favorite is the Mr. Joe. But everything on their menu is delicious. I also really like the glass separator from the front to the kitchen. Everything is super organized and labeled. A few high top tables and adjustable stools and a small sitting area in the front take up the rest of the space. Lots of merch for sale on the shelves and in the fridge up front. Got the Sir Purr smoothie, i mostly got it because I thought it was cool that it was blue - lol. Was underwhelming, not my favorite. The consistency was not my favorite as it was kind of a thick gooey consistency where you couldn't take spoonfuls because it all stuck together. This was my first time at a Green Brothers juice, but I have had a few acai bowls and juices in my life. I got the Nutty By Nature bowl that had a pitaya base and it had some toppings like strawberries, honey and almond butter. I thought the base was blended well and the strawberries and granola were in my bites throughout and not just decoration on top. I also got the greenade juice it was delicious the main flavors I tasted were the celery and lemon in it. It also had apple, kale and spinach. In terms of prices my total came to about $20 which to me is pretty average for any juicery spot. I also noticed they have smoothies, protein bites, and more. Customer service was great. Then I also got a green juice and it was so fresh that I walked out spending over $45 haha ! Really disappointed in the "first impression." I had been following Green Brothers on instagram & was looking forward to visiting the shop & doing a three day cleanse. One post posed the question of a cleanse & advertised getting a cooler tote with purchase of three or five day cleanse. For me, this was more motivation, since there was an easier way to transport the glass bottles of juice to work. Fast forward a couple of weeks, I made the decision to cleanse. I went in on Tuesday (of this week) & inquired. I was told they would have to prepare it & could I come back tomorrow at 1:30. "Sure", I said. The employee filled out a homemade chart (with other customers). I paid & left. The next morning, I received a call, stating they were out of a couple of the juices. Did I want to replace or ...? I asked could I come get them on Friday at 11 AM? I was told I could. Today arrives (Friday) & I got there at 11. The girl who took my order on Tuesday was at the register, but walked away. So another employee came up. I told her I was there to pick up my three-day cleanse. She gets the folder out & looks confused already. I knew something was wrong. My information was not to be found, initially. She pulled out one bag from under the counter & had to put together the other two days, pulling from their "grab & go" case. She began putting them in other plastic bags. Clearly, these bags were not made to hold 6+ glass bottles. She helped me take them out to the car & I even mentioned to her, "I thought I was going to get a cooler tote with this?" She either ignored me or didn't know how to respond. I'm excited about the cleanse & know it will do me well, but I paid $160 for the cleanse & felt I wasn't treated very professionally. The employees just don't seem to be customer focused. I got the Crave-A-Bowl both times and it was so satiating, delicious, and healthy! The Crave-A-Bowl comes with açaí, blueberry, banana, cold brew, and almond milk as the base and is topped with sliced strawberries, coconut flakes, hemp seed, granola, honey, and Nutella. It is even better than it sounds - and it sounds pretty dang good!! The açaí bowl was on the thicker side, but melts relatively quickly. I found that when I ate the bowl as is versus mixing it in, it helped it stay cooler (or maybe it was just a colder day!). Excited to find yet another juice spot in Charlotte . This Dilworth location is near a yoga studio and a coffee shop, as well as other shops and a grocery store, making it a convenient opportunity to have something healthy. This visit I tried the 'So Fresh, So Green' with vegan protein. This is a combination of lemon juice, apple juice, banana, mango, kale and broccoli and it wad delicious! Very smooth, not grainy at all. No after taste and not overly sweet. I can't remember what the woman making my juice said my protein was, but essentially she was explaining that it was not pea protein like I had assumed , but a some sort of protein derived from millet (I believe). She explained that Green Brothers's goal was to use foods in their most natural form. So to me , that meant they aren't just 'vegan', but they are focused using minimally processed ingredients or ingredients that aren't processed at all. I have been looking for a good smoothie place in Charlotte and I am so glad that I found Green Brothers Juice! They have a long list of smoothies and smoothie bowls as well as seasonal smoothies! They also sell their juices and healthy pre made meals as well which I would be interested to try. I got the peppermint bark smoothie which was a December seasonal item! It was amazing and literally tasted like it could be a milkshake even though it was packed with healthy fruits. Recently I tried the strawberry hazelnut Lovely Levine seasonal one and it should find its way on the regular menu because it's so good. Only thing I would change are the Acai bowls. It might just be a preference thing though. I prefer to have them the traditional Hawaii way with just the Acai as the base and then a ton of fresh fruit on top instead of fruit and other things blended into the Acai base. read more
