Mamaka transports you right out of Charlotte and feels like you're in a beach town! Their smoothies are always delicious and honestly really great prices.

A bright, bold, colorful place to grab a solid açaí bowl. Service here was so friendly and they were happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions. I appreciated the large menu and how many delicious offerings they had. I opted for the signature Mamaka Bowl and added almond butter and coconut flakes and it was as refreshing as it was tasty. Lots of great texture and very fresh fruit. My taste buds left feeling happy.

Just as good the second time around! Love Mamaka! I've tried the Pipeline, the Babe, and a bite of my friend's Bean. All delicious! The pipeline is more peanut buttery than I expected (in the best way)!

Great bowls and smoothies for a great price. Inside is a vibe and good amount of seating outside. Love how fresh everything is

Best smoothie bowls in south end and great value for the amount you get. Ingredients always taste very clean and fresh.

This could be dangerous for me because I can walk to it from work SO GOOD!!! I got the salty mocha to drink and the Espressyo Self bowl - highly recommend!! The shop is very clean and minimalist which I love. The swings out front are so cute!

I stopped by Mamaka Bowls while walking my dogs. They are dog friendly. I got great feedback on the menu from Jamie she was very knowledgeable . I chose the namesake Mamaka Bowl. It seems all of the bowls/smoothies are or can be made vegan (Good for me). It appears they have an espresso bar too. I look forward to trying more of their items.

I ordered a large Mamaka bowl on door dash and paid extra for extra toppings. I was super disappointed with what I received... I didn't know it was possible to slice strawberries that thin and there were only about 5 of those tiny slices.

I love this new addition to South End! I've already been 3 times. It's such a great spot for Açaí Bowls and easily walkable. They have lots of seating inside and they have super fast service. Very dog friendly too. The bowls are delicious and they also offer smoothie versions. The flour breakfast tacos are also great, they come with salsa. Next time I need to try a coffee! Highly recommend.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. The place was completely packed and she handled the front -- serving, hosting, and clearing tables -- without ever losing her poise or positive attitude. The waitress recommended the mimosa carafe since we were both ordering mimosas. They have the juice and champagne separate, and it's more than enough champagne. We were given more juice, too. We ordered the omelette. I added onions, peppers, smoked Gouda, and bacon to it. The Gouda set it off. It was delicious but could use more cheese on top or something. TN potatoes were flavorful and crispy enough. The toast was standard. My fiancé ordered the WWIII with chicken thigh. The waffle was okay. Nothing special, and the chicken was seasoned almost too much but was pretty good. Both paired well with the syrup. The music was great. Explicit but it was like they took my Spotify playlist and put in on the speaker. The waitress was fine. Wish she would've told us how much the mimosa carafe cost when she suggested it, but it was worth it. If we are in town again, we may go back.
