Mamaka transports you right out of Charlotte and feels like you're in a beach town! Their smoothies are always delicious and honestly really great prices.

A bright, bold, colorful place to grab a solid açaí bowl. Service here was so friendly and they were happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions. I appreciated the large menu and how many delicious offerings they had. I opted for the signature Mamaka Bowl and added almond butter and coconut flakes and it was as refreshing as it was tasty. Lots of great texture and very fresh fruit. My taste buds left feeling happy.

Just as good the second time around! Love Mamaka! I've tried the Pipeline, the Babe, and a bite of my friend's Bean. All delicious! The pipeline is more peanut buttery than I expected (in the best way)!

Great bowls and smoothies for a great price. Inside is a vibe and good amount of seating outside. Love how fresh everything is

Best smoothie bowls in south end and great value for the amount you get. Ingredients always taste very clean and fresh.

This could be dangerous for me because I can walk to it from work SO GOOD!!! I got the salty mocha to drink and the Espressyo Self bowl - highly recommend!! The shop is very clean and minimalist which I love. The swings out front are so cute!

I stopped by Mamaka Bowls while walking my dogs. They are dog friendly. I got great feedback on the menu from Jamie she was very knowledgeable . I chose the namesake Mamaka Bowl. It seems all of the bowls/smoothies are or can be made vegan (Good for me). It appears they have an espresso bar too. I look forward to trying more of their items.

I ordered a large Mamaka bowl on door dash and paid extra for extra toppings. I was super disappointed with what I received... I didn't know it was possible to slice strawberries that thin and there were only about 5 of those tiny slices.

I love this new addition to South End! I've already been 3 times. It's such a great spot for Açaí Bowls and easily walkable. They have lots of seating inside and they have super fast service. Very dog friendly too. The bowls are delicious and they also offer smoothie versions. The flour breakfast tacos are also great, they come with salsa. Next time I need to try a coffee! Highly recommend.

It kind of has the vibe of a hotel lounge with comfortable couches and chairs for seating. Their menu isn't large or extensive but they do a great job with what they provide. I could see myself coming here regularly if it was located closer to my office. The amount of plants is a nice bonus as it adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The name Arbol Eatery really suits it. If you find yourself wandering Uptown and are in need of a quick bite or maybe just a place to lounge you should head to Carillion and find this place.

The standout for us was definitely the Cuban -- a super creative take on a classic, with that perfect balance of "original with a twist." El Italiano was a close second, packed with flavor and just the right texture. The torta was solid too, just a little spicy for my like, but I never checked if it was, and the Caprese made for a fresh, lighter option, it was missing the fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Service was fair. Overall, the place has a chill vibe, the food came out quickly, and we'd come back to try more of the menu.

As a New Yorker we have our share of markets/food halls and OH fits the familiar script, with a slightly smaller footprint than what I've experienced. What never seems to change is that securing seating can be a challenge because all spots are "prime" real estate and the abundance of choices is an indecisive person's nightmare. Nonetheless, to all the foodies at heart those are just minor details for mere mortals... lol. We managed to grab a larger enough table and everyone circled until we made our individual choices and then returned to our central meeting spot to break bread and indulge in all of our finds. We enjoyed several of the eateries we experienced and I was particularly intrigued by the plant store (albeit kinda pricey). Returning is a no brainer especially for the places that were most memorable. Just A Note: Parking is not free, payment is required. Please note depending on the time of day it can be crowded so securing a spot will require patience.
