Mamaka transports you right out of Charlotte and feels like you're in a beach town! Their smoothies are always delicious and honestly really great prices.

A bright, bold, colorful place to grab a solid açaí bowl. Service here was so friendly and they were happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions. I appreciated the large menu and how many delicious offerings they had. I opted for the signature Mamaka Bowl and added almond butter and coconut flakes and it was as refreshing as it was tasty. Lots of great texture and very fresh fruit. My taste buds left feeling happy.

Just as good the second time around! Love Mamaka! I've tried the Pipeline, the Babe, and a bite of my friend's Bean. All delicious! The pipeline is more peanut buttery than I expected (in the best way)!

Great bowls and smoothies for a great price. Inside is a vibe and good amount of seating outside. Love how fresh everything is

Best smoothie bowls in south end and great value for the amount you get. Ingredients always taste very clean and fresh.

This could be dangerous for me because I can walk to it from work SO GOOD!!! I got the salty mocha to drink and the Espressyo Self bowl - highly recommend!! The shop is very clean and minimalist which I love. The swings out front are so cute!

I stopped by Mamaka Bowls while walking my dogs. They are dog friendly. I got great feedback on the menu from Jamie she was very knowledgeable . I chose the namesake Mamaka Bowl. It seems all of the bowls/smoothies are or can be made vegan (Good for me). It appears they have an espresso bar too. I look forward to trying more of their items.

I ordered a large Mamaka bowl on door dash and paid extra for extra toppings. I was super disappointed with what I received... I didn't know it was possible to slice strawberries that thin and there were only about 5 of those tiny slices.

I love this new addition to South End! I've already been 3 times. It's such a great spot for Açaí Bowls and easily walkable. They have lots of seating inside and they have super fast service. Very dog friendly too. The bowls are delicious and they also offer smoothie versions. The flour breakfast tacos are also great, they come with salsa. Next time I need to try a coffee! Highly recommend.

It's easy to get to especially with how crazy south end can get! Lots of parking available most of the time but it's also very easy to walk to and there isn't normally a line even early in the morning. If you're unfamiliar with the area, as I was, it's hard to find, but it's definitely a hidden gem. It's located within a beautiful brick shopping area, surrounded by other places to eat & shop, but it's in a cove area which leads to a courtyard. Again, hidden gem. It's so cute & cozy. There are 2 tables inside, and a few outside, which would be perfect on a nice day. The service is great, seems to a family run business. Everything looks soooooo delicious, it was very hard to decide. I narrowed it down to a small Lobster Tail pastry, which is essentially a deliciously stuffed croissant with Italian sweet cream (my guess) with a strawberry on top. It was the best pastry I've had in a long time. I also ordered the carrot cake, which is a favorite of mine, and it was good, not the best ever, but it's ok, the Lobster Tail made everything ok. Lastly, I had the Biscoff Latte. As you know, you'll see either a Biscoff or a Cookie Butter Latte everywhere you go these days. This was my third go at a variation & maybe my favorite.
